I feel it in my lower back, right groin area, upper right abnomin, right flank, and in my side. I also have some aching pain in my right buttock, hip, and upper thigh area. If it where not for the abdominal pain, I would be almost certain that this was coming from my lower back. It seems to bother me more when sitting. I have to admit that I am a little scared that this might be coming from an organ. I do not have any changes in my bowels or urination.
I told him I did not think reflux becusae at this point the acid pain had stopped again and I was expieriencing pain other than that of burning and it was in my back and under my rib cage right side. I asked if reflux is felt in the back and he said well maybe. Nice answer..... Well the burning came back 5 months later and I decided to go to another Gastro and she told me to take the Zegerid for 30 dys and along with Fibercon once a day becuase it sounded like reflux.
I am pleased to say the pain in my lower right side has more or less gone however the pain in my upper right side is persisting. It sometimes feels like a stinging pain inside, it hurts when I breath and I am always aware of something under my right rib. It doesn’t respond well to exercise but I have put weight on with the pill and would rather the pain than put more weight on which I don’t imagine is helping. I have had unexplained diarrhoea, nausea and heartburn.
I have been experiencing pain in my right side at the bottom of my rib cage for the past several months. The pain gets worse after I eat certain foods, and worse when I am sitting down or lying on the right side. When I am sitting it feels like something is squeezing my rib cage very tightly. The pain sometimes radiates to my back and up to my shoulder blade. When I lay on my back I sometimes feel a squeezing, contracting,sensation. The pain is almost always present it just varies in severity.
Hello, sorry to hear about your back pain. I had upper back pain that ended up radiating down my arm and back and forth. I thought everyone would think I had gone crazy stating that the pain traveled. Also I had burning sensations and tingling. Turned out to be a pinched nerve in my neck C6&C7. When this happens there are tiny nerves that go down your back and down your arms. depending on which nerver produces the different locations of pain.
The heart burn and acid reflux was back, the stomache pain was almost unbearable. After the Hida scan I had pain in left and right side under my rib cage. Miserable heart burn that nothing helped and extrem nausea to the point that I couldn't eat.
I will go see this specialist. But to be honest, I have had enough. If he doesn't give me a resonable answer, I will stick to my diet and enough will be enough! I am tired of docs. and Hosp. tests ect...
Over the years it has grown to all over the upper right side at times. Front to back but mostly on the front. I have noticed also now I burp more and of late seem to get more indigestion. I have seen 3 gastrolgists and had every test you they could recommend except a liver core which the doctors don't want to do. 3 CAT Scans, Sonagrams, Camera down thru the stomach, Gall bladder test, Colonoscopies, Chalk up my intestines and no one can find anything.
Does it last a while? Contractions are 30 seconds to a min. When the baby is lying transverse you'll feel a burning pain in the pelvic socket and lower back.
what i mean is that the same place it hurts in my right upper side chest it hurts on my right side upper back its like the pain is in same place back and front " i have been getting this pain on and off for abt 4 weeks and recently for 2 days i have a sore throat , burning pain in throat and ears and goes down to stomach but no stomach pain ,swallowing is painfull , what can this be and is this something to go to the doctor abt or do i needto go to the emergency room for this .
I had a ultrasound done and it showd stones in my gallbladder, when I went to the er becuase of pain in the upper right side, they then did a ct scan but said perfectly healthy. They then say prob a soar muscle, went back to a diagnostic center had another sonogram and stated in fact I had a stone and enlarged gallbladder, also tenderness continues. Any suggestions?
I have had pain in my upper right side for almost a year now. Ive been on naproxen, nexium, dexilant, and many other medications but nothing is working. Ive been taking ibuphroen to ease the pain but its not helping any more. Ive had ultra sound on my stomach, ultra sound on gull bladder, die test on my gull bladder, x-rays, and many blood test run and they can't figure it out. Tommorrow im getting a scope test done but they act like thats not going to solve anything.
Hello I have been having experiencing right back pain that proceeds to the right front abdomin area. It is on line of both lower and upper quadrant area on the right side. The pain comes and goes but is very severe when it happens. I had a urinalysis done that came back fine, blood drawn (waiting for results), and the doctor wants me to get a ct scan done but without insurance thats impossible at this time. Any ideas or helpful suggestions?
Hello, I have developed a subtle upper back pain that is on the right hand side below the shoulder blades (6-8"). It is more noticeable when I lie down flat or have my back against a stiff or hard surface. It feels like I'm laying on a golfball or hardball. It doesn't appear to be related to respiratory function, although I have a dry cough after a recent cold. I am concerned it might be a growth, tumor or signs of problems w/ my pancreas.
I am 19 weeks pregnant be 20 weeks saturday. For the past several weeks I been having lower back pain on my right side. It gets to hurting so bad that I can't hardley move at times. This is my second child nd I never had this kind of pain with my first. Can some one please tell me what could be causing the pain?

Recently I have been having pain in my right side, in the area of the rib cage over the liver. I am Genotype 1a and had TX (pegalyated interferon and ribavirin) ten years ago but relapsed after a viral breakthrough at 6 months. A needle biopsy nearly three years ago showed Stage 1 fibrosis and Grade 2 inflammation which is about the same as a needle biopsy I had over ten years ago. A FibroSURE test of about a year ago showed F0 or "no fibrosis" and A0 or "no activity".
Does this explain my lower back and lower abdomen pain on my right side? every time i go the bathroom i feel the pressure on both lower back and abdomen..why would hemorrhoids cause this pain..should i be worried something else wrong?....Too add to this i dont know if its the stress about this situation but i am as well having headaches on the right side of my brain leading down to neck and upper back..
