2103516 tn?1350948515 There are some otc meds that can really make us loopy. Make sure you read all the side effects. I know l-tyrosine is recommended for energy often but even that can create anxiety. Also if you are on certain anti-depressants you shouldn't take it. Just google everything before you take it lol.

Avatar f tn Hello and welcome to the forum, I always crave coffee when I am clean. I crave soddas every once in a while but it mostly just the coffee. There are a lot of that won't drink caffeine because it gets their anxiety up and although I love coffee now, when I am going through through the w/ds I also don't want any part of it. Guess it is subjective.
Avatar n tn Try staying away from any products with caffeine and sugars and drink chamomile teas through out..It will help you replacing fluids and take a bit of the edge from anxiety. A bit of walking helps and so as warm baths. Wish you good luck!

Avatar f tn It started a little more than a year ago when I first started experiencing acute irritable bowel like symptoms and being in college I did not agree with the symptoms at all and after struggling with my anxiety medication, I turned to percocet. I could do a bump of a 30 mg pill and feel good for 5 hours and now it takes a half. Its kind of scary when I look at the correlations.
Avatar f tn The best thing you can do is take good care of yourself, eat healthy food, stay hydrated, keep active and busy. Stay away from sugar, soda, and simple carbs. Do not consume caffeine at least 6 hours prior to bedtime. You will be feeling better before you know it. Best wishes to you.

1615943 tn?1410627667 Tylenol 3 is a combination of acetaminophen, codeine and caffeine. Usually codeine like other opioids and derivative is associated with dizziness, unlike in your case where sleep is missing. Possibly effect of caffeine or due to excessive stress prior to surgery. This may increase the anesthetic requirements during surgery. You could visit the hospital tomorrow and anti anxiety, medicines could be prescribed which can allay anxiety preoperatively. Try to take it easy and all the best.
Avatar n tn Hi and welcome to MedHelp. I also take percocet along with neurontin (gabapentin). The gabapentin is very similar to lyrica. I drink coffee 4-5 days per week and I haven't encountered any issues and I have been on percocet for almost a year and gabapentin for almost 2 years. I don't think there are any severe reactions when coffee is mixed with percocet or lyrica or both.
Avatar f tn Tylenol. My doctor also said benadryl and try drinking caffeine.

You may also take a look at my clinic website where I also have my blogs and a lot of other info about drug addiction and recovery. Look especially into the blog and the info on Naltrexone therapy after getting clean.
Avatar m tn To calm nerves have a camomile tea. Try to avoid caffeine. I would talk to your doctor about withdrawals. Try to work out and that will make you sleep better. Good luck and congrats on your being sober.

Avatar m tn On the phone they asked what I was taking and I rambled off some of them like flexeril and motrin and they interrupted me. They ask if I was taking any anti-depressants. But they never said what they were looking for specifically. They aren't discriminating. They asked for a list of prescriptions from my doctor so they can approve my test.
Avatar f tn I'm on day 10 of withdrawling off percocet and I can't stop filling up with this uncomfortable stomach acid... Green and yellow. I've tried Prilosec, tums, and drinking tons of water. What should I do? Also what food do you suggest I try eating?
Avatar f tn I only started taking percocet yesterday, after suffering for 4 days with severe pain. I had tried everything, NSAIDS, hot wet compresses, I went for massages 4 days in a row! I'm going to have to go back and get an MRI, but in the meantime, I need to take the percocets. I just don't know if I should continue taking the subs while I am on the percocet. I want off the subs really bad, but I only got 15 percs and I don't know how long it will take me to get another Dr appt.

Avatar f tn Hi, I am on 50mg of Zoloft and I can't have caffeine. It is very tricky for me to avoid caffeine being that I'm not sure what has caffeine and what doesn't. Is there a list of common everyday foods and drinks that do not have caffeine in them?
Avatar f tn t live without my coffee, went from 3-4 cups a day to one in the morning. And here and there have a soda...as long as they are not the only things you drink all day every day I was told it's not a big deal.
435139 tn?1255460391 I know chocolate has caffeine, and the piece I had on Sunday to take home was cut into four seven inch in length by 3 inches wide pieces (it was a tall layered cake with peanut butter in between the three layers!). I had one piece yesterday and another today then my grandmother freaked me out! I know I shouldn't eat cake while pregnant...no nutrients, unhealthy etc. etc. BUT do you really think it has a lot of caffeine and that I could have hurt my developing baby? Thanks!
Avatar f tn I have trouble concentrating and become dizzy easily. For those who have the same issue, do you find it difficult to tolerate caffeine and does it worsen your symptoms? It seems like it does not matter how much water or Gatorade I consume if I have a diet coke I feel bad the rest of the day. I'm tired of feeling bad!
432737 tn?1358549432 Hi. My husband and I of three years are trying to conceive our first child. I am a healthy 27 year old at a good weight and good diet. The only bad thing is I'm pretty hooked on caffeine. I don't drink coffee, but I do drink one Sugar Free Rockstar energy drink per day, which has 160 mg of caffeine. Since TTC, Ive cut down it down so that this one energy drink is the only caffeine drink I have each day (stopped drinking caffeinated sodas on the side and replacing with water, juice, etc.
Avatar m tn The fresh ground coffee will be much stronger and contain more caffeine. You can buy caffeine reduced coffee and also dandelion coffee (this contains no caffeine and is a bit of an acquired taste!) Stick to 1 of two cups of coffee in a day and don't drink any caffeinated drinks (that includes fizzy drinks and tea) after early evening. Keep a record of your symptoms so that you can avoid your coffee drink if you want to feel calm and have a good night's sleep.
