Avatar f tn Your problem was your combo of drugs that strongly elevate your acetylcholine (ALCAR + alpha GPC + DMAE), AND you took something that inhibits the breakdown of acetylcholine (bacopa). Bacopa not only inhibits the breakdown of acetylcholine, also increases serotonin, which you helped by also taking tryptophan. Tryptonphan in high doses by itself is known to cause heart palpitations, and so does elevated acetylcholine.

The sinus atrial node is a clump of cells in your heart that put out an electrical current that causes the rest of your cells in the atrial center of your heart to contract. The electrical current continues into the ventricular node and causes the bottom of the heart to contract immediately after that.

At first, I noticed that Ashwagandha extract (which boosts acetylcholine receptor activity) made my sensitivity go away completely. Any choline supplement worked the exact same. But here is the problem: This boost in choline or Acetylcholine leaves me dangerously fatigued all the time. So much so that I am unable to work or get anything accomplished. It's horrifying.

My EF was between 12 and 15% before new stem cells. Have not had another EF test yet. I am diabetic(insulin dependent.) I do have a defibrillator and pacemaker.
