Anyone who subscribes to the “cholesterol is harmful” hypothesis should be prepared to answer the question, “If cholesterol is so bad, why is the body designed to
manufacture so much of it at so many different sites?” Not surprisingly, “cholesterol is harmful” advocates are silent in this regard.
The answer, of course, is that the body is designed to manufacture cholesterol at multiple sites because it needs so much of it for many different reasons.
