percocet weight gain

SOME SAY THE PERCOCET CAUSED WEIGHT GAIN. OTHER SAY IT CAUSES WEIGHT LOSE. WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE TO KNOW WHICH IS THE CASE. WORKS WELL FOR PAIN BUT WON;T BE ABLE TO KEEP TAKING IT IF IT CAUSES WEIGHT GAIN.

Im not bulimic, no aneroxic , my body just cant gain weight. I am 23, male, 5 ' 10'' and currently weigh 114... down 10 pounds from about 1-2 months ago. I eat decently. The main problem is anything that enters my stomach, it doesnt seem to like it... Like its hypersensitive to any food. bad stomach cramps, nausea, loose bowels...sometimes when i go to the bathroom, half the food isnt digested yet..

m CLEAN but NOT happy about the weight gain! Trying to get a little exercise in everyday (walking about 2 miles every other day...

also makes u gain weight rapidly and causes a heavy tongue when talking....

i am starting off taking lithium and percocet and ativan,,,what kind of side effects can i expect...depakote caused me to gain 30 lbs over the last 6 months!! nd it caused hair thinning and loss!

He says she has Meralgia Paresthetica and MRI and CT scan show nothing but thickened nerve and soft tissue damage, swelling in the area. She has had a rapid weight gain of almost 100 pounds in the last year 3 years despite careful diet, medical supervision and intense exercise programs. She rapidly developed huge stretch marks within a few months. She was worked up for Cushings sumptoms and it was negative. She has Polycystin Ovarian Syndrome and is on Metformin.

I had an upper left lobectomy for very small lung adenocarcinoma (no chemo/radiation) 14 months ago. ribs under breasts are constantly swollen and painful (look 9 months pregnant). PM doc gave 6 day course of prednisone for "costochondritis". Orthopedic surgeon said rest and take NSAID's (can't due to stomach/liver problems) Taking Meloxicam 3x a day and Percocet to sleep. can only lay in one position for 14 months. It is REALLY painful!

Hello all- I haven't posted in quite a bit. I hope everyone is doing well! I am 96 days clean today from badly abusing Percocet. Since I stopped the pills I am gaining a lot of weight. I don't want to and I am working out almost every day. I used to drink coffee all day when I was on pills. Cut it back to just the am because it was making me jittery. My doctor said stopping the coffee slowed my metabolism, and now that I am off the pills my apetite is back----moral of the story....

who specializes in Internal Medicine about these new symptoms you describe. I see no connecting between her weight gain, breathing problmes and stomach issue and the cancer or reconstruction. I do advise that she see someone as soon as possible as this could be due to some other rather serious medical problem. Regards ....

Well ladies today doctor appointment went well but we did find out baby girl is still breech. I am not dialated at all which doctor is happy about, blood pressure is good, but my weight gain is crazy. Since 10/24 ive gained 14 lbs so he thinks my fluid has gone up again. So in the end my C-Section is scheduled for December 5th unless i go into labor on my own sooner. How is everyone else doing?

I consulted with him from the start. He tells me that the weight gain has nothing to do with his surgery. This Thursday, I am heading to see him for my 3 month check-up. For 2 months after the surgery, I started feeling better than before. This last month though, it is a much different story. The radiating and burning pain I had before the procedure is coming back, The numbness and tingling also has returned if I use my arms at 90 degree angles for more than 30 minutes.

Look up weight gain according to BMI and it will give you a good idea on the amount of weight you should gain according to your body type.

Well I'm 7 months that means I'm 27 weeks and I have only gain 1 pound my midwife said it was OK 4 me to not gain weight bcz I'm over weight so u girls tell me it seems like I won't have to do a lot of weight loss. How far are u nd how much you gain?

You gain the most weight in the last 8 weeks. So you might barely gain now, and then pack it on fast toward the end which is normal.

I know this is probably a stupid question, but I'm 36weeks pregnant and since my last doctors appointment I haven't gained any weight. I didn't gain weight in the 1st trimester due 2 sickness, but in the 3rd I've been pretty steady with my weight gain...at the very least a poun a week. So my dr says my weight gain is fine. He said 1 pound per week along I am.. So I am 32 weeks and I have gained 31 lbs... Does that sound like a lot?!? What has everyone else gained? Or is that a horrible question to ask everyone?

I haven't gain that much weight but I'm pretty sure I was at least 7 to 10 pounds over weight before I got pregnant.... I'm 5'3 so i think i should weight a little less..... maybe 125lb Before I had my beautiful baby girl (now 25 months) I was working out a lot and I was feeling good ...lol I went down to 128lbs and that when my hubby decided that it was time for another baby ..... I don't even know how or when did It happen.... :(.

I believe that prevacid can cause weight gain ..seems so many babies are now diagnosed with reflux we used to call it cholic and wait for it to pass now seems they put them on meds.Still your doctor would know the answer, I think its the meds and whilst you child ius on them he may gain weight.good luck once he is off the meds he may go down to a normal weight.

I needed those words of reassurance thank you :) I was all worried because medhelps tracker showed that I was at a way high weight gain. So do you think I won't gain any more weight for a while then since your 16weeks and have also gained 10lbs?

I was around 137 pre pregnancy and am now 151. Is this a normal amount of weight gain and how much more weight is normal??? I feel like I've gained so much since some women don't gain any.
