I was clean for almost 19 months and had surgery this week. During my hospital stay, they provided me Lortab Elixir and Percocet elixir when I was sent home. I didn't think about my addiction at all and just went with the flow...meaning I didn't need the med every 4 hours and since leaving almost 3 days ago, only used the med twice.
The cool thing now is having an acute awareness of how bad things could get if you let them...
I'm in excruciating pain and lortab elixir is the only med that really helps with my pain. Does anyone out there have any or can get some? My dr won't write me a script for it cuz I'm taking lortab pills. Someone please help. I've considered going to an online pharm and tdying to buy but too scary. If anyone can help me.
I meant false lip ring... I was told to use benedryll elixir... Is that what I should be taking to get rid of this.. Ive had this for a month now.
I have been prescribed lortab elixir. At the moment I am in a lot of pain and can only tolerate chilled liquids. Can I refrigerate or freeze the lortab?

Did you drink the elixir with a straw? I've not heard about it staining the tongue, but it wouldn't surprise me. I've always been taught to always take it with a straw! If you used a straw then I would definitely recommend calling the doctor that prescribed it.
One other think that I'm not sure if you already know, if you take the iron with orange juice your body will absorb it better.

m percocet addict so I sure do understand the hold these devils have on a person. Its like heroin in pill if you ask me. I can't believe it but I've been off them a year and you can do it too! I think you should be completely honest with your doctor. He will understand, not be shocked and will help you through this. He cannot write your condition on a sick note because it violates doctor patient confidentiality laws . Its strickly between you and him. Don't be scared.
I don`t know if percocet is like darvecet by the physical part took a good week to get past cold turkey. The mental part is alittle harder. but you can definatley do this!! Today is day 48 for me and this site will help you ALOT!
I'm I having withdrawl or not I stopped taking percocet 40 hrs ago and lying in bed tonight my hands and shoulders were aching so bad I was tossing and turning I got up and took 2 10's Percocet and 1 10 Oxycontin and now I'll spend the rest of the night in my recliner , The question is, is my pain a reaction to stopping the Percocet . I have been trying to get off percocet. It started out bu just taking it here and there. But now I am up to 8-10 a day and Its all I think about. I buy off the strret. My doctor doesn't even know. Hello!! I also abused Percocet. You are early in your withdraw...it is going to take some time. The first week is pure hell I'm not going to sugar coat it. You will get through this!!!!!i am on day 19 today and still dealing with issues. After the first 7 days the physical withdraws will subside quite a bit. Stock up on items in the Thomas recipe...they will help!!!! How much and how long were you taking the percs? Stay strong and good luck to you!!
