Avatar f tn Its supposed to be the best thing for fibro and for weight loss. I have been told to just get up and start by a walk to the end of the block. Wish I had a fellow "challenged" pain patient to take those first few steps with everyday. Prayers to you -you are not alone.

29837 tn?1414534648 This is the weight I weighed at 27 years old. For many years now, my weight has been 185. The now weight of 175 lbs. is a loss of 17 lbs. in less than 3 weeks after leaving the hospital. Funny thing is, my appetite is ravenous, my blood tests all came beck fine last week, as well as still cleared of Hep C. My energy level is normal I've heard somewhere that because muscle weighs, it has to be taken into consideration when weighing someone.
Avatar f tn I have been on opiates on & off almost 2 years. The doctor switched me to oxycodone 6 months ago & I have been a daily user since then. I also take gabepentin & Baclofen for pain & muscle spasms the pain triggers. About 2-3 months ago I started feeling pressure in my ears & tinnitus in my right ear, especially at night. I saw my allergist and he said I might have hearing loss. Now I need to see an ENT to get my ears checked.
Avatar n tn The thickening of the gall bladder may not even be the primary problem in this case, as a condition that would produce weight loss, sleep loss, aches and pains, may also be causing stress on the gall bladder. Discuss your concerns with your doctor, a second opinion may also be helpful.
Avatar n tn I'm haven't heard of a link between Oxycodone use and hair loss. I googled it and didn't see anything indicating that the two are related either.
Avatar f tn all the time and breaking out from the patch, He then prescribed morphine 15mg extended release 2 times a day. Anyway, I had a gastric bypass weight loss surgery in 2008 and I remembered the Doctor saying to me that extended release medication will not be effective anymore because of the intestines being cut or shortened. I can not remember why exactly but does anyone know for sure about this? I would really like to get information so I can let my PM doc. know.
Avatar n tn Can i take 30 mg oxycodone without and tylenol ot anything in it safely 3x's a day and my baby be ok? I am only 8 weeks and been on these for 2 years. Also, i wanted to know if i should try to come off of them at least a month or two before it is born so it doesn't go through withdrawl symptoms?
Avatar m tn fast weight loss is most of the time lost water and muscles. Fat takes ages to go away. Third: Think of a diet as something permanent. Crash diets just help you gain weight faster once they are over. So, pick some simple rules of a balanced and healthy diet, and follow them. Don't sweat it if you crave for something "bad", to a balanced diet belongs the bad side, too. If you give in now to a small piece of chocolate, it is much better than to eat two whole packages later.
Avatar f tn Yes please talk to your dr, there are many things that could cause rapid or excessive weight loss and some of them can be serious. In addition to Thyroid and GI testing maybe ask about diabetes. It seems odd, but it can cause weight loss.
Avatar f tn I promise you your completely fine. I'm 19 weeks haven't gained any weight. Lost weight and the baby is perfect. It didn't matter how tall or how much you weight as long as baby measures up during ultrasound it's perfectly fine.
Avatar f tn More can be lost through water weight with diuretics and crash dieting can also increase fat loss but only for a short time. When we lose fat too fast our metabolism will slow in order to conserve fat (fuel) deposits (starvation mode) and that creates new problems such a resetting the metabolic rate and fat gains during the plateau, etc.
10299247 tn?1409208876 I am 19 weeks and have lost 23 lbs. I to was about 185 when I got pregnant and was considered over weight. My Dr isn't concerned at all about weight loss and I have been terribly sick the whole pregnancy too. Dr just tells me to eat what I can and what will stay down. Also to drink lots of water. Right now baby girl is measuring a head of schedule so as long as she's fine I'm fine. If your dr isn't concerned I wouldn't be either.
10025015 tn?1422498264 Why is my doctor so worried about me losing weight instead of gaining it? Before pregnancy i was 210, and today at my 12 week appointment i dropped to 198. I'm actually happy about the loss but i know i'm supposed to gain weight instead but it's just being sick & being nauseaded!
Avatar f tn I'm 10 weeks and down about 7 pounds. The doctor isn't concerned.
10822330 tn?1413073760 If you have a normal BMI, the weight loss you're reporting corresponds to people fasting on water only, i.e. getting no food whatsoever. As others said, this is a serious matter and you should discuss it with your Dr asap.
