contractions

Avatar f tn It said they may be regular but change in intensity and will often go away for similar reasons to bh contractions. I has cramping ever 7 min one night and contractions every 5 another night both times lasting more than an hour then just quit!
Avatar f tn Yeah its not consistent at all, just painful, but I only get like 5 a day so I will wait till my apt next wk unless they get worse
Avatar f tn Why does it seem like I only experience contractions at night time. I'm only 37 weeks & I haven't lost a mucus plug so I'm sure they are braxton Hicks. But I only feel them at night time, anybody else like this?
9947231 tn?1406836084 Contractions that are not persistent, intensify as they progress and become constant are probably just Braxton Hicks contractions, they are more so common at later hours of the day and night. If they go away, probably the case.

5110781 tn?1378361950 I went into preterm labor last week at 34 weeks. And those lasted 5-7 mins and was at night.. But now I only normally get painful ones again at night too. My doctor said Braxton Hicks cause they only normally come at night. But don't self check for dilation.. If you don't know what your doing you could do something wrong.

1173196 tn?1292916490 I never had these contractions with my other pregnancies but I get them almost every day with this one and they hurt! Sometimes they wake me up at night, and if I get one while I'm walking, I can't stand up straight. I know they aren't real contractions because they don't have a pattern, but everything I've read says that Braxton Hicks aren't painful. Has anyone else been experiencing painful Braxton Hicks?
6295353 tn?1395241495 I just didnt think much of it because you know its just at night while I sleep and it been like that for the past 3 nights but they are very mild they dont progress or go and come back its like a pain that is just there. So idk if thats normal or not.
571042 tn?1271447141 Good question because at my appt. this week my doctor asked how often I was getting contractions and I asked her... "Well, what do you consider contractions? Because I get Braxton Hicks and they aren't painful." Her response to me was "Ok, then you aren't having contractions because contractions will be painful." So... I guess my body is still practicing away because my "contractions" are not painful at all... uncomfortable, sure... but not painful.
1124862 tn?1303850973 and then today i have been having contractions... not painful... and not too close... but at least 4 an hour... i see my doctor friday and im pretty sure they are braxton hicks but then again with the bloody discharge i had last night it makes me wonder...
Avatar f tn This is my 3rd night of having contractions and it seems to just get worse every night. Ugh seriously hurts and nothing seems to be helping. I have an appointment tomorrow morning so I guess I'll just have to wait and see what they say. Just so uncomfortable and painful.
