percocet makes me itch

Everything makes me itch. When she lays her head on my chest, her hair itches me like crazy so I have to ask her to move and it upsets her. Hugging, sexual activities, her stroking my skin, holding her hand, even just things I do every day like sitting down or moving bed sheets off of me; they ALL make me itch. It's getting to the point where it is effecting my girlfriend's mental health.

Usually 1 or 2 would nip the spasm before it got too bad. Then I discovered it helped me sleep also! I also found it helped my mood, i.e., made me more talkative to my husband, more interesting. You all know the rest of the story. I am on day 9 without taking any Percs - but I've made a terrible mistake in taking Ambien, Valium or Xanax to help me sleep. I was prescribed Valium 30 years ago for jumpy legs at night and they helped.

I have been taking Percocet 5/325 then after the last mri finding 4 disc blown and pinched nerves doc increased to 10/325 I was fine with the 5 but taking the 10/325 I itch like &*(%^^# I was advised to take benedryl am I allergic?

I have had two cortizone shots now and no relief at all, i was taking percocet which worked really well until I became allergic to it. I tried vicodin and it didn't help also morphine helped but it made me a zombie. So i"m just wondering is there anything else I could try. My pain doctor said i'll need surgery theres nothing else he can do.

Also I will b home by myself is that not good. I do have friends that can stop by and look after me.

Hi Gary, I'm reaching out myself for help. I've been diagnosed with a bilateral knee condition where the cartilage on the back of each patella is breaking down and wearing away. I'm too young for total knee replacements. I live in agony daily. My pain management doc prescribes me 180 Percocet 10/325's, no more than 6/day. Helps the pain great, but also makes me feel like "superwoman" and before I know it that 180 pills is gone in about a week.

I hate the way it brings me down and makes me sleepy. But when the burn kicks in, it does relieve. I just cant take when working or driving. I had gotten a bottle of 60, and I probably still have 50 in 3 months. Give it a shot if you know you won't like downers. It's good relief.

I just do not want them put to sleep b/c they are sweet dogs and do not need that. I really do not even want to get rid of them but I have no choice. It makes me so sad to let them go. I just can not take care of them anymore, it really hurts my feelings. Hauilley is so loveable she just wants to be petted for hours and when you quit she will give you her paw and want you to continue, and Sally is more of dominate and likes to be petted but just likes to hang out but wants to know she is loved.

I see and hear so many people say how they are afraid if their baby may have down syndrome and it makes me so sad. A baby born from God in any form is still a blessing. yes, the baby may not be "normal" according to society standards, but he/she is still a gift. So if anybody is scared that their baby may have downs then I am sorry you feel that way. I am not trying to be ugly, it just makes me really upset.

My pain management doctor recently switched me to hydrocodone 10-500 due to pharmacy crack downs and I am itching like crazy and having bad nightmares and don't sleep well and grind my teeth bad. I must be having an allergic reaction? I'm not allergic to anything but this now. I'm suffering in pain cause I can't take these side effects! I was on Oxycodone 10-325 and didn't have any problems.

Since just taking percocet I itch incessently. Whats so weird about it is its worse when I ly on my back, which is how I sleep. Thank God for back scratchers!!! I rubb my back with rubbing alcohol, temp. relief. I can't take this anymore. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone. It's been over 3 months since I got off Percocet . All is great and withdrawals were completely gone. But here is my new situation. I've recently had a health problem that causes excruciating pain and the doctors at the hospital gave me Percocet to help minimize the pain. I'm on 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours and will be for two more days. Total has been about a week.

I know exactly where ur coming from. Vicodin or Oxycodone some how gives me lots of energy and Makes me feel all Happy and Great ! Well - that's the point of an Opiate Based Narcotic - to give us a False sense of Well Being. We have a Painful Neck or Back, it obviously doesnt Cure us, just makes us feel better. I think the only real Way to get off Percocet is to simply Stay off it. I don't think you should have any real Physical issues.

I have had this & hate it with a passion as well. I was told to put an ice pack on the area & try your best to not scratch because this apparently makes the neuropathic itch more antagonistic. I tried numbing creams but didn't find that helped me. If it wasn't on your face I would say cover the area to avoid any damage & wear gloves at night to avoid the scratching you may not be aware of.

I was hoping that by taking the clonidine while I still have percocet would keep me from having as bad of a withdrawal when I run out but its making me feel pretty awful. I am really scared and dont have friends and family here and cant do the inpatient detox cuz I have pets and no one to care for them and I am just really freaking out. I just tried to take more percocet to see if it would help the symptoms and now I am sweating and feeling awful.
