Paliperidone injection

Common Questions and Answers about Paliperidone injection

invega

Avatar n tn Finally, since about year he began giving him INVEGA (paliperidone) injection 50 mg which he is fine with it. The problem is that he has become sperm non-existent as he told me. Will it disappear in case he stop taking the injection after a long period of use???? I am very confused, particularly as he wants to get married and be a father.
Avatar n tn For the past couple years I have been on paliperidone which is generic for invega which I know can cause extreme weight gain. Couple that with my increasingly poor eating habits, I definitely ballooned in weight. For about the past two months I have gone on a heavy calorie restriction that I know is deemed to be unsafe and unhealthy. I want to say now that with respect, I would prefer you focus on my question at hand and not about telling me to eat more food than I currently do. Thanks.
Avatar m tn Well will wonders never cease? Are we surprised about the information? I guess they had to spend money on something after they couldn't buy donuts for doctors offices anymore.

11804301 tn?1435695514 I'M currently 30 wks with baby #5 ,came to the lab to get blood work (regular stuff) and to do my glucose tolerance test. The lab tech was telling me y doctor ordered me to have the rhogam injection I was confused because A) the doctor didn't explain it to me B) Ive never had to have this for any other pregnancy.
Avatar f tn I started my welly injections at 16 weeks, and will have them til 36 weeks. Don't be nervous, I don't really feel them, no side effects for me either. Nurse did say some patients do get a rash at injection site. The only thing I'm concerned about is the weekly trip to the clinic exposing me to all the nasty germs there.
Avatar f tn So I received my rhigam injection a couple he's ago. I knew something didn't feel right when I was getting it but I said nothing. Now I am 99% sure that it was accidentally administered under my skin instead of in my vein. Its swollen , bruised and tender to touch. Looks like there's fluid under there. I am waiting on a call back from my doctor. Has this happened to anyone else????
Avatar f tn I'm 27+5 today and I had my glucose test this morning. I got the results and everything is fine but because I have a negative blood type, I have to go back tomorrow to get a RhoGAM injection. I asked the nurse who called me what it was for and she was confused why it hadn't already been explained to me from the beginning. Can someone please tell me a little more about it?
Avatar f tn They usually give you one early in pregnancy then again at 20 somthing weeks and depending on what blood type baby is your more likely to get another one after pregnancy.
Avatar f tn Hi ladies. I'm 18weeks and 3 days. And have week told I will need my rubella injection after birth and I am to stay away from anyone poorly or rash etc and if I turn I'll I should make midwife doctor aware. I've caught a awful cold of hubby and finding myself short of breath? Do you think I should tell them or is it nothing to be concerned about.
Avatar n tn Since being on the depo injection I have realised that sometimes I feel looser during sexual intercourse even though I haven't had any sexual contact or anything since the last time with my partner or anyone else. Could you please explain to me why this may be happening? I keep thinking it maybe something with my hormones. I am being accused of all sorts and I genuinely haven't done anything. It's really effecting my relationship, I hope you can help.
Avatar n tn I'm 30wks and I have to take the Rhogam injection tomorrow since I'm RH negative. I'm nervous b/c the only other time I've had that shot was when I was having a miscarriage (5 to be exact) Now I automatically associate the shot with losing my baby and my heart is sad and nervous. I've never come this far along and I couldn't handle losing my little girl. Should I be scared or am I being paranoid?
Avatar f tn MD thinks that the injection somehow irritated the nerves surrounding the area. I have been doing ice and heat, it only provides minimal relief. Swimming therapy in warm water pool feels awesome, I have fibromyalgia, while in the pool ALL of my pain is decreased significantly until I get out. I'm going to go to the pool more often. Had MRI yesterday so we shall see what MD says, thank u for responding to my post.
