chest

Avatar f tn Yes is like a sharp pain, my happens by my hip bone (kinda) on the right... good luck ladys, now we know that is part of the 13-14 weeks...
Avatar f tn when I feel a sneeze coming on (which is often with this head cold), I have to basically hold my sides and pull my knees up to my chest. If I don't, I'm in extreme agony and sometimes end up in tears.
Avatar f tn when I was around 30 weeks I was sick and sneezing and coughing were so painful to my uterus. It's like every little thing affects your uterus when you're pregnant. Now I'm 37 weeks and if I happen to sneeze, I nearly pee myself.
Avatar n tn i also have another unrelated question.. i at times have this very TIGHT feeling in the sides of my chest and am unable to breath without a lot of pain or not even at all. all i can do is not breath and try to breaht a couple seconds later to see if the feeling has gone away. does anyone know what is causing this? it happens very rarely but to the point where i am noticing it.
Avatar f tn Oh and next time bring your.legs up to your chest or hunch over..
2083688 tn?1334605261 thank you factorymomma for clearing that up! i was reading and thinking someone had to stop the madness! i don't understand why you would resist a sneeze at all? its not like its impolite to sneeze or anything. not only that but they are so satisfying when you do! they actually say that sneezing is close to a tiny orgasm! i always figure you are sneezing for a reason. i don't understand why you would hold them back every time. so i challenge you to let the sneeze out and see how it feels.
Avatar m tn I have tackacardia, cornary stint, highblood pressure. when i sneeze i suffer from chest pain, pain down both my arms, neck, and jaw. It almost makes me sick to my stomack. It doesn't last very long. I ask my doctor and he just shrugs it off. Can this be a sign of a serious heart problem?
Avatar n tn I am a 19 yo white female who has been experiancing excrutiating chest and right arm pain after sneezing. The pain starts in my upper chest, very similar to the pain experianced when one has a brochoncial infection and has been coughing for a long time. It racks around my chest cavity and is a very sharp, prolonged pain. The pain also moves down my right arm, stopping usually before it goes into my palm.
Avatar m tn But my question is has anyone ever had sneezing and coughing along with chest and stomach pain. Every time I cough my chest hurts all the way down to my belly button.
Avatar n tn I am not aware of a disease that would connect the two symptoms. The most likely cause of the chest pain would be a musculoskeletal strain exacerbated by the sneezing. If the echocardiogram was normal, you can consider a stress test for further cardiac evaluation if there is still concern about the heart. If these tests are negative, I would consider physical therapy to evaluate the chest pain. I agree with the ultrasound to evaluate the abdominal "pulsing".
Avatar n tn A related discussion, sneezing arm pain was started.
Avatar n tn A lot of pressure is built up in the chest and around the spine, with sneezing. This sounds like nerve pain, due to nerve compression from the pressure build-up. It is not a vitamin deficiency. You should have an x-ray to rule out disease of the structures surrounding the spinal cord in your neck.
Avatar m tn Sometimes even simple things like the smell of perfume and dust causes sneezing. Also once the sneezing starts it goes on continuously till i take some anti allergy medicines like cetzine. This has been going on for the past 10-12 year. It is always followed by a throat infections which gets relieved after a dose of antibiotics. But now the problems are getting worse. After even one sneeze i get to feel heaviness in breathing and start getting a pain in my upper back and neck.
Avatar n tn However, most chest pain that occurs with breathing and other chest movement is not cardiac in origin. However, if you have other medical conditions, chest pain can have other serious origins. You should contact your physician to discuss.
Avatar n tn Although I don't think that particular pain after sneezing is cardiac related I am concerned that he is heavy through the middle and has a resting pulse of 100-110 at only 24 years of age! His resting pulse shoud be about 65 and in good shape, even lower! He must be extremely deconditioned and that has a very poor long-term prognosis. He needs to get on the ball-- lose weight, get in shape ..sounds like he's already been told that. Good luck!
Avatar f tn I always have awful pain in my back when coughing or sneezing. It drives me nuts! That's why I do everything in my power to stay clear of colds, etc. With me, it has to do with a herniated lumbar disk. Do you have something like that? If not, I wonder if there's something going on in your lungs. I know sometimes the pain in the lungs can feel like its coming from the back. Maybe you should call your Dr and at least tell him the symptoms. Good luck and hope you feel better soon!
Avatar f tn i slipped at work on friday and fell forward and landed on my chest, at first i was winded and in pain. I have a pain in my chest which is sore to touch and im finding it difficult to breath without being in some sort of pain when i take a deep breath im in agony although as the days have passed the pain whilst breathing has eased slightly, however the thought of coughing or sneezing is a frightening thought as im in total agony when i do either and im on my knees when i do either.
Avatar f tn I'm having chest pains again!! I'm concerned because I haven't been lifting weights and my chest pain had gone away from May. I've been feeling a bit congested and have been sneezing; maybe I have a cold? I've had sharp pain in the left breast (same spot as the other two times), dull pain in my right breast, some random, dull/light pains in my arms and left thigh, and some achiness in my lower ribs.
9407801 tn?1403610548 when i sneeze i experience pain in my chest, shoulders which goes all the way to my palms. it lasts from a couple of seconds to minutes. sneezing is now a painfull experience. Its now about 6 months or so.
Avatar n tn Hi, if you do not have symptoms of breathlessness or chest pain, you don't have to worry. It could be muscle strain and should settle with time. So, dont worry and if painful, you can use OTC Acetaminophen for relief from pain. Take care. Regards.
Avatar f tn The sneeze doesn't come out of my nose or mouth which causes pain in my back or chest. Why has this occured in the past year?
Avatar n tn This was accompanied by myocarditis and perocarditis. Approximately 6 months later he began experiencing pain in the center of his chest whenever he sneezes. Could this be a side affect of the pleurisy?
Avatar n tn She checked my chest and said it was clear. I had no sinus pain or swelling. It got better, although didn;t cealr completely, but that was a month ago and it is still hanging on in there. Help! This discussion is related to Coughing up Phlegm on a daily basis.
Avatar n tn Curious as to if the sneeze had not occured, would it just have prolonged his chest pain and the inevitable were to happen anyways. was just wondering if the 'sneeze" expedited things? One more question thats bothering my mother. when he passed, he wet his pants. I keep trying to tell my mother this is a normal occurence but am looking for somethign more "detailed" to explain to her. She feels bad that his friends at work saw his wet pants and felt bad for my father....
Avatar f tn Also you could have a muscle pull or a pain in your rib-chest joint which is like a shooting pain. Since the joint is behind the breast, it feels like the pain is originating in the breast. However it is difficult to diagnose without examining. I think you should discuss these possibilities with your doctor. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted.
Avatar n tn I have had allergies and asthma all my life. when I have a sneezing/hay fever reaction, it's accompanied by the usual itching of palate and eyes, and my medications take care of it. But once or twice a month, I sneeze uncontrollably, hundreds of times, all day long, and nothing, not Allegra-D, not Claritin, not Benadryl, will stop it. And the weird thing is, this sneezing is NOT accompanied by the usual itching. when I have a "sneezing day," I am nonfunctional.
