pegasys

Avatar m tn Pegassist (Roche Pegasys system): 1-877-734-2797 Commitment to Care (Schering- Plough PEG-Intron system): 1-800-521-7157 The assistance is income rather than asset based; give them a call and see if they can provide help. They will probably want copies of last year’s IRS 1040 forms, along with verification of copay.
1057395 tn?1254367428 My first pegasys and ribaviron was ordered through a local pharmacy at $606 copay for the pegasys and $50 for the ribaviron. I looked on the blue cross blue shield web site and found I could have them sent to me through their preferred pharmacy for a $69 copay for pegasys and no copay for ribaviron. Hope my experience saves you a lot of money!! There's a number to call to get the fax number to give your doctor to send in the prescriptions. Welcome and good luck!
1391695 tn?1298139789 That happened to me, and while I paid the first time out of pocket, the second treatment I went through the mfgr’s patient assistance program; they paid for 100% of both meds, with no copay or deductible to meet. Also, these drugs often require prior authorization; sometimes that can take a week or more to arrange. It’s not quite like filling a prescription for penicillin or something; it’s often a bit more involved.
Avatar m tn My insurance pays a big deal, buy it is still costing me $200 a month for this at walgreens, I cannot afford this through the whole cycle of ribavirin and pegasys. Is there any way to get around this cost?
Avatar f tn I am going through a county program for the health care part and then I went through Pegassist for the injections and meds. The health care program I am in is a 2 year program and it is for the county I live in in CO.
Avatar m tn Do you have to be broke to get assistance? What income info do they want?
Avatar m tn Maybe one of the online copay assistance programs can help. The Incivek one took care of my entire copay. So far this one helped with my first four doses of PEGASYS® (peginterferon alfa-2a): It's the regular syringe and not the Redipen: https://www.activatethecard.com/pegasys/welcome.html http://www.genentechaccesssolutions.com/portal/site/AS/menuitem.7ef3b8542d7c63460313edacd79c23a0/?
1639131 tn?1510818631 Hi all I was wandering if anyone knows of a good way to get help with my copay cost for tx. I will be starting some time with in a week from now if all goes well and my insurance okays it ( fingers crossed ) I sined up for an application for the Merck assistance program so we'll see how that goes but it said on the web site it's mostly for people with out insurance and I do have insurance. Also would like to see if I can get help with the riba and interferon as well.
Avatar m tn My monthly co-pay was $45 for Incivek, $5 for Ribavirin, and $20 for Pegasys. I could probably have asked the drug companies for assistance and I probably would have received it, but I did not know much at that time and my treating team was no help. When I was first calling my ins. co. about coverage, I got about 10 different answers and none of them were the same, LOL.
1831849 tn?1383228392 Laura, aka Lulu54 mentioned that there may be copay assistance programs available. I went to the Genentech website and found a wealth of information about assisatance for payments associated with many conditions. None of these were MS. I have a call in to them. but sustpecty that since Rituxan for MS is off label there is no program at Genentech. Does anyone know of any fiancial assistance programs for Rituxan?
Avatar m tn does anyone know of any copay assistance programs that would help with copayments .for my osteoarthritis?
Avatar f tn Hi. I start treatment on 4/28 for hvc g2. Im on a regimen og pegasys, ribivirin snd solvadi. I wad wondering if anyone had tips for keeping costs down. Maybe programs or online pharmacies? I have anthem blue cross, so its partially covered, but my copay is still through the roof.
Avatar m tn Costs are unbelievable! Any military vets out there should see if they qualify for VA care...my boyfriend pays a $7 copay each for his interferon and ribavarin...no copay for medical visits. Don't have to have a service connected disability either....just have to meet the requirements to receive VA care.
Avatar f tn They have copay assistance if you have insurance. They sent me a letter to reapply and the deadline for 2012 was December 5 2011. I am not sure if that deadline is for reapplying. You have to reapply every year. The Copay assistance is a separate arm of TEVA I believe not for profit. It is a limited amount per year of assistance. You send in your tax returns or pay stubs, etc. to show your income.
Avatar n tn I am participating in a study so the drugs are free, but my insurance will cover them with a copay. I believe that one of the manufacturers, Schering Plough, supports a program of drug distribution for people who can prove they are under- or non-insured. Look at their website for more info.
