pataday

Hello my name is erick and i am 18 About a month and a half ago i woke up with my eyes very red and crusty in both eyes. I believed it was pink eye and when i went to the doctor they prescribed pataday as well as some other drops i would apply 4 times a day. My eyes got better and i did not wear my contacts at all. They said to only put your contacts in after 2 days of my eyes bein completely white . Weeks passed and i did that. Then i noticed my eyes started getting red again.
I just got this eye cream from Aveda - Tourmaline Charged eye cream - it is fantastic for dark, tired looking eyes. It is soo worth the $32...a little goes a long way! On the topic of red, dry, painful looking under eye patch, I just recently developed the same in the past few weeks.
After 4 to 5 days my eyes started turning red and there would be dry stuff around them in mornings after waking up so I started putting Similasan for pink eye but it didn't get better. When I went to see my doctor she recommended not to wear conacts for a while and prescribed pataday eye drops. At my doctor's recommendation I stopped wearing contacts for few days and with in 8 to 10 days my eyes became normal.
I went to my opthamologist. The doctor prescribed Tobramycin and pataday. Using both eye drops the condition got better with just a bit in the right eye. My opthamologist took me off the antibiotic and told me to do the pataday (allergy drops). Which I have. Yet, my right eye is tearing excessively and my right eye is tearing a little bit. The inner tear duct is very itchy and sting at times.I already got another opionion and was told that it's allergies.
she said to contnue to use the eye allergy eye drops and keep my contatcts out and she would see me in 2-3 weeks. It has been alittle over a week and I have had little relief my one in is still really red every morning and still itchy and pink through they day. Is this a normal thing with this condition and will my eyes clear up from allergy drops and leaving out my contacts?
I told my eye doctor that I could feel a little bump under my left upper eyelid, she tried to feel for it and looked but didn't see anything. This left eye is the culprit of all the trouble. All the itching and infections start in that eye. Although, this bump doesnn't hurt, I can still feel it there. It has got smaller in the past few weeks. I think it is something up there crfeating all of this. How do I get my eye doctors to take a good look at this.
steroid) No watering, no crusting, no redness. I go in for a follow up and she tells me my eye looks normal again! And to just use the artificial tears. 2 days later my left eye is back to how it used to be! It's PAINFUL at this point. Burning, stinging, light sensitivity, miserable. I decide to make an emergency appointment with the first doctor I saw. She examines my eye and tells me to go back on the Tobradex and follow the same regimen as before. Again, it works.
The medicine cleared away the itching of the eyelids as well as the coloring/inflammation. Then, I got pink eye in my right eye. Cleared up. Then I got pink eye in my left eye. Cleared up. Now my eyelids a swelled very much so and my eyeballs itch as if I have cotton or sandpaper in my eyes. My eyes arent red just swollen and itchy. I do not have allergies and the eye doctor said that if my symptoms did not clear up to come back.
Dear mawbbb I have suffered itchy eyelids, lips and inner eye for several years , however you will be relieved to know that I had this problem BEFORE I became a vegetarian, so vegetarianism isn't the cause. I have tried every topical cream - including cortisone, to no avail. Don't bother with a doctor because he/she will prescribe medication which is going to treat the symptoms rather than the cause - anyway I've seen several specialists and they haven't helped.
