oxycontin song

Also, have any of you experience a sense of retaining water when taking pain pills? My DOC has now been oxycontin, but before it was norco/vicodin. I feel like since I'm on oxycontin, I'm drinking alot of fluids during the day and retaining a large amount of it. Hence the frequent urination at night.

and It does have a sad, perfect song to It... but those one animal cruelty commercials where Sarah Mclachlan (sp?) Is singing that "Arms of an Angel" song and It shows poor lil' sad animal clips... It makes me wanna adopt every single one of those poor things! Opana is a nice step up from Oxycontin. It is 10x stronger than Oxycontin. If you were to take a 40mg tab of Opana, it would be like taking 60-80 mg of Oxycontin. If your Pain Management Doc recommends it over the Oxycontin then I would suggest trying it. I feel that you'll get better pain relief from it.

d really had enough, hopefully for real this time. My habit got back to 240-320mg of oxycontin a day. I am pretty sick right now, fighting through wd's, anyones support is so appreciated. Just trryin to keep it one day at a time.

Tonite first time since Roger passed last month that I could even listen to music. Ever hear the song Hallelujah, not the church song? It's making me cry and feel good at same time. Grieving and going thru this at the same time is heart-breaking and rough to say the least. Funny, he would go to a vet for help before a dr, believed they would either cure you or kill you and didn't believe in pain meds, doc told him one good stiff drink a night to relax, but just one!

what is your favorite song and why? mine is led zepplin stairway to heaven. The ltrics all together dont make sense but man what an awesomw song and the guitar solo wooo. Some of you have been following my posts the last 12 days and know I'm recovering from crystal meth. Today is day 12. I've had a lot of ups and downs as I'm sure most people can relate. Today I listened to a song that opened the flood gates for me but it's okay I needed a good cry! It's called Say Something by A Great Big World. It starts out with the words "say something I'm giving up on you". Wow.

This is a song by Kenny Chesney about alcoholism but any one addicted to any substance can really identify with it.

Katy Perry, Is it just me or is this the worst "One Hit Wonder" that won't go away. Other than "Celine Dion's..."My heart will go on" ...Now that was a nice song, just soooo overplayed !!! I think the song is gross, and actually walked into a store next to some children and I felt really embarassed and kinda Old...... Am I just getting old???........this song really annoys me !!!!!!

I am not a big fan of Miley Cyrus but when I heard this song...it reminded me so much of just how much of a battle Thyroid issues are. This song gives me Inspiration and would like to share the words with you Guys , hoping that if someone does happen to listen to this song...they will will be inspired. i agree with lostmakeupgirl. i also am a VALID PAIN MANAGEMENT PATIENT. i didn't think id become a junkie over oxycontin but i did. i didn't think id stoop to the lows i have done but i did. i also find it rude and non productive to tell addicts how selfish we are. and if you reread rhe post he/she is scared that we will be the reason the drug is pulled from his/her life. that is the start of addiction in itself. reread how focused fourfer is on that. and fourfer is uneducated.

Is there anyone who has any tips for how to go through a bad oxycontin withdrawal? I am wondering if there are any specific foods, vitamins, activities etc. that will help shorten or relieve the inevitable withdrawals. I feel so foolish for ever getting myself addicted to these horrible things. It started when I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed years ago and the doctor gave me a prescription. Now I have been off an on them for years. I need to get my life back.

Ive been taking about 100mgs of oxycontin a day for about 1.5 month now. What do i do? Quit cold turkey or taper off? I cannot take days off work.
