Hey all. I'm 34 yrs old and I am overweight BMI 40. I have been having chest pain on my left side. It also shoots to my left armpit, side of left breast and I have numbness and tightness down my forearm into my hand. I went to urgent care on Friday and all I got was a high WBC indicating I have an infection somewhere! So I went to the ER and that dr, didn't seem to worried at all. Now it's Sunday and I still have pain tightness and heaviness.
If your mucus is discoloured like dark yellow to dark green and you get it by coughing then you have a bad infection in your chest. The pain is probably due to the coughing and the irritation of the infection and inflammation. If the mucus feels like its coming from the base of your chest then it suggests that the infection is quiet low down your respiratory tract.

For approx 2.5 weeks now I have had chest pain. It started in the centre and now radiates to the left and right. I am exhausted and can just make it to 730 each night.
Last weekend my chest felt like it was been sat on by an elephant. I went to the hospital they did an ecg that was fine, stress test for my heart passed no probs the only thing they discovered was mild tenderness where my gallbladder is as well as some indications of infection and inflammation in my blood work.
I have been have episodes of left chest pain and jaw pain for about 2 months. I have had a stress echo which was normal. I had a cardiac ct with calcium scoring in which my calcium score was 0 and my arteries were clear ( they couldn't see my right coronary artery completely but they assured me it wasn't my heart). I have been on Nexium for my stomach and have been referred to a GI doctor but I continue to have this pain and jaw tightness.

Anyways, I have been experianceing chest pain which have been happining to the left of the centre of the chest, sometimes accompinied with left arm pain. I havent had breathlessness as such but have had funny feelings in my chest while breathing. I had an ECG done, had my heartbeat checked and also blood pressure all of which turned out to be ok however, this was taken when the chest pain wasnt present or was bearly present. Anyway, I want to know if there is anything to worry about.
Hi guys. 19 y old m. Relatively healthy the only health problem known is asthma but not sever. I had these chest pains. it first started about 2 months ago with chest heaviness and discomfort but no pain. Then it went to chest as well as the heaviness and the discomfort. Went to GPs they said chest infection and antibiotics didn't work and went back had an EKG and chest x ray and blood test . All cam normal expected EKG was abit abnormal so put through to a cardiologist waiting list.

ive got a chest pain right in the center of my chest an inch to the right almost center of my man pecks. a sort of sharp pain occurs when i push my chest out or kinda move my right arm...i just had a bike accident and i kinda hurt my spine and also i just had a surgery on my tongue soo if that has anything to do with it i dont know but for the meanwhile im going to sit it out and see if it goes away. Does anyone have any suggestions or information on what and how to may treat this.
I have had chest pain for six days and it is getting worse. I had an ecg, blood tests and chest xray and nothing showed up. The doctor said it isn't my heart or lungs or any blood clots. The pain is on the right side of my chest and radiates to my bcak and right shoulder. I feel a little lightheaded and winded at times and have to walk slow because of that and the pain.
Hello. :) I'm a 25 year old, 5'4", 110 lb, female. I walk or bike at least 3 times a week for 35-45 minutes. I am on birth control pills. I am adopted and have no known genetic medical history. Since October I've been experiencing chest pains and am currently experiencing my third episode. I've always been very healthy and am, therefore, concerned about this somewhat recent chest pain stuff.
I got up this morning and have been having sharp chest pain, mostly on the right side and primarily when I breathe out. If I just sit here and do nothing I'm ok, but as soon as I get up and try to walk around I double over with this sharp pain in my chest.
It doesn't feel like I'm having a heart attack or anything, and I am not having difficulty breathing. It's just a sharp stabbing pain behind my right breast toward the center of my chest.

t able to expand my lungs enough to get in enough breath to fully expand my lungs! I have NEVER felt pain like it and I am a chronic pain patient with nerve pain. But this was not to be believed!
It's entirely possible that even after all this time you are still feeling the pain from the pleurisy they thought you had a month ago. If you feel there is something else going on, by all means go to either your local ER or to another doctor for a second opinion.
I was taken by ambulance to hospital last night for sharp pain in my left shoulder and a weired sensation feeling going through my chest and bad chest pain and chest tenderness they did blood work and a xray of my chest and ekg my xray and ekg looked just fine but my blood work showed my lungs to be elevated so they decided to do a ct scan with contrast which has the same sensation i keep feeling now in my chest to rule a blood clot out in my lungs the ct scan came back with negative results for

Another possibility that can explain the pain is pericarditis. It causes chest pain aggravated by laughing yawning and deep breathing and also causes radiation of pain to arms. Again an EKG, heat echo and chest X-ray is required. Do consult a doctor and get this examined. Take care!
