Don't worry about the silly test. If it's a urine test the medications will show up in your urine, especially the methadone. It has a very long half life. Please reconsider the way you are taking your medication and be honest with your self and the doctors. You will be much better off in the short and long run. good luck.

Have you been notified of the results of the test results of the urine test ? It likely showed little to no amount of Percocet from the flushing of water and diuretic combo. There really isn’t much you can do at this point, other than to not consume mega amounts of water in the days before your appt, in the event you are tested again, and take the meds exactly as prescribed. I would avoid the diuretic as well in the week leading up to an appt.

If I took one. 5 mg. percocet on 9/8 and did a drug screening at work on 9/21 and it came back positive is this possible? I also did another instant urine on 9/23 and that came back negative. Can the drug company be wrong? Which results are right. Also took Ibeprophen 500 & amoxacillan on 9/11. Someone please give me some good news my job of 18 yrs. depends on it.

I am actually asking this cuz of my fiance. He "failed" his urine test for NOT having Percocet in his system when in fact he did have some just not that often. So, due to this the discharged him from their pain clinic with nothing. The only other thing I would recommend is to take a percocet (or two), the morning before your urine test just to make sure it shows up. I know it ***** to take medication when you don't have pain but it can mean not having future medications to manage your pain should the percocet not show up.

This means your urine test was sent for both qualitative and quantative testing. A positive/negative result but also confirmation you are taking meds exactly as they are prescribed. From your post, it seems you may not be if you are ‘running short’. Patients have a responsibility to take the meds exactly as prescribed, not more, not less , UNLESS and UNTIL you have gotten your drs consent BEFORE taking more.

i hope 3 full days will be enough time for percocet to not show up in a urine test.

I would do back injections combined with being prescribed percocet as part of my treatment. However, if they use a lab for testing it will be able to tell what meds you took. I can totally understand family issues, etc. But when going to a pain clinic those rules have to be followed. Never has she asked for a Urine Drug Screen. Last month I called in to get a refill on my Percocet and she told me I needed to do a Random Urine Drug Screen. t think much about because i know i only take the medication he gives me which are hydrocodone10 and gabapentin and tizanidine well when he came back in the room he ask me when I took my last pain pill and if I had been taking percocet and trading my pills for them. I would tell your doctor just to be safe and relief your anxiety about it. is it a routine urine test or are they looking to see if you took drugs? Just be honest especially since you are pregnant.

The clinic I attend, as do most clinics, require regular urine screens to assure that the meds are being taken properly. I have had two urine screens so far and both have returned negative results for opiates. My pain level (without medication) on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being most severe, is on average a 9, and with pain medication 3. I take my medication as prescribed, sadly, they are my lifeline, without which I would be unable to function and I ultimately end up virtually bed ridden.

I have been in PM for a year being prescribed Percocet to be take up to 4 times a day as needed. I never had a problem and was always a compliant patient and passed all my drug screens. Recently I had a drug screen and they claim I didnt have the proper amount of percocet in my system....so they dismissed me from the practice. I understand I signed a pain contract, but this is rediculous.
