Percocet in liquid form

Common Questions and Answers about Percocet in liquid form

1264863_tn?1391121793 If you are only taking 8 pills a day you are below the daily max dose. Percocet have 325mg per pill. So you are taking 2600mg of acetaminophen. They say nowadays not to go above 3000mg and it use to be 4000mg. So I wouldn't worry about it. Just continue tapering down and you will be taking less and less acetaminophen.
Avatar_m_tn It sounds like you have your eyes on the prize of freedom and, in my opinion, that's a great thing. I get that happy people generally live in the moment, but who in the hell want's to live in the moment of their w/d?! Not me, so I choose to keep my eyes on all of the positive things that are waiting for me once I get through it, and it seems like you're doing that too. I wanted to add, on top of everything else that has already been suggested, a heating pad helps me with RLS.
Avatar_n_tn this scared me straight and i have been detoxing on my own since currently down to 5mg oxy in the morning and 1 percocet before bed to help me get a few hours of sleep. at some point my withdrawl pains are close to unbareable but i just keep telling myself it will be better tomorrow. good luck to everyone be strong stay positive.
Avatar_f_tn My mom had something similar and went in to have it removed. She has a tiny scar, but is glad it is gone. I don't know what caused it. Her procedure was outpatient, so she went home the same day.
Avatar_f_tn I have to go to the clinic every day to get my daily dose. I take the dose in front of a Nurse who watches me drink it. It is in liquid form. There is normally a line of people and we are all there for the same reason. We pay about thirteen dollars a day to get the medicine but we also get to see a Doctor whenever we want and we talk to a Counselor once a week. They also offer a lot of group therapy sessions. About once every 10-15 days, you come due for a drug testing by urine.
Avatar_n_tn IF you have suboxone or methadone or subutex or ANY type of ******** maintence drug-- then withdrawal is non-existent. I remember being in rehab in detox--heroin or oxy shooters what have you would ***** about how sick they were and this is while they were on subs or methadone.. haha.. such ********. I've done it all and there is no being sick while your receptors are constantly being filled.
801188_tn?1241651226 So I try to tell her that I am taking diarolyte, about 3 times a day plus I'm drinking lots of the sports drinks that are full of carbs and salts AND taking supplements for mineral/salt depletion (calcium/magnesium liquid blah etc.) But she's not interested in that - no you're no taking enough diarolyte. Then she chastises me for not coming to see her sooner, because she says she would have taken a stool sample and go it analysed to see if I need anti-biotics.
Avatar_f_tn OD of Potassium will stop your heart. Therefore, to get enough in pill form requires a prescription. 99 Mgs equals about 3% of our RDA. So, as much as it stinks, you have to eat or drink ( protein shakes) to get enough. Unless you take the whole bottle. Which you can't of course. Hope that makes sense!
Avatar_n_tn When you get a charley horse, massages, stretching, warm baths, and ice are all generally recommended (although none are scientifically proven to work). Those who want relief in pill form can try vitamin B12 supplements." I've had this under the left breast pain for 10 days now and although the intensity of the pain varies it hasn't totally gone away at any time. I'll be trying the suggested muscle cramp remedies to see if they can provide some lasting relief.
Avatar_m_tn I want to know about it as much as possible, so i can tell when he's on it, what it looks like in liquid form ect...I found in his filters, a thing to snort it, and crushed pills. I know it doesnt COME in liquid form, but somehow he turns it into a liquid and drinks it.
Avatar_f_tn I also asked for a complete copy of my chart and I signed a release form. Out of all the times I went in and complained about the amount of pain the treatments were causing me and the weight gain, only one nurse had documented complaints about weight gain. No one had ever documented the amount of pain the treatments were causing me. I had to go back a week ago and get measurements.
Avatar_n_tn Most but not all patients will describe a feeling of tension or stiffness in the cranial muscles, especially in the forehead.
Avatar_f_tn I would probably ask for an increase in your patch and maybe moving to a liquid form of the percocet, because if you need it that many times a day, your probably not really getting the full dose and from what I've read the liquid form should be absorbed better, which should give you better pain control. Good luck, let me know how your appointment goes.
1395180_tn?1280363996 You call getting on methadone getting "cleaned up?" Ha Ha, your taking the same substance (heroin) just in synthetic man-made form! Know wonder you feel "wonderful" and back to normal! Ive been trying to shake methadone addiction for 12 years without luck and coming off of it, is the worse feeling in the world that maybe only heroin users can relate to.
Avatar_n_tn I think most people just refer to that stregnth of pill has a Lortab and that is why it is commonly thought to only come in 10 mg form. I believe wikipedia has a listing of the trademarks under the listing lists a few of the different brand names.
Avatar_n_tn oxycontin is a controlled release form of oxycodone comes as 10,20,40,80 and 160 . also oxycodone comes in 5 mg ir caps liquid 1mg and 20mg/ml po sol and tabs not ir or er 5 mg 15 mg and 30 mg .
Avatar_m_tn Doses of tylenol ranged from 325/500/750 and asprin i'm not sure (Assume only 200mg but I have no clue. They come in liquid suspension and tablet form and rarley without a tylenol/asprin additive. I'm taking percocet which is a whole different Active ingrediant. From my experience a lot more dangerous than hydrocodone. Its approx. 1.5x stronger than lortab in analgesia terms.
