I HAD 3 STENTS PUT IN 2 WEEKS AGO AND I AM GETTING PAIN IN MY LEFT ARM OFF AND ON . WHEN I GO TO BED IT WAKES ME UP AND IT REALLY HURTS IN THE MORNING WHEN I WAKE UP. IT SEEMS WHEN I AM ACTIVE IT IS NOT AS BAD. I HAD A ULTRASOUND TODAY AND THEY DIDN'T SEE ANY BLOOD CLOTS. WHAT IS MAKING MY ARM PAIN.
I have been having pain in my left arm that has now spread to my breast & upper neck & back. The pain runs down my arm. What can be the cause of this?
My name is olivia and i live in indiana (i am 14 years old) about 30 minutes ago, i am experiencing left arm pain from my left shoulder all the way down to my hand. i am not sure what this is and i would like to know. Also, i am not athletic (if that helps at all) so i dont run, and i dont take gym in middle school. If you can tell me what's going on, i'd very much appreciate it.
I have been wearing bite guard for last year and it got better but started hurting again this week really bad and having spasms in jaw and now my neck is killing me on the left side. Pain is going up the left side of neck and down left shoulder into arm. Have not had chance to go to doctor yet but am wondering if anyone with cervical disc problems has ever had it to affect temple and jaw area of face??? Am thinking maybe this isn't TMJ at all....
It has been a week since I had the left shoulder blade pain that shoots up to left side of the head. Whenever I move my left arm in certain motion it gives me pain on my head on the left top. If I sit still, I feel no pain.
I am suspecting t this is the result carrying my sleeping baby on my left shoulder which caused my neck to stretch.
In my experience, if this pain is nerve root pain from your neck, it may do no good to try and treat your hand or arm where you feel the pain, and OTC pain meds might not help as much as one would hope. Try applying ice or moist heat or both to your neck, instead, to see if this lessens the pain in your arm. I've also found that regular X-rays do not always show a herniated disk, but that an MRI is sometimes required.
Hi there for the last 2 weeks ive had an ache in my left arm, my neck on the left hand side is alittle sore also. Last week I felt nausea ( but wasnt sick)most of the day and that lasted a few days. The nausea feeling has gone but my arm is still aching. I went to my gp and had a blood test and my results came back clear.
I've been having alot of neck, left shoulder and behind my left ear pain. Its not regular.if i take rest it goes away but when i lift my 10 months old baby(8 kg) for even 20 min in my left arm its comes out.if i do some light physical work(in kitchen or home) it increases it spreads in my back and goes up behind the ear.when i come to office i get rest, pain decreases.i am software engg. by profession.
I can relate to neck pain that is so bad that a sneeze or cough is to much to bear. I have just had surgery, foramotomy, or something like that. I do not spell well. This was supposed to relieve my pain in Left shoulder but so far no luck. My arm feels better but my whole shoulder spasms now. I think your pain may be comming from DDD . Do you have sgoulder or arm pain also.
A few months ago, I was stopped dead in my tracks (was leaving work, simply walking to my car)with this horrendous pain under my left shoulder balde. It was so bad, I could hardly breath, turn my head or walk to my car. It went away w/in a few days to a week. About a month after that, the same thing happened (was just standing on my front porch, went to go inside)but to the right side this time.. Again, that went away with in a few days..
I have pain in the left arm and hand and the right arm to the elbow , left side of the neck. Also pain on the middle of my back between the shoulder blades.
I do have " sever" nerve compression in the lower back, "some scoliosis".
What to do? Sounds like the Cervical spine is a minor deal...the lower spine does seem to need attention. I'm just trying to find out what needs to be done.

It felt like I hade a crick in it from sleeping on it wrong, but I was at Walmart when I started experiencing the pain. It got worse that night. The pain then started going down to my shoulders. Hello, I'm a long time member here at Med-help.
For sometime now, I have been unable to rotate my left arm backwards when its in a elevated position. I don't know if this is a shoulder, muscle or nerve issue. I also have chronic scapular and rib pain on the same side. To complicate matters, I have serious neck problems and have had 2 ACDFs.
Is this being caused by my neck or is it simply a frozen shoulder issue, any thoughts?
m just another person like you dealing with pain in me left arm, shoulder and neck. It is a sharp piercing pain that goes all the way up to the shoulder and neck. I have been checked all over, MRI, MRA, spinal tap, EEG, EKG and other test too numerous to mention. My left arm is very weak and if I try to use it, the pain is excruciating. I can't sleep on it and it wakes me in my sleep. My neurologist latest diagnosis is it is all in my head. Depression. Get over it.
