ok so it looks like we are spending Thanksgiving in Key West. we were last there in June for my birthday and then i got pregnant in July. maybe this is good luck for me to get a BFP. I hope i get a BFP befroe i go rather than after this time. we will also be there for Christmas (DH is a helicopter mechanic and works on the LifeNet helicopters at the hospitals) fingers crossed!!!!!

For most folks who have started treatment with new PI.Did you start taking PI and riba the same day you took pegasus injection following a treatment chart afterwards?

Suddenly on 8/1/07 on a flight home from Key West Florida I began to experience balance problems. I first noticed this latest problem after the first leg of our flight home ( a short flight from Key West to Miami) and the problem has yet to go away. On some days my balance issues get worse than on others but regardless I have been dizzy every day since that flight home. The dizziness is more like being on a rocking ship at sea than a spinning sensation.

I love in Florida as well and my Doctor hasn't brought up any concern except for to avoid the lower half of Florida like Miami and Key West. Unless you were planning on hitting up the marsh or swamp areas of Florida, you should be okay, but if your Doctor insist on you not traveling here, go with the recommendation of your Doctor. I am about to start Pegasus and Ribovarin Therapy for the second time. My doctor said that I may not have been on this Pegasus and Ribovarin Therapy long enough the first time. I did it for 11 months. would be interested to here opinions of what myi chances are of the treatment being sucessful this time around. I was really suprised that it come back. The first time I did the treatment I became anemic and looked like a ghoast until I was able to start procrit.

Pegasus and Dr. Lupo, I have almost the exact same thing. I have a multicystic nodule on my left thyroid and every now and then i get a pain in my neck followed by a minor sore throat and some hoarseness due to a cough i usually only get when it flares up. Hi, I'm new here, and my husband is in his 10th month of treatment. Just had his second transfusion, and he isn't bouncing back. They upped his procrit, and he has had to stop taking ribavirin again. He's still on a half dose of pegasus and his viral count is undetectable. His doctor said he hated to pull the rug out from under him last visit, and it looks like I"m going to have to take him before his next visit. I think he may need another transfusion soon.

Will the Pegasus work without CoPegasus, I'm getting alot of side effects, I cant sleep and itchy rash's, I can handle the Pegasus alone but the Copegasus makes me feel bad. My liver function test are normal. Has anybody gotten rid of the hep without it?

Just got my Pegasus and co Pegasus.Was hoping just for just the Pegasus, But there was a study that said non responders faired no better than responders on there study. Why this applies to me I do not know. I am a relapser. This cost the insurance company big money. Any Ideas? At stage 4 i have no time to wait. Have had the same issues getting into the studies.
