Steroids, mumps, Epstein Barr Virus and Cytomegalovirus, Lupus and other immune diseases, very high calcium, lipids and triglycerides, drugs: sulfa drugs, steroids, NSAID use, diuretics, duodenal ulcer, diabetic drugs especially Byetta. The drugs could be a problem for both the pancrease and liver too. If you have been taking Byetta for diabetis it is very important to get treatment for that right away. I would say there is cause for concern but you are getting it checked out.

At first, when I noticed the problem, I was under the impression that my feeling of disjointed reality was being caused by the medicine I was taking. After weaning myself off of the meds the problem remained. I struggled with this for a time and finally sought medical help. Basically, it appears as though the world is not real....or possible that I am sleeping even thugh I am awake.

Is there a possibility that these diseases are related? She has attempted to treat the pancreatitis and the digestive issues but have yet to be treated in any way for the Sjogren's or the sarcoidosis. Is this proper protocol?

Generally GGT levels start coming down within 24 hours of stopping the drug. ALP levels may take longer. Avatar f tn You might have pancreatitis. That could cause all 3 symptoms, and the elevated enzymes. Other causes of your symptoms would not likely do that. Make sure your doctor checks you thoroughly for pancreatitis.
Avatar f tn The doctors ran test and i was told it was pancreatitis. I was checked for Gal stones, was clear. They said they found no cause, and it was put down to alcohol misuse. I am not a heavy drinker. Could the Solpadol have caused this? I read in the leaflet one of the severe side affects is pancreatitis.
