Avatar m tn Would he have learned anything in prison, something like rehabilitation? Probably not, but at least he would have been incarcerated and not able to be involved with this. Where do situations like this leave us? This kid didn't learn anything from his first scrape with the law. Chances are, this won't be his last either. He'll do some time for this, but when he gets out his gang will give him "props" and he will have garnered more respect from his fellow gang members.

1508698 tn?1360215710 Hi all!! I am looking into going to a outpatient rehabilitation center. I was wondering if anyone here has ever gone, what all it included, if you liked it, and the price. Just wanted some input from people who have gone so I will know what to expect.
Avatar n tn He now has scoliosis because of poor posture, massive headaches and ear aches, hallucinations, and other problems due to being depressed and given up. We really want to find a home where he can be among people with the same rehabilitation challenges. It would be ideal if the home offered psychologist and a physical therapist; however, even if the home had one or the other it would be better than his situation right now. He just sits at home doing nothing.
Avatar f tn All of these are issues but not sure what are the biggest concerns when it comes to getting the additional days in rehabilitation approved.
4703993 tn?1379768388 Well I just wanted to share some good news. The Chiari Institute has gotten back to me after only 2 weeks after mailing the paperwork and is interested in seeing me! Thank God - I will finally get some professional opinions sometime soon. The nurse I spoke to said I just have to mail my most recent brain MRI CD to them and she will present my case to a doctor and call me back with an appointment!
1680869 tn?1304912217 A CT scan this month found chiari 1 (in Israel). I am due for an MRI but want to coordinate this with a specialist like this chiari institute (at my first thought). I found someone's post about the Chiari Institute - anyone have information about costs for the evaluation, information about their evaluation experience or anyone on one of those research trials through the universities? I have had almost a month of lower head pain, mild nausea, etc.
Avatar f tn The Cincinnati Eye Institute is world famous. You might call and ask about resources for the financially challenged in your area. Would also call Am Acad of Ophthalmology and ask about their programs of free care in your area.
