Common Questions and Answers about Paliperidone scientific discussion

invega

Avatar m tn PATM is mixed with all the crazy possibilities. If you want to prove it, then you need very strong scientific evidence to support your claims. Use the scientific methodology to prove it's not your imagination, sensitivity, subjectivity or exaggeration. (THE MOST IMPORTANT RESEARCH YOU COULD DO IS: MEASURE THE DATA SHOWING PATM IS NOT THERE WHEN YOU ARE AWAY, THEN SHOW THE DATA DIFFERENCE WHEN YOU ARE THERE. AND DO IT MANY TIMES TO AVOID STATISTICAL ERRORS.
Avatar n tn Finally, since about year he began giving him INVEGA (paliperidone) injection 50 mg which he is fine with it. The problem is that he has become sperm non-existent as he told me. Will it disappear in case he stop taking the injection after a long period of use???? I am very confused, particularly as he wants to get married and be a father.
Avatar n tn For the past couple years I have been on paliperidone which is generic for invega which I know can cause extreme weight gain. Couple that with my increasingly poor eating habits, I definitely ballooned in weight. For about the past two months I have gone on a heavy calorie restriction that I know is deemed to be unsafe and unhealthy. I want to say now that with respect, I would prefer you focus on my question at hand and not about telling me to eat more food than I currently do. Thanks.
Avatar f tn I also suggest reading at least the first two pages, and more if you want to get into the discussion and scientific evidence of all that is suggested in the paper. http://www.thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/TUK_PDFs/diagnosis_and_treatment_of_hypothyroidism_issue_1.pdf Before further discussion, please post your actual thyroid test results and reference ranges shown on the lab report. Also, please tell us bout the symptoms you have currently.
Avatar m tn Well will wonders never cease? Are we surprised about the information? I guess they had to spend money on something after they couldn't buy donuts for doctors offices anymore.
738075 tn?1330575844 I like science. I like the scientific process. The scientific method. I even went out and got a degree in Biology, even though my heart was in my music, but music doesn’t always pay the bills. I like the idea of noticing something that causes us to ask a question, form a hypothesis, test the hypothesis, and develop a theory. I love randomized, double blinded studies with placebos to help come up with answers. Scientific evidence.
Avatar f tn Dear diver58,RubyWitch,CurfewX or other member/mods. I am asking kind of questions that might bothering (but i believe it will gives some relieves ) for those who are suffering from hiv anxiety. 1. I have read that some condition might affect HIV test, for example someone whom undergone cancer chemotherapy, IV drug user, PEP/PREP user, or a person with pre existing immunodeficieny. Is there any other condition beside these 4 factors? 2.

Avatar n tn I just got finished reading through the closed gluten free discussion and want to thank everyone for having it. I am one of those newbies that some of you were concerned about getting the right information. I had heard in other places that g/f helps with Hashi's, and it was a board on an alternative health type blog (Mark's Daily Apple).

Avatar f tn You could try an over the counter bleaching solution like a Crest Whitening Strips or other brands that are out there. Whitening toothpaste could be another option but I am not as big a fan due to abrasives they place in there that remove the stains so it depends on how hard you brush and if there's significant wear on your teeth. Something that I've been hearing about is oil pulling.
Avatar f tn To understand the effects of lasers, read the book "The Biology of Belief" by Dr. Bruce Lipton. Part of this is suggestion. You are not recieving the latest pain treatments. Chronic neuropathic pain is due to inflammation of glia cells. Obtain a copy of November 2009 of the "Scientific American" for a thorough discussion. Do a google search on glia cells and pain and treatments.
Avatar m tn I understand how fearful you are. But these are your obsessions talking. It is harming you to keep searching the web and worrying about this. You're just going to have to work to accept the scientific evidence that you did not catch HIV; as we discussed last May, your test results prove it -- period, full stop, no need for discussion. 1) That result is negative, not equivocal. Below the positive index value, the numerical result is meaningless. 2) Your doctor is correct.
