I'd get minor back pains after eating, I thought maybe it was the gastroparesis, due perhaps to some minor gastritis. Recently I had another EGD done to find out about some dysphagia I was having, in addition to stomach pain. Docs guessed mild gastritis/esophagitis which had cleared up by the time of the EGD. No unplanned events (no Barrett's, no polyps, etc). Despite this, I still have some back pain, usually 1/2 hour after eating, in my mid-left back.
I am overweight, but since this problem started I have lost 20 pounds and two clothing sizes. After I eat I get extreme pain in the mid to lower abdominal area, usually immediately or 15 minutes later. I am not hungry at ALL!!! I get extremely dizzy along with headaches. My stools have been light in color, and soft. Sometimes I have diarrhea days for days at a time. I have had the following tests done.
My mother has had a total gastrectomy, her esophagus was attached to her small bowel because she has had two colon surgeries. She has terrible pain after eating, it is 3 months after the surgery. She cannot eat unless she takes pain medication beforehand. They have started her on reglan but it has not helped so far. Has anyone else experienced this level of pain? What else can be done about it?
Ever since I woke up from the surgery I get a severe pain in my left shoulder everytime i eat something. It doesn't matter what I eat or how much I eat. The pain feels like someone is squeezing my shoulder as hard as they can. It makes it unbearable to move. If I eat a full meal then it feels like there's a balloon in my shoulder that expands when I breath and the person squeezing my shoulder is trying their best to pop it. Can anyone help me? PLEASE!!!

Also deep belching after even a drink of water. I have had postnasal drip for years, but this seems to be particularly bad now. My family Dr.

2 months before my heart attack I started to feel really bad chest pains after eating anything. I would sweat, vomit and go very dizzy. The pains would usually start about 5 mins after eating and last 15-20 mins. I was given an EKG and stress echo again, but nothing revealed itself. I was given yet more stomach pills. Too scared to eat, I went to my regular Doctor and complained because I was losing weight. He organised an appointment with a gastroenterologist, to scope my digestive system.
