I've had long standing back problems. to make a long story short. I was taking vicoden for long time, found myself very depressed and angry, at everyone and everything. Thought it was bad depression, (I do suffer from). Anyways, I've stopped the vicoden, and now on Percocet and Nuerontin, and Ibuprofen. My mood has changed. I seem not to be so depressed, etc. I am happy once again, I go out of the house, do more with family, husband, friends, etc.

I will be planning to have a child in about a year and want to know if Percocet has any effects on genes or cells that could cause problems for a fetus to properly develop. Should I have some type of test to determine if nothing is damaged due to the long term use of taking them.

will gabapentin help with percocet withdrawals. I have been taking perks for about 2 months and I ran out of them and don't want to buy them off the street. I want to detox from them but I can't stand the withdrawals and was told that gabapentin will help with the withdrawals. how true is this?

Do you know if Lupron injection for prostate cancer can cause a false negative on a urine drug test my doctor gave me to make sure I am taking my Percocet. t have to take it as often(usually every 12 hours). Oxycodone is faster release. Percocet is oxycodone but it also comes stronger. Does she have a history of drug dependence?

yea taper is the best method, three weeks clean now and i did a fast taper which relieved some symptoms of wd's which actually helped a lot. If he does a taper the right way he will be just fine but yea there are some residual effects after words that go away that he will just have to deal with. but i'll tell you after being on them for 2 years you actually become high on life and its really enjoyable to be normal again after so long.

Percocet has oxycodone in it rather than the hydrocodone in Vicodin. Oxycodone is stronger than hydrocodone. In my experience, the oxy worked better and I had less side effects (upset stomach and "dumb" feeling).