898696_tn?1241803523 The also gave me amoxicillin in liquid form as an antibiotic for my tonsils. Well 1-2days after taking the medication every 4hrs, as well as antibiotics my legs cleared up 90%. I was astonished! because I had never seen them clear and smooth with only scars visible. I don't know what to make of it though of how this happened? I haven't had the urge to itch them at all or have irritation. So..My question is: what do you think is affecting my folliculitis (pseudo)?
Avatar_f_tn The timing of treatment is most important and is very effective if given at the start of attack. Simple painkillers taken in soluble or liquid form so that they are absorbed faster. Suppositories are preferred since nausea or vomiting is a problem. Co-codamol contains paracetamol and codeine with antisickness medicine buclizine. Other combinations of pain killers with anti sickness medicines like domperidone and metoclopramide.
Avatar_n_tn Yes! The quick realse morph helps, my doc gave it to me in liquid form - I didn't like that because when I was out and about I didn't have time to measure so, I'd just tip the bottle and guestimate (I think I'd under guestimate because I'd always run out.) I'd did notice that after 8mos of percocet the being trans to morph that it mellowed me out more I was able to sleep better but I missed that burst of energy that I got from the percs. My main suggestion is take as perscribed.
Avatar_n_tn Some folks do well on Coumadin, others can not tolerate it. If you are afraid of Coumadin, but want something that will help thin the blood, I would suggest the herb "Ginger" this can be purchased in pill form, and it has the same blood thinning properties as aspirin WITHOUT the side effects. Since it appears your A-Fib is not constant I think I would go this route first, oh yes, also, a good, liquid fish oil would keep the blood slippery and clot free.
417564_tn?1287986427 You must replenish and exceed that. When purchasing vitamins, etc., make sure they are liquid, chewable, soft gel or injectable as most addicts (definately opiate/methadone users) gut does not function properly. CalMag & NaturalCalm we drink this 4-5 times daily getcanadiangrugs.
5051252_tn?1362973968 I didn't have panic attacks per say but I developed SUCH an aversion to taking pills after I got clean that I wouldn't take anything for months. I ended up getting all my vitamins in liquid or powdered form because the act of swallowing pills made me nauseous. I got over it the further I got into my recovery. Now I take like, 30 different pills a day (mainly vitamins and supplements) I HATE it because it's a pain trying to remember it all and travelling is a bi*ch.
388261_tn?1215403444 If you can find this in liquid form, GET IT, and take it in tea, water, etc. Peppermint oil stimulates and counters insomnia, shock, mental fogginess, and lack of focus. Stimulating the mind and calming the nerves makes peppermint oil ideal as a physical tonic and emotional soother. For anti-depressants: A very potent root, St.
Avatar_n_tn Hey Jen, hope it's ok to call you jen. In my opinion it helps to be very educated on different dugs and exactly how they work on the brain, which receptor sites types of drugs bind to. Being that you were a heroin addict and an oxy addict you've been increasing endorphins in your brain. Any opiate is going to do the same and be just about as addictive just some stronger than others. oxycodone is a very potent opiate, hydrocodone is also a very potent opiate more potent than even codeine.
544292_tn?1268886268 This is like poison leaving thru sinuses, but then turning around to but me in the A$$, in the form of bronchitis. I was ready for it. I'm all stocked up, because it has happened before. Just have to e aggressive abut the physical medicine. Lots of VICKS, hot steam .... and NO exertion which would push the bacteria deeper into the lobes of the lungs! And how are all of the rest of my Trama-Poison friends doin this fine evening? Everyone hanging in there? It's freaking poison. They lied!
Avatar_n_tn I have been a Hospice nurse for 17 years so I know my pain meds very well. MS Contin stands for Morphine Sulfate Continued release,(that is where the Contin comes from) oxycodone is percocet, tylox or the generic for oxycodone and tyenol. Oxycontin is oxycodone but it is in the form of Continued release, that is again where the "Contin" comes from in the name.
Avatar_n_tn I have been taking Percocet by prescription since 8/00 for a pain in my upper side. My doc tried just about everything before he let me hsve the Percs. Ibuprofen, Zanaflex, Flexeril, Imiprimine, Etodolac, Prednisone, Vicodan, Napoxen, Ultram...We tried a TENS unit, CT scan, Xrays, bone scan and most recently a nerve block injection from an anastesiologist. Everything looks normal but the pain is still there. Since last Aug I have taken around 525 doses (5mg) of Percocet.
460948_tn?1232305722 ' Oxycontin and percocet are bot oxycodone same drug, (Percocet is fast acting, Oxycontin is a time released med) oxycodone is percocet without the aceteminophen or less of it) you can check Wikipedia, just look up oxycontin, and there will be Percocet. So if you take Percocet, you are not stopping oxycodone. Good Luck!
535089_tn?1400677119 I wanted to point out that the bioavailability of liquid IV dilaudid is much higher than the pill form. So 2 mg in pill form will not feel nearly as strong as 2 mg in IV form. So any time you are in the hospital, you may even need less of a dose than what you take in pill form, because it takes less of the liquid for to work.
