percocet

Avatar n tn t work for pain I can barely do my job as a cashier without it causing more pain and difficulty breathing.
Avatar n tn Hi and welcome to MedHelp. I also take percocet along with neurontin (gabapentin). The gabapentin is very similar to lyrica. I drink coffee 4-5 days per week and I haven't encountered any issues and I have been on percocet for almost a year and gabapentin for almost 2 years. I don't think there are any severe reactions when coffee is mixed with percocet or lyrica or both.
Avatar f tn In retrospect, there is no way that the drain on its own could have caused so much pain--pain that was so bad I had to take percocet. They gave me heavy-duty antibiotics and, fingers crossed, will be better soon--at least almost all of the pain has gone.
Avatar m tn He/she would also then be able to give you treatment, which of course would help. Abdominal pain is pretty much a blank slate for doctors, as the diagnosis could be anything.
674904 tn?1226071882 I had been having pain for a few days in my lower right abdomen. I went to the hospital when I couldn't tolerate it anymore. Went through the CAT scans, sonograms, etc to find out that I had 1 ruptured overian cyst and 1 still remaining. I was given percocet and sent home to follow up with my personal doctor. A week later, the pain was so accute that I could not even walk. It had spread into my back and was the worse pain I had ever suffered.
Avatar n tn Hoping someone else may have similar symptoms and be able to point me in the right direction for the next step, because my doctor has been all but useless. Symptoms have varied since starting so I'll try to cover everything by going chronologically. The most consistent symptom is persistent pain in upper abdomen, centered just below my ribcage but radiating in various directions at different times, most commonly to the back.
Avatar f tn I would suggest you get back into your family doctor and get a copy of the report (then you can look at the health pages on the top right and learn more about what you are dealing with and post questions here) and ask him for something for the pain. I had awful pain with mine and my doctor gave me percocet. You can try Motrin but I don't know if it will be enough to help. Good luck with everything and keep us posted.
Avatar f tn Hi. I have been having massive chest pain for 6 weeks which started along with shortness of breath which has gone away, and am now having pain where my gallbladder is located (1 of 3 ultrasounds I had show polyps in it).I had an endoscopy 2 weeks ago and was told I have chronic inactive gastritis. I have lesions in my stomach as well as my esophagus, I have been vomiting up blood and have had a small amount in my stool.
Avatar n tn I feel sick to my stomach, very dizzy, and I usually end up vomiting or having dry heaves (not fun when you have abdominal stitches for a gallbladder extraction.) They didn't help much with the pain either and I decided the pain was preferable to the side effects of the drugs.
Avatar f tn Abdominal noise daily. More so when laying down. No pain but very rare I have a bloating feeling in my stomach. Poop is not long pieces anymore, comes out in smaller chunks for years now. This noise started maybe 1 year or so ago. I started taking a variety of supplements that help in digestive health and functionality, also a multi vitamin and a probiotic. Which seemed to help a little, I sure do feel healthier since starting the regiment.
905378 tn?1244854365 This time she stayed unconcious longer. She has had alot of abdominal pain today. If you could all pray for her strength and for her pain to go away. Her name Is Josefa and she has ovarian cancer stage IIIC.
Avatar n tn I started taking pain meds about a year and a half ago. I've been diagnosed with endomitriosis, along with excesive scar tissue from multiple abdominal surgeries. They started me off with lorcet, and kicked me up to percocet 10/650 about 8 months ago. I've felt withdraw symptoms for a while now, but I was waiting for another surgery. I'm 4 weeks post op now, and finally said I can't live pill to pill anymore. My question is how long does this take?
1452423 tn?1286201638 I have been having low abdominal pain and low back pain for over a month now, had a pelvic ultrasound done and they tell me it is normal.....uterus slightly enlarged, small amount of fluid in cul d sac and ovarys enlarged with follicle cysts on both. Sometimes my pain is so bad I can not stand up straight....the last couple of days it has been hurting just to sit down.....I am on painkillers (percocet), wondering if I could have endometriosis?
Avatar m tn I am about to have surgery on my foot Tuesday and am scared nothing will work for pain as I am currently taking 60 milligrams of Methadone daily for maintenance. He was going to prescribe me Percocet but am also afraid he will not give me anything because I'm on a program. If he does, will Percocet even work? What would be a good dosage for me? Can anyone help me here? I truly appreciate your time. Thanks a bunch!
Avatar n tn I have had pain in my lower right pelvis that has been getting progressively worse for 6 months. I went to my family Dr. and they sent me for an abdominal/transvaginal ultrasound. The ultrasound showed a complex right hemorhagic ovarian cyst, a left septated cyst, and 2 uterine fibroids, and mild fluid in the cul de sac and endometrial cavity. I was referred to the gynecologist. He did a repeat ultrasound and found no fluid or cyst on the left ovary.
Avatar n tn can i take 2 advils and half a percocet for dental pain?
Avatar n tn Percocet is a strong, habit forming, opiate medication. It is prescribed for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. It should never be used in any other way, for any other reason, unless there was some unusual circumstance that your doctor dictated the usage of Percocet for some other purpose. The BEST thing to do, always, if you're having an issue, or problems with your medications, is to discuss the options with your doctor.
Avatar f tn I am afraid I may have to live with this for the rest of my life. I am taking oxycodone (Percocet) and Ibuprofen for the pain. Any advice out there?
2079321 tn?1333662977 Within 2 months I had taken pain pills for 5 weeks and was fine when I stopped, those nurses were right. Taking pain pills for real pain is far safer than for a recreational high. A few weeks after the tooth pain was gone I had 12 Percocet left and decided to have a few 'fun' weekends getting a little buzzed hear & there and felt some withdrawal after. What a great lesson in how great pain pills are for real pain, and how horrible they are when abused.
11214965 tn?1416269155 The fentanyl patch is meant for people who have chronic pain and are tolerant to opioids. When the percocet stops working and you need multiple dose escalations, your doctor may suggest changing to a long-active / extended release opioid analgesic, like Duragesic. There's another problem with Percocet -- it contains tylenol, and too much tylenol can stress or even damage your liver.
Avatar m tn I have been taking 5/325 mg percocet 5-6 times a day for 2-3 years of course it was half of a half a pill for ay ear as needed, couldnt even take a whole made me so sick, but of course your body gains a tolerance to the drug and am now up to current levels, I have painful bladder syndrome also known as Intercystial cystitis. I am a recovering crackhead/alcoholic and was in recovery for 16 years, then had to start taking meds due to awful bladder pain.
Avatar f tn I just hope she will give me something less mild like Tramadol for daily use and then also prescribe percocet for the break through pain as needed. Although, my luck she will just tell me to take IB Profin. Fingers crossed she is understanding. My medical records are quite clear that pain meds are a necessity at this point. Thanks again.
