Avatar f tn You mention that you drink green tea. Although green tea is very good, it does contain caffeine. Caffeine is a stimulant and will keep you awake. Don't have any green tea in the evening, to avoid having the caffeine. Drink more water. If you do have something on your mind then that will cause anxiety and hamper sleeping. If you toss and turn and can't drop off, get out of bed and read a book or do something and then go back to bed when you feel tired.
Avatar n tn Before getting pregnant I was doing slimming world and at that time I was drinking Green tea, Herbal tea. I suffer from constipation too and for this I sometimes took Entrolax, Senna leaves. I'm 11wks so far. I'm not doing Slimming world like I used to. Wasn't drinking Green tea and Herbal tea like before. Like usual I was suffering from constipation and ordered Herbal tea. On the package it says it is 100% natural Herbal tea and No Caffeine. It's called Dieters drink.
Avatar f tn Am I able to drink Arizona green tea? I know it's a silly question but better safe then sorry!
535822 tn?1443976780 In complement to vitamins B complex you should consider Spirulina, black Cohosh and siberian ginseng ( if you really want the best thing on the market that contains not only spirulina but many other superfoods go for Green+ powder or SuperFood RX, I do take Green+ and the results are amazing and 3 tea spoon is basically like taking 6 green salad portions. Black Cohosh will help to balance your estrogen level. Physical activity is highly recommended to balance your homones.
Avatar f tn I would ask your dr for some meds for the nausea and sickness if you haven't already. Try to eat some ginger to calm the nausea and peppermint tea will help ease your stomach. Make sure you're taking your prenatal vitamins and maybe try to get some nutrients in liquid form like homemade veggie juices and berry smoothies until you can keep down something more substantial.
Avatar f tn I know pills dont magically make your body lose weight, but I was wondering if they actually do help alttle? I saw these pills have green tea in them and thats suppose to be good. Any advise??
579258 tn?1250649343 I also use a lot of agave nectar. I drink a lot of green (or other flavored) tea (had to quit drinking coffee) and I like the taste of agave nectar for a change of pace. In a pinch, I will use splenda if I run out of both stevia and agave nectar which is rare, or if I'm at a restaurant. Agave nectar can be purchased in the health food section of the grocery store, but I've only found one grocery store that carries stevia. I get it at the health food store.
Avatar f tn Yes, it's a protein drink. Here is more info about the contents: mix1 protein & antioxidant drink has 100mg of green tea polyphenols (equivalent to 4 cups of green tea) and 2.5 grams of heart healthy fat (from extra light olive oil), and can therefore assist in managing pain and inflammation. It also contains 15 grams of whey protein isolate, 23 vitamins & minerals, and 3 servings of fruits and veggies providing a quick and convenient way to get much needed nutrition.
Avatar f tn There are safer sugar substitutes that can certainly prove helpful to one trying to cut back on sugar intake, which isn't good for the diabetes or the kidney issures. The safest alternative is stevia. It can be found in most grocery stores under the name Sweet Leaf. It can also be found in supplement and health food stores. Of all the alternatives out there, this one is rated the safest by natural health experts.
7557112 tn?1399509472 Green tea has a lot of caffeine. Black teas also have a fair amount. If you can find Tetley tea, they have decaffeinated versions of many of their teas (green, earl Greg, chair...) It's excellent.
Avatar f tn And 5-HTP, as an amino acid metabolite, and possibly theanine, as another quasi amino acid found in green tea, are perhaps better taken apart from food while the valerian and passionflower might work better with food. Complicated, no? People just throw these formulas together to make money, but they don't necessarily have a clue how these substances are digested.
1210142 tn?1266077031 Yeah indeed food is always better and way more bioavailable as I encourage here. Isolated vitamins are good too but they are meant for a different usage eg as a tool, when not having the time to eat well, recovery. As for vitamin D3, you won't enough of it from any non-supplemented kind of food. The only way to get efficient D3 (which is not a vitamin but a steroid hormone miscalled a vitamin) is from UVB. Supplementation with enough D3 could compensate a lack of sun exposure.

Avatar f tn You should rest for a few days, go to bed early take daily vitamins high in vitamin D at least 1,000 IU per serving. A cup of green tea made very strong (2 tea bags) 2 times a day for 2 days. Green tea is high in anti oxidants and as a natural anti viral. If its allergies, be sure to take note of any recent changes around the house. Has some one brought in flowers or recent unpacking of old closets or something unknowingly kicking up dust. What about places you go every other day.
Avatar n tn Then just before bed that hot bath or shower, and thiamine (amino acid supplement) or a few cups of strong green or black tea, which is a natural source of thiamine, about 22mg per cup. The calcium and magnesium help calm you, the thiamine helps you sleep. The RLS should pass in a few days on it's own, you weren't taking very much oxycontin to cause anything more than mild wd symptoms, but the vitamins and tea/amino supplements should relieve them.
802086 tn?1237822194 I drink a lot of green tea. I also enjoy other teas, such as peppermint, chamomile, etc - they have no caffeine.
12033218 tn?1423011288 it has alot of valuable health benifits.st johnswort and green tea are also antiviral.vitamin d is something that most people aree deficient in .obviously there are other vitamins that support immune health but d is a key player .it may just be that addingor increasing energy is not the factor wich needs attention.many people take energy drinks and cafinated beverages wich deplete vitamins in the body eventually wich can worsen situations rather than addressing the root cause .

The bottom of my legs ache, feel a little anxious, and feel super tired. And I slept great and felt great yesterday. With the exception of a little energy I've been back to normal the last few weeks. Ive tried vitamins and they made me real anxious, Not taking any now.
299260 tn?1304216105 green tea is not good while TTC or 2ww....green tea absorbs folic acid and other vitamins in our body...leads to iron deficiency too...and the positive aspect is not so raved out so why take a chance...i would say a complete no as folic acid is not only required during preg but even before that...
