Now I was taking 2x1 40mg Pantoprazole for 14 days, then starting yesterday 1x1 in the morning 40mg for additional 1 month, and at same time I have to take sucralfate just before sleep.

Exactly seven days later I had a perforated duodenal ulcer and emergency surgery. Afterwards I was put on pantoprazole 40mg, once a day. I was on this for three months then my prescription was over. I'm on Pantoprazole 40mg twice a day. It just started about 5 days ago with the shaking all over, dizzy feeling in my head and also having "shakes" in my abdomen area. My GI doc said the stomach shakes....his patients have told him about them, but he didn't give a reasoning really as to why.
How long will I have to take pantoprazole 40mg/day for my acid reflux? Will I ever be cured from acid reflux hence no more medicine OR this is a life time thing which means continued use of daily medicine?
I told my doctor that i really need something that is not over the counter . ask about pantoprazole 20mg .. When i do get heartburn and take one it takes a little while to kick in but then no sign of heartburn for the rest of the day . watch what you eat and one pill may last two days.
a year ago a doctor suspected me of peptic ulcer and he gave me pantoprazole 40mg and domperidone for 2 weeks. Then all symptoms were gone after the treatment. So here's my story. I never had heartburn before in my life. I was prescribed 40mg of prednisone for 5 days and was never told to take an antacid or ppi while I was on it. Fast forward to the 6th day I was woken up to chest pain and my heart fluttering. I wasn't sure what it was and couldn't fall back asleep until hours later. I went to the ER two days later for the chest pain and they gave me an oral steroid to take along with 2 weeks worth of famotodine to take.

He initially told me to take it once per day, but as of about a week ago when my pain became so strong (after 3 weeks) that I couldn't sleep at night, he told me to take the 40mg Pantoprazole twice a day (morning and night) with the Pepcid AC and I take a third Pepcid AC during the middle of the day per his direction.
gave me a very heavy duty antibiotic which got rid of that, also gave me Dexalant for the burping, which I had to stop taking because it gave me diarrhea, then she gave me a prescription for pantoprazole sodium Dr. 40mg instead, which I have been taking for a few weeks & that hasn't helped either. The burping is constant, even during the night when I get up to go to the bathroom.

I have Barrett's Esophagus, I have been to my GI doctor for a Endoscopy and he said, it wasn't bad. I am taking Nexium 40mg. once a day. I have noticed that if I eat spicy food or drink acouple of beers that the next day I feel like there is something stuck in my throat. I told told the doctor about it, but he said, thats normal with my condition. Does anyone else get this feeling.? And what is it ?
I was down with Chikungunya in August 2016 and have abnormal burping since then. I was taking pantoprazole 40mg twice a day along with Antacid but nothing worked. In Jan 2017, I started having pain in lower abdominal and was given Normaxin for approx 20 days - twice a day. No more pain until August 2017. Gradually it started getting better after couple of months and I stopped taking antacid but was taking pantoprazole regularly.
I have been to my GI doctor for a Endoscopy and he said, I had GERDS and Barretts Esophagus and put me on Nexium 40mg twice a day. Then I had a Colonoscopy and he said, I had Diverticulitis, which was something I never had before. He never told me how I got it or what to do about it or even if that was what was causing the morning pain. Does anyone one else have this condition and have the morning stomach pain ? And what can I do for it ?
Sounds like really bad acid reflux. What mg omeprazole are you taking? 20mg or 40mg? If its only 20, I'd suggest taking 2 pills in the morning 30 min before eating.
Are you staying away from stomach irritating foods? Dont have coffee, tea, tomato, gluten, dairy, or soy. These are known to irritate the stomach lining and make acid reflux worse.
a) My doctor is asking me to take CINITAPRIDE-3MG and PANTOPRAZOLE 40MG. I am extremely vary of PPI, given my past experience, should i take Pantoprazole or stay on Fomatidine?
b) Can i take Cinitapride given the low oxygen desaturation during sleep? If not, which medicine with minimal side effects can be given to strengthen LES?
c) I'm taking Peptest to find out if Pepsin is causing Extra easophagal symptoms next week. If the issue with pepsin, what could i take?
I went to my GI doctor and told him about it and he just told me to keep taking my Nexium 40mg. I told him that I take it everyday without fail. I showd him were the pain was and he just said, I think its your intestines. I had a endoscopy and he said, I had Barrett's esophagus and a Hiatal hernia and left it at that. I had to talk to a friend who said that I might have IBS.
