Percocet is Oxycodone and Acetaminophen. Percocet is a brand name and there is no liquid Percocet. There is a liquid version of Oxycodone and Acetaminophen called Roxicet, however. It's not necessarily measured in mg's though. It's measured in ml's in which 5ml contaings 5mg of Oxycodone and 325mg of Acetaminophen. Now that I've written all of that...I have to ask..why do you ask?

I would probably ask for an increase in your patch and maybe moving to a liquid form of the percocet, because if you need it that many times a day, your probably not really getting the full dose and from what I've read the liquid form should be absorbed better, which should give you better pain control. Be careful with dosages.I believe you mean 550mg tylenol. In that case your fine. Hydrocodone (AKA.Lortab,Vicodin,Zydone ,Vicoprofen,Ect.). All are a preperation with tylenol/asprin and hydrocodone. Varies in hydrocodone dose from 2.5 (Pediatric dosage) to 15mg (15 mg made by special compound pharmacies. Make sure you read your bottle well. Please follow your doctors instructions! Its important for a few reasons.

I have only been taking percocet for less than 3 wks now, (had an Acl repair on my knee) and by wk 2 I was on 3 percs a day, then when I dropped down to 2 thats when the horrible withdrawals came. I would get horrible stomach cramping, diarreah, and sweats for about 5hrs or untill my next dose. Then I realized i was in fact having withdrawls and started breaking up the pills through out the day, and I have enough pills left to drop 1/4 pill every 2 days.

My ENT made it very clear that I would not be getting a refill on my liquid pain relief (Percocet). The pain is still ridiculous. I found some liquid Tylenol but it doesnt touch the pain. I have had severe heartburn/reflux for some time, regardless of medication. After a gastric empty study my doctor decided to put me on liquid Erythromycin three times a day, because apparently I was one percentage away from an "abnormal" emptying time. Because 60mg of Prevacid wasn't helping me, my doctor thought that perhaps slowed emptying could be causing my persistent burning. On top of my heartburn/reflux problem, I also have a history of ovarian cysts.

Dear Doctor, I am a para-medical PhD student, and I used embalmed cadavers for my research. Yesterday I was dissecting blood vessels in muscle tissues. The vessels did have semi-liquid blood inside them. while dissecting I pricked my finger with the scalpel which had some blood on it. The wound wasn't bad, but still bleeding a little. I squeezed some blood out and washed my finger. I am not sure how well the cadaver is embalmed and I know it has not been screened.

As I understand it, oxycodone is percocet in a non time released form. Oxycontin is essentially percocet in a time release form...ie, take on pill now and it's effectiveness should last up to 12 hours...there may be more to it than that. oxycodone's effects usually last approx 4-6 hours.

i am 54,have diabetes type 2 ,i take paxil,oxycontin,lisinopril,metformin,percocet,lipitor.in august 2007 i had afib episode that lasted about day.i was given metropol 25 mg twice a day and he wanted to put me on coumadin but i was scared coz i had internal ulcer bleeding once so i refused and i was taking metropol for about month and everything was fine.i just had another a fib that lasted same time.he put me on warfarin 5 mg and metoprol 25 mg twice a day.

Hello!! I also abused Percocet. You are early in your withdraw...it is going to take some time. The first week is pure hell I'm not going to sugar coat it. You will get through this!!!!!i am on day 19 today and still dealing with issues. After the first 7 days the physical withdraws will subside quite a bit. Stock up on items in the Thomas recipe...they will help!!!! How much and how long were you taking the percs? Stay strong and good luck to you!!

s not in time released form. The difference is percocet has acetaminophen 325mg to be exact. Increasing the dosage of percocets is bad because of the acet. Alot of times doctors perscribe oxycontin, or roxicets.... because the patients stomach can't handle the acet. It's very hard on the stomach. I hope that answers your question.

Is the pill. Oxaydo 5mg tabs, just like taking a percocet 5/325 ? They are suppose to be a deterrant. So do they act just as the actual percocet pill?

Starting with vicodin for TMJ chronic pain then to percocet about 3 and 1/2 years ago. About a year after that started receiving morphine, fentenal patches, then methadone and now oxycontin to use with the percocet. I just had a 2 level neck fusion and have more back problems to be fixed.
