paxil and zyrtec

Daily morning vomiting, anxiety, lost nearly thirty pounds in a month. I went on Paxil and Klonopin and the vomiting stopped. Stomach issues were still there, but I stopped losing weight and vomiting. However, I think taking all the med on a distressed stomach may have injured it more. I now have unbearable stomach pain at night and nausea in the morning. I have been up four hours with the pain.

i also take zyrtec about 6 hours before my meds,i take my meds 3 hours before sleeping and i take zyrtec with gnc mega men vitamin and mineral...

I was also advised to take Zyrtec and wondered if Zyrtec had any more benefit for skin reactions thank Claritin. Claritin didn't help at all. Two dermatologists suggested Zyrtec over Claritin . I hesitate to try the Zyrtec as I took it once a few years ago and promptly feel into a deep sleep. If it is better for the skin than Claritin can it be taken at night and do any good? My doctor was OK with me taking zyrtec. You just have to make sure to drink lots and lots of water.

It seems like Akira has seasonal allergies and dust allergies in addition to her food allergies. Because I really don't want to give her long term steroids, I decided to only give her the 1/4 tablet of Zyrtec that the vet told me to give her before. I try to wait 'til I just have to give it to her, because I know that people can build up a tolerance to antihistamines, so I figure that animals can, too.

Both Allegra and Zyrtec are 24 hour medications in my area. I have known several people who took 3 Zyrtec in one day, and my allergist says that you can't really OD on antihistimines. You should be sure to drink PLENTY of water and watch for signs of constipation and dehydration. You should make sure that your dr is well aware of how much of these meds you are taking to make sure that they are ok with any other medications you maybe taking.

10mg every day for the first five days and then every other day for the next five, in addition he gets a generic Zyrtec everyday. Now he just gets a zyrtec every day, and if his allergies act up beyond the zyrtec's control, like this time of year ,he gets a prednisone per day for 3 or 4 days and then every other day for two or until things calm down. Zyrtec can be expensive, but we actually found a generic brand at the dollar store! $1. for 14 pills, so we clear their shelves!

Had been on Augmentin for a sinus infection, just finishing up the script, and take Crestor, Nexium, and Zyrtec on a regular basis. Symptoms started a few days after starting generic Zyrtec, which also caused unbelievable dryness that felt like I was dehydrated (no vomiting, though). A day after the chills, I noticed my urine was dark and my stools were very light, almost gray, and I started getting very itchy but no rash.

Without the Zyrtec, my hives are not only unbearable but they also start to present in my throat, mouth and on my lips, so going without it is not really an option for me.

I take paxil 25 cr now and it is working pretty good. My doc upped me to 37.5 and I noticed no difference either so went back down to 25 without a problem. I think as long as you are taking paxil going down on dose is not an issue, it's if you go off all at once but my son who is 14 and has just developed panic attacks was put on zoloft 50 mgs and it has helped him. I took zoloft first but gave me gastro problems so doc wanted me to switch.

Months ago my ALT was 26. I stopped using Zyrtec, and my doctor told me to use Atarax. However, its been a week and the rash is still the same. I am very worried about it. What shall I do?

Zyrtec can cause side effects like skin nodules, rash, pruritis (itching), acne, urticaria, photosensitivity reactions and eczema. So, the itchy red cheeks could be due to Zyrtec. Discuss your symptoms with your consulting doctor he may change the dose or the medications. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

I just found this, and I wanted to make a comment on the chance there are anxiety sufferers who are also being treated for breast cancer. It make be a well know issue now, but when my wife began Tamoxifen treatment following her breast cancer surgery and radiation, I saw an article on TV regarding drug interaction between Paxil and Tamoxifen. We immediately mentioned it to my wife's oncologist, and he initially dismissed it and told my wife to continue to take the two drugs as prescribed.

What happens if i find out im pregnant and am on Paxil? I hear that it is very bad to be on Paxil especially during the first trimester. I definately want to come off of it-but i cant do it cold turkey being that the withdrawal symptoms are pretty bad. If, in the past, i missed a dose-I would begin feeling very dizzy and nauseaus. Im sure this affect or worse wouldnt be good for the baby either. If I ween myself off slowly-im still taking Paxil in my system during the first trimester.

He has never suffered from anxiety before. His shrink upped the Paxil to 20mg and gave him a low dose of xanax (0.25mg and later 0.5mg) to take as needed. He also takes clonozapan as needed, but both these drugs make him fuzzy or put him to sleep, so he can't function/work when he takes them. The past week has been horrendous. He wakes up terrified! Sweating, heart racing, crying, and terrified to leave the house.

Hello. Does anyone in this group take Paxil and crave alcohol? I do and never did before....I told my Dr. and he said Paxil doesn't cause alcohol cravings. He also wants to keep me on Paxil..I just want off it..

I don't know if it's Paxil or the seizures. I didn't start having seizures until I was on Paxil for a little while, and I didn't have short term memory loss until after I started taking Paxil. It all correlates to the same time. I'm concerned because I have read other people having the same complaint about it. I am seeing a doctor this coming Monday, though, to find out for sure. I shouldn't have to be 22 years old with a worse memory than my grandmother.

I have an anxeity disorder that triggers OCD and Paxil has worked very very well and given me a great life since being on it. I figure I should try something different to see if it helps the weight gain and if Zoloft doesn't work, or help me to lose the weight then I will have to cut off the wine and go back on Paxil. Suffering from Anxiety *****, but I would take the weight gain over feeling freaky all the time!

t heard much about doing it the other way around. And why Paxil and not Prozac or Lexapro? Lots of questions here. Sounds like your main problem, from the meds you're on, has been diagnosed as depression, not anxiety. True? If so, you might get better help on the depression forum.

I already take zyrtec and rhinocort for allergies on top of all of the other meds I take for pain and reflux. I am seeing an allergist in August and I am going back to my pcp tomorrow for the millionth time. Any advice?

I just started Paxil too and have only been on it for 2 days and get migraines! A migraine is different from a typical headache it's normally just in one part of your head. I actually had a brain tumor and had it removed 6 months ago. I felt better right after surgery then I do nowZ ridiculous! I was hoping my headaches weren't related and this makes me feel better! They did an MRI 2 1/2 months ago and everything was healing fine. I'm 21 weeks pregnant too.
