percocet and red bull

Hi i drink red-bull about 4 times a week to stay up for homework or to give myself a boost. Is redbull not good for someone with bipolar?

I have been using Subutex for 2 months since I found out I was pregnant (now 4 months). I went to detox and was referred to a OB here in KY who could prescribe Subutex. I went today for my weekly appointment and was told my drug screen from last week came back positive for Amphetamines! I have NEVER used amphetamines, Percocet was my drug of choice. I am also taking wellbutrin, robitussin, vicks inhaler, and vistaril.

As Amber said...The answer is no. Your caffine intake should be limited when pregnant and Red Bull is LOADED with caffine and sugar.

Is it ok to drink a red bull drink from a espresso stand or not safe? Is it just because the caffeine or other ingredients?

Red Bull contains caffeine, taurine, glucuronolactone, B-group vitamins, sucrose, and glucose In the last 3 weeks I had a few cans of Red Bull, maybe one can every third - forth day. It really help me tremendoulsy with the headaches. For me it works like this: headache leads to severe nausea and throwing up. 20 min after a Red Bull headache is gone, hence no nausea.

Yall...I made it out the door and got to work on time...I bought a red bull last night and drank it when i got up...dont like them but it sure perked me up! I think I am getting better with this cold too...a moderate energy day....but I do have energy!

Thomas, Red was referring to just BULL DOGS...he and my daughter both have and they break out under their chins and paws. Is the Benadryl the human form? avail at pharmacies?

Red Bull contains caffeine which improves focus and attention. However, prescription medications are generally far more effective than Red Bull for ADHD.

so i stopped drinking red bull and the vomiting stopped. i've been on a crazy schedule lately, working 18+ a day and drinking energy drinks to stay awake. i guess the combination of red bull and cigarettes was causing it.

Ya I'd try coffee. The red Bull doesn't just have caffeine. It has taurine, b 12 and a ton of other stuff. I'm sure your half a can is totally fine but not great for you. I know I have been craving them. My husband's drinks them and they smell so good but won't touch them.

Also, drink 5 hr energy drinks and red bull every few hours for energy. Tell co-workers you are having a bad allergy attack to mask the symptoms --tears, sneezing, shakes, chills, etc etc. It will take 100 hours to have the pain and symptoms lift - it seems like forever but when you start feeling somewhat normal again --its great. But there is a depression issue for a few weeks later, but it wasn't that bad for me. It came and went fast.

red bull and bipolar are a no no , to much coffee is the same , don't your docs tell you anything . I am boarder line bipolar 2 , and manic don't happen much . but Bipolar 1 get to manic and the hospital zoo will be your next trip .

I AM STARTING ON THE PHENTERMINE PILLS AND I WAS JUST CURIOUS IF ANYONE HAS DRANK ENERGY DRINKS, (RED BULL, MONSTER, ETC...) WHILE USING PHENTERMINE AND IF SO DID THIS INCREASE THE EFFECTS IN A STRANGE WAY? I JUST DO NOT WANT TO CHANCE IT IF THAT IS THE CASE. ANY RESPONSES WILL BE APPRICIATED.

I'm in the same situation as you... Done it all... I haven't heard of red bull, but I already drink a cup of coffee and a soda everyday plus I don't really like energy drinks...

Red Bull is currently under investigation and may be taken off shelves completely. It's not good when you're NOT pregnant. So definitely do not take it while pregnant.

You can try some natural remedies, drink pure grape juice and a red bull, the caffine in the red bull helps and the grape juice is a vasoconstrictor.(hope I spelled it right) also use warm or cool compresses whichever feels better. If you try those and it doesn't help go to the er. Hope u feel better soon.

Barbarella has some good advice for you, you should follow it. Use Condoms and trash the birth control pills. I would add the red bull is not helping you either. Eat whole grain cereal with two percent milk. Also never eat white bread, never. Use wheat or multi grain.

Well i have been red flagged, as told by my dentist, and im wondering what it means(other than bad, and no meds) what does it mean to be red flagged? How long does it last? And what do i do for meds now? Please help.

Only problem I have now is I have a job where I go to work at 4 am. I need my caffeine to wake up at 2am! Will 1 sugar free Red Bull effect the results of my lab that I'll have drawn 4-5 hours later? My job is very physical, so I burn a lot of calories. I walk between 15,000 to 17,000 steps within 4 hours everyday.
