Jenny - never mess with breathing always go straight to your dr. Things can turn on a dime, I've had pneumonia and allergies and waiting is never a good idea. You need to take care of yourself. pain is your body's way of telling you something is wrong, at 28 breathing should never hurt. Please see your Dr. Hope to hear back that you have an appt.
The pain pathways (due to a common nerve) are the same when you have esophageal problems and when you have actual cardiac pain. This makes it all the more fun. I'd rest easy though. Is she finding any relief from the Aciphex? It usually takes a few weeks (they say two, for me it took longer). And any clue as to why a 16 year old has such serious stomach problems? I'd be concerned about that too. Hope she feels better soon, I know what it's like to live with that pain.
Chest pain or discomfort in children is not rare, and the history of when it happens (at rest or with exercise), time of day, how long it lasts, and how do the child looks, are all important. It is important to know if there is any dizziness, passing out or shortness of breath when it happens. There is not enough information here for me to tell you whether it is something to worry about. Statistically chest pain in children most often does NOT have a cardiac origin.
Well, i do not personally think that liver, gall bladder or gallstone will make you feel a chest pain. Your case, the chest pain can be muscular and you say only when u breath in then it pains. But to rule out anything, without a test it will be difficult.

but before these, like a year ago, i also got bad chest pain. usually lasted for a couple hours then it just turned out to be gas. i still am perplexed to this day. i noticed that drinking water, eating whole grains, and sleeping helps. try that. but if you got a lot of tests done then it has to be benign. dont worry, even though i know it hurts. just try the things i said and tell me how they work.

I am 23 years old, and used to be in good shape, but this last year I have been doing almost no physical training and eating alot of junk food. I have been starting to feel chest pains that come and go, it feels like needles, and usually covers the chest area or it might be just on the one side. I also have trouble with a metallic taste in my mouth, and bad breath, which I think might come from the snus tobacco I use.
For the past 2 months, I've been having chest pains on the upper left side of my chest. It first began when I worked out, and felt a sharp pain and burn on that side. It got so bad, I was rushed to the ER, where they said I might have pluerisy. However, even with the medication, it has progressively gotten worse; Now, I don't have to be running or working out for it to hurt, even in the resting state I feel a sharp pain. I looked up the symptoms, and it sounds a lot like angina.
Thank you for your help. I have been having chest pain for about 2 years. Does your chest ache along the edges of your breastbone, and does your pain get worse when you cough or take a deep breath? It can be COSTOCHONDRITIS, an inflammation of the joints in your chest. Costochondritis usually goes away on its own. Try an anti-inflammatory medicine to relieve the pain. Heat compresses may also help. If the symptoms persist then get an evaluation done from a physician.
