I have also been on Paroxetine HCL 40 mg one tablet a day for a long time. I also take bupropion hcl xl 300 one tablet a day. I still have a short temper and major stress headaches. But probably the worst part, my marriage is greatly affected because I don't want to leave the house. I don't even care if I take a shower or eat.
I've taken both generic paroxetine and generic bupropion (aka Wellbutrin) together at maximum dosages, and had no problems with either. I didn't notice any pain-relief effect, though. I did notice, at times, an overall feeling of emotional numbness, but my doc at the time said that was likely due to the underlying depression, not the drugs.
Paroxetine is in the SSRI class, a Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor.
Is anyone getting ringing in the ears from taking Generic Wellbutrin(Bupropion sr ) 150 mg. Here is my situation I have been on amitriptiline 25 mg 4 years then went up to 50 mg for 3 years. I started taking only one 150 mg of bupropion sr this is my 5 day. Can I stop taking the amitriptiline with no withdrawls after only 5 days of Bupropion? or has it not been long enough. I hoping that I can stop the amitriptiline by taking the bupropion sr in place of the amitriptiline.
I am suffering from I believe depression I have problems sleeping this has recently started wierd thoughts and its very disturbing, I feel said and hopeless my doctor put me on Bupropion and I felt better the first day the next day I eel over active different? Have any one taken Bupropion and whats your reactions?
My husband has been taking Bupropion HSL SR 150mg for a few months and it doesn't seem to be working as well as the Bupropion XL 150mg he was taking for a few years before he was switched because, the pharmacy said, they could not get the Bupropion XL 150mg at that time. My husband has dementia. He takes the Bupropion in the morning along with his Aricept and Exforge (for blood pressure). He gets drowsy right after taking his pills and I think it may be the Bupropion HSL SR causing this.
I'm currently on 300 bupropion, along with topamax 100 and still have had no weight losse. I just started the 300 bupropion after being on 150 last week and have already had crying spells but this was the week of my period so I was thinking I just could be "emotional". Before I was on Zoloft 25-150 bupropion but I ate to much on it, I'm hoping for weight loss but every antidepressant I take makes me eat what to do I do??

It is possible that bupropion (Wellbutrin) may cause your symptoms of tremors and joint pain. Please contact your provider and pharmacist to report the adverse effects and have them confirm by conducting a complete medication review, including prescription, over-the-counter, and any dietary and herbal supplements.

Combining fluoxetine or paroxetine with phenytoin can also lead to increased phenytoin side effects and reduce blood levels of paroxetine.

I do take levothyroxine 1.75 mg (still have thyroid) approx. 11yr, Paroxetine 37.5 mg, Bupropion 200 mg twice a day, approx. 3yrs for this type and dosage prior types before this, lipitor 20 mg, approx. 6yrs. I was taking low dose birth control (approx. 11yrs) until about a month ago not for birth control. I'm strongly considering HRT. I'm 5'6" and weigh 228 lb.'s. What if anything affected the FSH of 42? Is this typical, as such, when menopause kicks in?
My doctor has decided that Depression is the cause of my anxiety, and has upped my bupropion to 450 mg a day until the tremors and shaking started, then he lowered me back down to 300. Now I have feel angry or like crying all the time. An explotion can come at anytime, but because the depression was better at 450 mg a day he wants to combine atenolol with it to fight the side effects. I think side effects of bupropion cause blurred vision and problems with one eye not moving in conjunction with the other which is horrible in addition to Nystagmus. I am on 100 mg of bupropion and was feeling a little anxious. Before taking bupropion, when I felt a little anxious my roommate would give me one of his ativan's, but a full 0.5 would make me sleepy…so I cut it down to 0.25 which worked nicely. I have started to do that with the bupropion…is that ok?
