hey maybe you can tell me what would be good to take for pain I had ADR surgery 4 years ago, since then they have been switching my meds around and I want to stop taking anything with Tylenol in it. They have me on 30 mg oxycontin, twice daily, 10/325 percocet 6 a day, soma 4 times daily and xanax 2 mg for anxiety.
What are my options for the breakthrough pain, that is what I am taking the percocet for and I need to stop with the Tylenol already enough is enough.
so now a doctor swiched me to percocet 10/325 tylenol and gave me some zantacs. do u think he did a good idead r is he an r -tard. i found no evedince of tylenol causing ulcers or bleeding in the stomach just liver damage if gone over the limit. i hope it helps with my stomach pain. ibeprophen *****.

I been on this for 20 years after having 3 back lower back surg, i was taking 4 morphine and 5 percocet a day with lyrica 150 trazadone 100 and ambien 10 I stopped everything but my morphine for a while until my mom got sick and i had to take care of her and hurt my neck. so I started back taking the percocet but I told my dr i just wanted to take bthem twice a day.
Feeling a lot better , keep going guys , still have that nasty throat thing , I think it is anxiety, my chest feels heavy , now that I stopped pain pills it seems like i am going thru non smoking w/d's , I can't believe that the percocet would mask the w/d's from smoking ,have a naasty cough , anyone else going thru this , still have some diarrhea too
I'm I having withdrawl or not I stopped taking percocet 40 hrs ago and lying in bed tonight my hands and shoulders were aching so bad I was tossing and turning I got up and took 2 10's Percocet and 1 10 Oxycontin and now I'll spend the rest of the night in my recliner , The question is, is my pain a reaction to stopping the Percocet . I've gone through this time and time again only to have the pain over whelm me .
I have been trying to get off percocet. It started out bu just taking it here and there. But now I am up to 8-10 a day and Its all I think about. I buy off the strret. My doctor doesn't even know. I spend about 500 a month. I want to stop but just don't know where to begin. i feel so depressed that Ive let myself get addicted and I just wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions?
I have been on Percocet (10 mg 4 times per day, 1 pill every 4 hours) for about 4 months, before that 3 10mg pills per day. My dr. just switched me to Morphine Sulfate ER 30 MG, 2 tablets per day (one every 12 hours). I'm always nervous when I switch or increase pain meds. I start these new meds tomorrow...can anyone tell me what to expect with regard to how this new medicine may affect me vs. the percocets I've been taking?
It has been 7 yrs., a couple a day and has escalated to 10 - 15/day over the last year.
I have just brought that down to about 7/day in the last two weeks.
I feel so anxious. I am seeing an addiction Doctor, he doen't presribe, just talks. This just started up, once a week.

Well maybe they will pull the formulas for vicodin and percocet how they are now (with 500mgs of APAP in each tablet) but I bet they will come out with a formula with less APAP in them. Vicodin is the #1 most precribed med in America (not just pain med, but ALL meds prescribed) so its doubtful that they will just pull it outright. At least I hope they don't.
Yes I have back problems and a l/knee problems, My Dr gives me 4 ea a Day Percocet 10/325 how many in a 24 hour period can i take without it bothering me as far as too Much, Sometimes I go to bed Hurting so bad that I cant sleep very good at all. I only take them when I hurt but would it be safe to take another one at night to go to bed that would be 5 a Day spaced out over 24 hours, Thanks for yalls advise.
hello, I was taking 10 to 12 10mg percs for about 2 years.last week I decided i'm done dont even get a buzz anymore. i'm down to 3 a day now. wake up feeling rough do 1 hold out to 2pm do 1 then at 7pm do 1. in two days i'm going to 2 a day and so on. is the worst over? which it has been rough. or is 2 a day to zero worse ? thanks for input peace.
i have been taking percocet 15mg for about 3 years and there are many times when i wished i didnt have to take this. Its not neccesarily effecting my way of living but im worried about how long i need to be on this. I have terrible back issues and these are the only meds that allow me to go about my day. when someone is on pain meds for that long is it possible to just detox or am i possibly looking at suboxin because i do look forward to the day that im 100% clean free and clear all the way.
I just find out that my 19 years old son is taking Percocet for about 7 month, on average 5-10 pills per day. None of his closest friends use any type of drug. His friend came to us telling that he needs help asap. We sent him to the residential rehabilitation center next day. He tells me that he is happy to be there, he wants his life back. He is been in rehab for 5 days. Please someone explain to me, is that what he really think? How long should take rehabilitation process for the best result?
Ok, so today is number 10 and feeling better and better!!! I have been out of work due to a disability for about 11 weeks and I go back next Tuesday. .. . . to a job and boss I am not too keen on to say the very least, so am a tad bit worried about the whole "Re-Entry" process. . . but don't have to worry about that today. I am doing my very best to stay busy. . . . for me THAT IS KEY!!!!!

It made me panic quite a bit, so I got on a consultation with a GP and sent him the photo, but just by looking at the photo the GP couldn't tell if it is a chancre or not, because the place is quite unusual as it was not near my anus/gentials.
My last exposure was only 8 days, so my question is can this be a chancre? I understand the incubation period of spyhilis would take 10 days to 2 weeks, but is there any chance that a chancre would appear before that time limit? like in 6-8 days?
