Welcome to the gastroenterology community! From your profile I see that you are a teenager and I assume you live in the US. I would guess that this is anxiety, which I see that you also have from your profile. Pantoprazole (Protonix) is only by perscription and treats GERD which I don't think you have and Domperidone is not FDA approved in the US so I would not recommend either of these suggestion.
I just had a pneumonia almost 2 months ago and i had ulcer last November but already been cured by pantoprazole domperidone. Now i feel like my ulcer reoccured again coz im having heartburn,stomach pain and bloating
and nauseous. My question is can i take pantoprazole again even though i just had pneumonia and still having shortness of breath and chest pain? Pls help coz i dont know what really is the cause of my difficulty in breathing is it from having pneumonia or my ulcer.
s a highly personal issue. The combination of Domperidone and Pantoprazole (Protonix) has ben pretty good for me, as has something called "Iberogast", which I got from Amazon, and which you can get from a naturopath. Acupuncture has also proven helpful, though i wasn't able to continue that route for a couple of reasons. In the end, the "magic bullet", so to speak, has been a combination of diet, exercise and medications as prescribed by a doc.
a year ago a doctor suspected me of peptic ulcer and he gave me pantoprazole 40mg and domperidone for 2 weeks. Then all symptoms were gone after the treatment. After a few months i started taking this probiotic (with 250 billion cfu) then i started to get bloated, felt like the ulcer symptoms came back. I've been like that for 6 months now. I feel like there's too much gas inside me. I don't have excessive burping/flatulence though.
s not that painful anymore but I am worried now to sleep because I might feel that pain again. I also have gerd and taking pantoprazole+domperidone so i hope its just because of my medicines.
Until recently, my symptoms have been well conntrolled with medication (Pantoprazole 40mg twice daily and domperidone) and lifestyle modications. I have avoided most problematic foods (onions, garlic, citrus , caffeine, carbonated beverages, chocolate, mint and spicy items).
About 3 months ago I started to experience what I consider to be IBS symptoms; bloating, cramps and lots of gas. The discomfort ocurred much lower down than my typical GERD symptoms do.

I have read about early hiv symptoms and what I don't have are the following; vommiting,diarreah,chills,rash,night sweats. what I am experiencing is; upset stomach, mild headaches and backaches, no wanting to eat, growling in bowels and stomach, slight dizziness.
I have always had some issues with nausea and cramps but not severe, and there was an episode of long-lasting nausea in high school (2016) after I had a case of the stomach flu and then food poisoning that was practically resolved after a short amount of time on domperidone and pantoprazole. For a while I was fine, until university when the nausea returned and I suddenly stopped feeling hungry and I couldn't attend classes.
My mother (99 yr. old) over the last three years not every time but will on occasion during eating begin to cough as if choking and then go on to bringing up great volumes of ( appears clear) phlegm. At that time the physician said to have her eat only creamed soups/Ensure/Boost. That seemed to help and it only seemed to occur when she ate fibrous foods. About eight months ago her esophagus was scoped because a semblance of blood was found in the sputum.
She is also taking ofloxacin200mg 01BD for the last 15 days and also one capsule daily of Pantoprazole +domperidone combination.But all this is of no avail. She suffers from hypertension too and under medication for the same. Plz. advise me.
After being on pantoprazole 2 time per day and domperidone the spasm stopped however the burning continued from by back to my chest. My GI specialist reommended 10 mg of amitriptyline. After 2 days of taking it the burning stopped but I developed the worst upper back and chest pain. This was different from the first pain which was up and down. This new pain was across my upper back and chest.
I have been diagnosed with Gastroparsis and my DR is recommending that I take domperidome, since I am not familiar with this medication I would like to hear from those who have taken it, were there any side effects and how did it work.
In any case, ask your doctor about this type of exam, and see whether domperidone, in addition to the Protium (pantoprazole) might help. (By the way, gastroparesis is often associated with childbirth, for some reason.)
In the meantime, start moving to a gluten-free diet to see whether it helps. (It might take a few months of a strict gluten-free regimen for symptoms to begin clearing.) In fact, to be on the safe side, try avoiding ALL grains and dairy.
My husband is a 45 year old man, with excellent eating and life habits. 6'1", 185 lbs, high fiber, low fat and low spice diet, 1 coffee/day, occasional alcohol, non-smoker, active. He takes Lipitor and a baby aspirin daily to control cholesterol. The extreme GERD he suffers from seems to have stumped all of his doctors and has him feeling like an old man.
I was wanting to if anyone has found a way to help gain weight with the Gastroenteritis? He is having a very hard time with this. Also if someone could help with the fact that he burps and it smells so bad and I know what it is from and that he can't help it. But is there anything he can do to help the smell? He gets embarrassed when we go out to eat and he is making the place smell around him. Any help would help out so much!
I am being weaned from pantoprazole with ranitidine. It seems that now that we have reached the pantoprazole every third day stage, I am getting weekly bouts of diarrhea, especially if I drink more than one cup of coffee. Is this a side effect? The diarrhea wakes me at night.

Staying really well hydrated. This is my second baby and pregnancy or nursing has never affected my thyroid in the past and the doctor was diligent to keep checking throughout pregnancy and afterwards.

I am taking a prescription from Canada called Domperidone and it has helped a little but its effectiveness seems to be wearing off. Is there something else out there that helps. I am quite sick right now.
Hi,
I suggest that you take an antireflux , antinausea combination for a few days - a combination of esmoprazole/ pantoprazole with domperidone would be good. You should also take an antacid gel two - three times daily.
Try to avoid fried, spicy, processed foods. Eat fruits, vegetables and plan your diet thoughfully. Take an antispasmodic at the time of pain.
Do not lie down immediately after you eat. Take a stroll, or a small walk maybe after every meal.
My son vomits at least once a week either first thing in the morning or shortly after laying down to sleep. Every time he vomits he is excluded for 48 hours from pre-school. His doctor says she can find nothing wrong with him. I am struggling do deal with this and don't know how to help him. What can be wrong?
I did try Reglan and I felt sick with this medicine. I did not try Domperidone yet. how to order the medicine. Do we have it in US.So I don't have to go through Canada. advice.
I also have gained weight with this problem.
