Whats the difference between say a percocet 512, vicodin ES to a 5mg oxycodone generic for percolone

I recently was dx with MS and have chronic pain in back, neck,down both legs and in my head, which is where they dx my MS, I have a large mass in my brain tissue and only difference is my spinal fluid is clear.

t say for sure what these exact pills are, but Percocet is an opiate based pain reliever similar to Vicodin, Lortabs, etc.... Yes, you should stay as far away from them as possible! Tell the person that offered them to you a very big "No Thanks" Take care!

For 13 years I have used a durogesic patch and percocet together with lower to stronger strengths at the present. For 8 years I have used a durogesic 75mcg patch changing it every 48 hrs.- due to BREAK THROUGH PAIN. Along with the patch I use Percocet 7.5/325 mg 4 tablets a day. Plus, through the years I have changed other medications but at the present I also use: Neurontin 300mg 3 capsules 4 times a day Flexeril 10 mg as needed (up to 3 per day) Valium 5mg q 6 hrs.

This is best discussed with your dr, as he/she has reasons for putting you on the meds you're on. If your pain is worse than before then you need to figure out why. has the pain actually gotten worse? or has the newer meds not been as effective as the previous ones? or is there a tolerance issue? given your liver problems i'd not feel comfortable making any recommendations other than 'see your dr'. hope you can get to the bottom of it. Now surgeon has upped my vicodin to vicodinHP 1 tab every 6 hrs,,I had asked if oxycotin or percocet would be a better choice he said no, they are bothe too addictive,,like vidodin is not I know it is,,,Im just curious.

I broke my back in a car accident 11 years ago since that time I have taken 3 Vicoprofen & 3-5 Percocet everyday. My tolerance to pain meds is so high! Most medicines don't even touch my pain & never have any relief. I suffer from Rheumtoid Arthritis, Fibro, Septic Arthritis, Scoliosis, and severe nerve damage in my spine. The acetaminophen added is 325, 500 or 650mg. So you could be prescribed 10/325. There is again just plain Oxycodone without any additives. The immediate release form (Oxycodone IR) does come in a 30mg tablet.

I have been on pain meds since 2008, Percocet 5/325. I suffer from arthritis as well as DDD in my lower back, affecting my L4, L5 and S1. m percocet addict so I sure do understand the hold these devils have on a person. Its like heroin in pill if you ask me. I can't believe it but I've been off them a year and you can do it too! I think you should be completely honest with your doctor. He will understand, not be shocked and will help you through this. He cannot write your condition on a sick note because it violates doctor patient confidentiality laws . Its strickly between you and him. Don't be scared.

I don`t know if percocet is like darvecet by the physical part took a good week to get past cold turkey. The mental part is alittle harder. but you can definatley do this!! Today is day 48 for me and this site will help you ALOT!

I had major back surgery, a four level fusion, in october 2006. I was given percocet after the surgery, and was told to go to a special pain management place, where i went for over 7 months. because I was active 4 weeks after the surgery, and started to run around and take care of my kids and get back to my very busy life style, I never had real time to relax, and just "chill out". I stopped going to therapy in july, last year, put I continued to need the pain meds.

I'm I having withdrawl or not I stopped taking percocet 40 hrs ago and lying in bed tonight my hands and shoulders were aching so bad I was tossing and turning I got up and took 2 10's Percocet and 1 10 Oxycontin and now I'll spend the rest of the night in my recliner , The question is, is my pain a reaction to stopping the Percocet . I've gone through this time and time again only to have the pain over whelm me .
