I do believe that my digestion has been sped up, and I believe the Erythromycin sped up the Percocet in my body and essentially made it as if I overdosed. I tried talking to a pharmacist about this, but she said the Percocet would have stayed in my body for a longer period of time, not run through it faster. I don't believe this is the case, though, because after an hour and a half all of my pain was back again. My heart calmed, I stopped shaking, and I was in pain.

I have heard of people itching from taking narcotics but not the rash part. If your doctor is not sure try your pharmacist, they should k ow or maybe it's an interaction with another prescription and not the ibuprofen.

I'm on zoloft and I sometimes take my moms vicodin/percocet for pain and I'm just wondering is it safe to take these combinations together? Basically: Zoloft+Vicodin= safe? Zoloft+Percocet= safe? Will the Vicodin or Percocet decrease the effects of the Zoloft? OR can it cause permanent brain damage? I took 2 Vicodin's a couple days ago and then took 1 Zoloft pill an hour later and I started to feel weird/loopy. Could I have caused permanent brain damage?

The label on my bottle says to not take the tenofovir with ibuprofen. Ive never heard of a Percocet 30mg, but Percocet and Oxycontin are not the same thing...I believe that Oxycontin is time released while Percocet is not...please someone correct me if Im wrong...hope this helps!

I am currently taking percocet as a break through med with morphine sustained release. I didn't have a choice on what I could take for breakthrough medicine. I don't take more than 1950 mg of tylenol per day via the percocet. I think the percocet and the vicodin puts a "cap" on how much a person can take before destroying their liver. My doctor has been very trustworthy of me but always wants me to stay on these combo meds.

Oh, by the way, you can take ibuprofen along with the percocet even though the percocet already has tylenol in it, because ibuprofen and acetominophen are able to be taken together. Just don't take more tylenol along with it, because that will be too much tylenol and it could damage your liver.

Ibuprofen and such tends to give me stomach pain and I've been On ibuprofen for years. Heat helps but just for the 30 sex or so the heat is applied. Other than that nothing.

I had my lap done on tuesday (march 22nd). I've been taking percocet every 4 hours and the 600 mg ibuprofen every 6 hours. I'm still having pain but I am feeling better as time goes on. Here is the easiest way to look at it, (i think?) ... Percocet has tylenol in it, however, oxycodone and oxycontin are just straight percocet, no tylenol. I believe that oxycodone is the generic name for Roxicodone, which is also obviously percocet without the tylenol. Oxycontin and oxycodone are the same thing, EXCEPT oxycodone is a quick release tablet, and oxycontin is a slow release of the same med. Hydrocodone is the ingredient in Vicodin and Lortab.

Now that my pain has lessened, I only take it at night because it makes me fall asleep almost instantly. Physical therapy is painful and ibuprofen doesn't help much, but I dont want to take percocets during the day so my dr gave me a prescription for 50mg tramadol, which I have never used before. My body aches have intensified in severity and and frequency in the past few weeks and since Tylenol doesn't work for me, I was taking Ibuprofen 2 to 3 times a day and it started getting to the point where my stomach felt kind of raw when I'd take it. I told my doctor about this and he told me that he didn't want me taking Ibuprofen more than once a day. He wrote me a prescription for Ultram which says it is for moderately severe pain.

After that, you just get Tylenol or ibuprofen, unless you had a csection or other complication, they may give you percocet. You can get tylenol and ibuprofen in liquid or chewable tablets as well.

I also take fiorocet which has tylenol in it but I do not know off hand about the barbituate and how that would react with the ibuprofen at that dosage so check it out if you haven't already or for future reference.

Went back to dr for follow up,wanted to give me Tylenol 3 and flexiril. I went back to ER got another shot of dilaudid and a Percocet then had a pain management dr appt next day. Went there here perscribed dilidid and a muscle relaxer. Not working. I'm switching back and forth to Percocet. I also have norco I've thrown in a couple times. Help!?
