Diarrhea is usually a withdrawal symptom but you were nauseated (could be from the oxymorphone???, maybe consider visiting drugs.com to view a complete list of the side effects). Maybe others here can comment on that part.
Be very careful of how you taper the Klonopin. The withdrawal symptoms can cause seizures and be life threatening. And also be extra careful with mixing the klonopin and oxymorphone as they are both CNS depressants and their effects are additive.
I’ve been taking 5mg oxymorphone extended release pills for 8 years. I recently had to switch primary care doctors because mine moved away. The first urine drug test I was asked to do was last Friday and they called today and said the drug didn’t show up in my system, and dropped me as a patient. I should start withdrawals tomorrow & I’m scared out of my mind. I’ve never failed a drug test, asked for an early refill, nothing like that.
opana is oxymorphone, it is more potent than morphine and is somewhat similiar to oxycontin, it has lots of recreational abuse, as long as a good drug for pain management, when needed...
HI AND yes is the opana is not as strong mg wise as the oxy....im not sure what the exact rate of converse is but you have to take enough to cover your dose of oxy....time to talk to your doctor and let him know whats going on no need to suffer in withdrawals ............

not only did i go back to taking hydrocodone but i started taking more. i then moved to oxycodone , about 60-150mg i also take opana(oxymorphone) 40mg ER but i crush and snort them. when i was on here i took apprx. 12 10mg pills a day about 30mg at a time. now when i take 7 10mg pills i dont feel anything. is the increase in my tolerance going to vastly affect the withdrawal process in severity or length?
So I needed to take pain pills I was taking OPANA oxymorphone 10mg about 10-15/day. Clearly after 8 1/2months I was addicted and scared to death. But last friday I gave the remainder of pills to my sponsor and went thru withdrawal. By Saturday evening I was pretty sick so I started Subutex and that at first made me sicker. But after about 4 days I came out of it. Plus I was going to 2 meetings per day. I think the subutex helped a little.

Immediately after the accident, my orthopaedic doctor put me on percocet. When they run out, I supplement with oxymorphone (opana) or oxycontin. The doses I have been taking daily are very low (30-40mgs) but if I do not have them I do experience withdrawal symptoms (I believe I am a bit more sensitive to them because of my previous addiction). I want to get off everything now while its still short term but I cant seem to do it because of the discomfort of the withdrawal.
I dont see much about it in these posts but I have been taking oxymorphone(OPANA) for FBS.I have been addicted to Meth cocaine and alcohol in the past but have been free from those chains for 10 years.My disease has resurfaced with this Opana though.I have cut my intake from 20 mg a day to 10 mg a day for the past three days.I have been blessed to avoid the terrible sickness of opiate withdrawl that I went through last year with this **** when I went CT off of it.
I was actually dehydrated and could not pee for my UDtest so they took blood and it came back positive for oxymorphone, noroxycodone, and noroxymorphone at low levels but on a zero tolerance test any amount is a positive. Are these items that could be from just taking the oxycodone and my body coverts it to this or is the test flawed.
Jan 2017 my prescription insurance changed and I had to choose either the ER form or the IR form of Oxymorphone. I (wrongly) chose the IR form, and within a few months began having trouble making my 5 pills a day last 24 hours. I'd wake in the middle of the night in pain and sometimes had to take a 6th pill to get back to sleep.
Nubain is an opiate... there really isn't a 'drug' to use to detox from it. Look at the Thomas Recipe on the right side of the page for help during the detox period. The withdrawls should be the worst for the first week- then it's downhill from there, so if she can hang in there that long- she should be ok.
I have built up a tolerance to oxycodone IR that I have had to take 3 times my dose just to get my pain to get down to a moderate level. The research I have done is that oxymorphone is stronger and less mg. I have several questions. Are taking less mg easier on the body? How do I ask my doctor to switch, I don't want to seem like just another patient trying to get high.
I've just been switched from Fentanyl 25mcg every 48 hrs to Oxymorphone 10mg every 12hrs. I feel way worse (pain) & was wondering if anyone knows what the equivalence is between the 2. I have a feeling I've just been decreased in pain relief. My dr & the pharmacist told me to wait a few days to "feel it's working" & in the meantime I'm in excruciating pain. Can anyone help with what I can do here? Btw...
Oxycodone is metabolized by the liver into oxymorphone. Oxymorphone is about 2 times stronger than oxycodone based on pharmacology. When I was first switched to Opana, the drowsiness and tiredness were unreal! It was a real struggle for me at first and I also have a desk job. However, the sedation effects only lasted for a month at the most. Now I don't get sedated anymore and in fact I am more alert than I was on Morphine.
will it show up if being tested for opioids or just synthetic opioids? i came up positive on a drug screen for oxymorphone and i was perscribed to percocet.. can u please explain?
Stands to reason that:
2 x 5mg Percocet = 1 x 10mg Oxycontin
Don't quote me on that though. I know Percocet has both Oxymorphone AND Acetaminophen in it, and Oxycontin has Oxymorphone only. I'm not certain what the Acetaminophen brings to the table as far as drug-interactions go, but your statement that the Perc and the Oxy are the same (2x5mg vs. 1x10mg) sounds about right.
Maybe someone in the Pain-Management Community would know.
But I was on about 10 10mg hydrocodone ,1 to 2 40 mg oxys, about 2-5 somas a day, mind it if I made more money at work that week( commission job) it was significantly more that that, with fentanyl suckers/ patches, the 100mcg, oxymorphone, roxys, ect. But I got on suboxone,and that helped with the withdrawls better than anything and it's not methadone. My thing is that when I got on suboxone, I started school again, working, dating, ect. I had my life back.
Did they check off oxymorphone (opana) or morphine on the lab slip? Oxymorphone (Opana) is a semi-synthetic opioid, unlike morphine which is an opiate.
If there was an error is the test request, that could explain the false negative.
Btw, Opana is available in generic form- oxymorphone hcl ER by globabal pharmaceuticals. I know because I take it currently.
