Hi my doctor prescribed paroxetine hcl but i hate taking peels has anyone been on these , does it work?
I have also been on Paroxetine HCL 40 mg one tablet a day for a long time. I also take bupropion hcl xl 300 one tablet a day. I still have a short temper and major stress headaches. But probably the worst part, my marriage is greatly affected because I don't want to leave the house. I don't even care if I take a shower or eat.
My doc immediately prescribed me 20mg of Paroxetine and 10mg of Buspirone. He wanted to up my dosage to 25mg of Paroxetine and 15mg of Buspirone. I didn't want this however because I know there are some withdrawal problems with paxil. I'm just worried about taking these two medications together. Thanks.

I know i will want to try again in the future can anyone tell me if they have had babies on anti depressants ? what type as mine is an ssri and works perfectly! was their baby healthy also did you need to go for extra scans and check ups.
Ive been switched from Paroxetine to Zoloft as am looking to try for a baby and this is supposed to be 'safer'. My doctor has changed me over gradually. I took Paroxetine 20mg for 2 weeks plus Sertraline/Zoloft 50mg, then went to Paroxetine 10mg and Sertraline/Zoloft 50mg and 5 days ago I've stopped Paroxetine altogether and am now just on Zoloft 50mg...I've went to the doctors yesterday because I feel terrible terrible - headaches, feeling incredibly depressed and crazy!
Over the last 6 months I have been experiencing a huge amount of financial and job stress, such that my doctor was concerned enough to put me on Paroxetine HCL (Paxil), starting at 25mg and now 30mg. It is the first drug I have taken for treatment of my issues since 1995 when I was on Xanax for 6 months.
I started forgetting to take my pill over the last week or two, and over last weekend just gave up on it, because I just don't feel it's doing anything productive.
I have been on Paroxetine for a couple of years now due to some family-counseling issues. I was reluctant to go on them at first. But for my family, I thought I'd try it.
It did reduce my anxiety. I slept better, deeper, and longer. A life-long stutterer, it cut my stuttering by 50-75%, and improved how I was viewed at work (I believe), by my calmness, better speech, and ability to focus. I had suffered from significant anxiety my whole life up to that point.
Can I take Hydroxyzine Pamoate (Daily) and Paroxetine HCl Oral (for attacks), with Acetaminophen plus caffeine (for headaches/energy booster), together without having any adverse reactions?
I've found that theophylline reacts negatively with caffeine, and MANY websites group hydroxyzine with theophylline. What is the difference between theophylline and hydroxyzine?

After several weeks without masturbating and several trips to the GP and remaining very depressed, with no improvement in the erection department, I was put back onto the Paroxetine at 20mg. My GP thought the issue was basically in my head due to anxiety.
I should note here that my girlfriend and I have had oral sex, and I was able to perform, though maybe not as strongly as I could before.

Hi just recently my anxiety attacks came back. I thought I could be able to brush them off and ignore them but it really isn't possible for me so I went on ahead to see my doc. NOTE** I've previously gone to the doctor and he prescribed me Peroxetine 25MG and Chlordiazepoxide 25MG**. So the same day before I went to see the doctor I tried to get my prescription re-filled. The Pharmacy could only re-fill one which was peroxetine 20MG!

I am on this as a combination with Paroxetine (Paxil 20mg). I have had both good and bad days. People tell me that I will have bad days before I have good days with most medications. I suggest trying it and if it doesn't seem to help, speak with your doctor about a different medication. Just because I have a bad experience, doesn't mean you will and visa versa.
Are these medicines for anxiety safe prescribed by the psychiatrist? Do they help in treating anxiety? how much? Hello, I am suffering from a light form of social anciety since several years, because of personal problems i started with paroxetine last month. Now i am feeling much better again and want to stop. Because I live together with my landlord which through me out yesterday after i moved in one week ago, my receipt is stolen. Is it now dangerous if i do a quick cancellation from 20 mg to 0 mg? ) 99% of the time. Have previously tried Prozac at 20mg, 40mg, and 60mg but this did not help at all. Am currently on sertraline 100mg, which helps for anxiety and depression but not PE. Have tried start and stop technique's (edging) for about a year with no improvement.

5 weeks ago I started taking 3 medications. 20mg of Paroxetine, 500mg of Metformin, 50mg of Spironolactone. I have had anxiety and depression for as long as I can remember, and I am now 29 and trying an anti-depressant for the first time. The Paroxetine my doctor said is supposed to help with the depression/anxiety, and the other meds are supposed to help the symptoms of my Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome.
The problem is, that I feel worse than I have ever in my entire life.
To get off oxys. I have been dosing myself for about 5 monthes very accuratley. I am down to 20mg, and got a SURPRISE CHANCE to go to Europe for a month!! I have 3 weeks! I need help on what I should do...AND any success stories on quiting low dosage methadone..
Combining fluoxetine or paroxetine with phenytoin can also lead to increased phenytoin side effects and reduce blood levels of paroxetine.
You really need to discuss the potential drug interactions with your own doctor.
Some sedatives lower the esophagal pressure that keeps food from entering the esophagus from the stomach. If you are taking an SSRI (Fluoxetine,Paroxetine etc), take it with breakfast to avoid irritating the stomach. If you are taking any anti-anxolytics (Alprazolam, Clonazepam etc), take them after dinner.
Try the following:
1. Prilosec OTC (Omaprazole 20mg) once a day. (PPIs reduce acid production in the stomach)
2. Domperidone 10 mg 3 times a day ( Increases pressure in the esophagus)
