Hi everyone, I was admitted in hospital, the nurse use the closed iv cateter system, nurse set up the needle in front of me and went outside, i dont know what she take from outside, and start to take my blood, My question theres a safety features for closed iv cateter system not to reused to someone? Do i need to worry to catch any blood orne diseases?

I was thingking nurse go outside and put the needle in the table and when she returned to take my needle she accidentally take the other needle that used already to someone else, do you think im in hiv risk here

t be afraid to ask your dentist to explain the difference between treatment options. I would maybe google pictures of bridges and partials and you might be able to see what they look like.

I am 22 yr old and i have hepatitis c genome 3 and i am taking pegasus\once weekly and ribavirin since 19-6-08 my question is have i to do weekly CBC or I can do every 2weeks before the injection ?

About 2 years ago I had a very sudden and acute fear of driving over bridges. It came out of nowhere! I was pregnant with daughter at the time and was very swollen/off balance with the pregnancy. Most of my molars have been crowned or replaced with bridges in the last 3 months. 5 Crowns and two bridges in the upper left and righ and lower left and right area of my mouth. Hi, I'm new here, and my husband is in his 10th month of treatment. Just had his second transfusion, and he isn't bouncing back. They upped his procrit, and he has had to stop taking ribavirin again. He's still on a half dose of pegasus and his viral count is undetectable. His doctor said he hated to pull the rug out from under him last visit, and it looks like I"m going to have to take him before his next visit. I think he may need another transfusion soon.

Just got my Pegasus and co Pegasus.Was hoping just for just the Pegasus, But there was a study that said non responders faired no better than responders on there study. Why this applies to me I do not know. I am a relapser. This cost the insurance company big money. Any Ideas? At stage 4 i have no time to wait. Have had the same issues getting into the studies. Relapser. Life can be hard at times.

It is difficult to say as it depends where the decay is and whether the dentist is able to access it without removing the bridge. Bridges are very hard to remove and often have to be drilled off which destroys them.

My 13 y/o is missing ten (yes, ten) permanent teeth. She's been in braces forever and we are looking toward dental implants when she is a few years older. However, I read where implants only last around15 years - is this true? Cost is definitely a factor since we have already spent a small fortune, so I am thinking bridge instead of the implants. I am so afraid within a week she will be scoring street dope again. Im pretty she has burned the bridges for the DOC meth. The local clinic and her Dr's clinic. She says she still has several subs cut in half,just in case the halflife kicks in and she goes into w/d's. Im so disapointed.I mean she went out of way everyday for years to go to the meth clinic every day, rain or sunshine to get her daily dose. But she couldnt comit to a once, maybe twice a week thing with sub.

I was told I lost bone and my tooth could not be salvage. Its been 2 days since the extraction and I noticed that I have an impairment in my speech; a lisp.Is this normal ? Is my mouth getting accustom to the new area? Will it go away? Any advice/help is appreciated. I am worried this will become the way I speak. Thank you in advance!
