Finally, since about year he began giving him INVEGA (paliperidone) injection 50 mg which he is fine with it. The problem is that he has become sperm non-existent as he told me. Will it disappear in case he stop taking the injection after a long period of use???? I am very confused, particularly as he wants to get married and be a father.

For the past couple years I have been on paliperidone which is generic for invega which I know can cause extreme weight gain. Couple that with my increasingly poor eating habits, I definitely ballooned in weight. For about the past two months I have gone on a heavy calorie restriction that I know is deemed to be unsafe and unhealthy. I want to say now that with respect, I would prefer you focus on my question at hand and not about telling me to eat more food than I currently do. Thanks.

ve been on birth control for about 3 years and this month I only took two weeks of the pill and started right to my placebo pills this week after we had sex. I'm wondering if because I skipped to my placebo pills a week early will that cause me too ovulate and get pregnant? I'm kind of freaking out. I couldn't afford my next week of pills so I only had my placebo pills left and took them so that I didn't have to skip any until I can buy them.

Well she did get her withdrawal bleed during the placebo week. But why would she get those ovarian pains before th placebo week (few days before). I would think those pains would come during the placebo week because she is no longer getting the active ingredient and therefore her withdrawal bleed and those pains. But why would those pain come during the active week? In the past she always got the ovarian pains during the placebo week?

The placebo is actually to keep you on track with taking them and you can get pregnant even taking the birth control active pills it is not 100%. I got pregnant on BC being on it for 2 years and didn't miss a pill.

OK...a little bit of background. 2 mos ago, I had a missed pill. Followed the in-pack instructions and took the missed pill the following morning and my pill that evening as usual. This has thrown my cycles off like crazy. My last "period" during placebo week was the pill pack prior to the missed pill. I am now having the typical placebo week bleeding between the 2nd and 3rd weeks of the active pills, with not even as much as spotting during the placebo week.

I've been on yaz for about 5 months now and its fine anyway I skipped my placebo pills last week and started out with a new pack but I noticed very slight pinkish discharge only when i swipe yesterday. Is this normal or could it be implantation bleeding? Has anyone experienced this?

Is this even possible or is just a placebo effect? I had a ridiculously hard drug issue for 6 years and understand when I feel a bit high and I'm struggling to understand why I feel like this from a drug that should not take effect until 14-28 days.

I've been taking sprintec birth control for about 2 years now. I usually skip the placebos to delay bleeding/period, so have withdrawal bleeding every three months or so. When breakthrough bleeding begins, I'll take placebo pills and stop taking the active pills (recommended by doctor) for the few bleeding days and then return to active pills when bleeding stops. However, I started withdrawal bleeding last Monday but kept taking active pills because I was distracted.

So, most doctors do like us to have a period periodically. You need to built that into the plan. but in general, you can skip your placebo week if you so desire to not have any bleeding/spotting at all. When you decide to take the placebo week, I'd just do it like a regular pack. You finish a pack and it starts with placebo, so start the new pack with placebo (or where it falls into the packaging).

I feel that we should take the placebO only if we do not know we are taking the placebo as we can trick ourselves into thinking that we are taking the actual antidepressant and therefore think we are getting better and so start to feel better because we are convinced the "antidepressant" is working. Better to know beforehand what you might face, then you won't be in the position of those Ryan attributes to hysteria but can't be since most of them, like me, didn't know anything about withdrawal in the first place and therefore couldn't be suffering some hypothetical mass hysteria. On the other hand, it might not be withdrawal.

So although they suggest you do not try and predict if you are on the placebo or not...I feel reasonably confident that I was on the drug as I do not think "the placebo effect" could have caused the physical changes I experienced..but maybe I will be proved wrong.

Hi, for those that have done the PROVE trials with teleprevir, is there anyway at all to tell if you have the placebo or not? I think on the PROVE III non-responder trials, you can be fairly certain inf+riba+placebo isn't going to work, especially if you've been through multiple treatments. I would think if one fits that profile, got into a trial, and could tell it was a placebo there'd be no point in putting oneself through that.

She just reached her placebo week. We use condoms regardless, but she is very paranoid either way. I told her, based on my knowledge, that even during placebo week we would be okay to have sex.
