percocet

Avatar n tn hi if you Google this exactly it gives you all the common and rare side effects of percocet.
600857 tn?1230057770 I've had long standing back problems. to make a long story short. I was taking vicoden for long time, found myself very depressed and angry, at everyone and everything. Thought it was bad depression, (I do suffer from). Anyways, I've stopped the vicoden, and now on Percocet and Nuerontin, and Ibuprofen. My mood has changed. I seem not to be so depressed, etc. I am happy once again, I go out of the house, do more with family, husband, friends, etc.
Avatar f tn That was my worst side effect. I couldn't bear it. and I had insomnia! I took sleeping pills but they did nothing, it was terrible, just terrible. I knew I had a problem when I was so tired even two weeks after stopping the pills.
1442059 tn?1340240952 I am on week one treating type A and feeling really bad side effects. I feel almost ready to do something drastic. I called the psychologist at the clinic and she said that the side effects are worse in the first week. Is this true? Or am I looking at 48wks of feeling so sick I can hardly walk and feeling like my head is going to explode never mind the crazy emotional stuff talk about the blues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don;t know if I can even tolerate this.
176495 tn?1301280412 I have been on percocet and oxycodone for over 10 years and have not experienced any vision problems but some medications effect some people differently... Maybe if someone took more than prescribed then they would experience vision issues...
4753943 tn?1359934569 Yes it really has been hell and I had no idea how hard it was going to be. That is why I am telling you to do it very slowly. There is no hurry for this. It's not a drug that you abuse, like you said, you forget to take it and it's the withdrawal feeling that makes you remember. Just worry about the vicodin right now and then continue with the Effexor later when you feel better from the vicodin. I don't want to see you suffer like I did sweety.
Avatar m tn When I was on narcotics - hydrocodne or oxycodone - or anything else for that matter - I would often times get kind of hyper while on them. Many times, I would also have difficulty sleeping, I found that my mind was racing a lot. However, one of the side effects from narcotics is also "nodding off" - so sometimes it does not make sense that you would not be able to sleep. I can't explain it, but I also could not sleep. Are you still in pain?
Avatar m tn i am starting off taking lithium and percocet and ativan,,,what kind of side effects can i expect...depakote caused me to gain 30 lbs over the last 6 months!! nd it caused hair thinning and loss!
Avatar f tn I read that the films are 30% stronger?could that be a reason? Also, I got scared/tired of the side effects and got my percocet prescription filled and now worried that I might get in trouble? But I have also read that a person can get suboxones filled and their pain meds filled, is this true? And what about being being put on subitex, could it be the naxolone giving me the bad side effects? Thank you for your time!
Avatar n tn I have a couple questions concerning possibly having a tummy tuck done. I have 3 children and we are considering a fourth in the next year and a half. With each pregnancy, my abdomen has become more stretched and I'm left with an "overhang" or an "apron" of tissue no matter how many toning exercises I do.
Avatar f tn The reason for my posting is that I have started in the last little while noticing some real bad side effects. The one I have been bothered with the most is sexual and it is starting to effect my wife. I used to have such a high sexual drive more than the normal but now nothing and the worst part is that when we do have sex I have a very hard time reaching orgasms. Sometimes I don't at all and my wife is starting to take it personal as any women would.
202665 tn?1248806733 I take opana and percocet for pain then At night I take 2mg xanax + 4mg zanaflex + 20mg ER opana + ambien cr + lyrica . sometimes I sleep for a straight 5 or 6t hourss but if i don't catch that 'window' I'm up all hours of the night a lot!
Avatar f tn But none of them prepared me for the harsh reality of the nasty side effects this horrible drug leaves you with. This is my personal experience and I hope I can help people understand what to expect when getting clean from opiates. First let me say, prepare for at least 5 days of feeling horribly sick, but it is not impossible to get through it. I warn you now that I am holding nothing back, these descriptions may be very graphic and disterbing.
527890 tn?1263783127 As for medications I remain uncertain about taking narcotics because of addictive potential and side effects (constipation) and I do not take a liken to withdraw symptoms very well. If you’re taking Percocet for years then I wonder the dosage and if mixed with Acetaminophen as I believe this helps to prevent drug abuse. If straight Percocet, (Oxycodone) for years then I hope you are not suffering from drug addiction.
Avatar f tn I am sorry I am not much of help on this subject. I only had percocet prescribe to me after my c-section. My doctor knew I was going to nurse, so I can't imagine that they would have given me something that would have harmed my baby through nursing. I am not sure if this is the same with being pregnant. But like you said, your doctor would not doing anything to harm your baby. Is this something you would take daily or just as needed?
Avatar f tn She does not appear to even know the side effects. The pharmacist is constantly calling her to verify what she is prescribing as it will counteract with what I am already taking. At times she will call me from her home at night and tell me not to take a medication after earlier telling the pharmacist it was ok to take it with the new medication she prescribed.
Avatar n tn I have researched every where and cannot find a clear cut answer as to how long it will take to feel the effects of the percocet.... I just do not want to be in pain. Some people (Rph) have said that its up to 17days?? and others i have read say 36-48hrs. Please help? I would like to know so I can stop the suboxone when/if necessary.
Avatar f tn I would go with the oxycodone (percocet) over the hydrocodone (vicodin), because it's possible to get the oxycodone in it's pure form in a pill without the tylenol in it. The -cet suffix on the percocet is what denotes the acetominophen or Tylenol. In the generic form, it would give the mg strength of the pill (ie, 5/500) and then say APAP on the label.
Avatar f tn Then weigh the pros and cons and make an educated decision. And you can always fill the Rx and just hold on to it in case regular Tylenol doesn't help.
Avatar n tn http://www.webmd.com/drugs/drug-7277-Percocet+Oral.aspx?drugid=7277&drugname=Percocet+Oral&pagenumber=6 Also, Percocet has a severe potential hazard to your liver. Here's information from http://drugs.com website: Acetaminophen (Including Percocet) is primarily metabolized in the liver to inactive forms. However, small quantities are converted by minor pathways to metabolites that can cause hepatotoxicity or methemoglobinemia.
