oxycodone valium

been taking Adderall valium and oxycodone for 12 years all drug tests have shown compliance. now I got a false neg and cant get medicine when I took them as prescribed. what could cause that? tried cbd oil but nothing else, the blood test said I didn't take the valium and adderal and a small amt of oxycodone. I took them all that am . why is it wrong?

And my dr also detoxed me from Oxycodone at the same time as the valium. A double hell.

t know if I can take the pain I have without medication. I also take oxycodone 15mg 2x a day, and a 10mg valium at night to help me sleep, and also for pain in my muscles & joints. I have cut down to 200 norco a month, and want to get off them, but don't want to be sick and in pain. Help!

t taper off of hydrocodone? I did with the valium. I had to go back on the valium and then my pcp weaned me off of it and it took 4 months and then I still had some lingering symptoms but they finally went away. I was only on the valium for 14 months and have been on the Lortab for 3 years at 6 a day. Can any one here please help me with some information? I'm about to go crazy! I was curious about the Oxycodone and the valium also. Why were they prescribed? just the two together seems odd for a doctor to prescribe.

Hydrocodone has the same side effects as does Oxycodone. If you are susceptible to become drowsy from Oxycodone, then it is safe to assume the hydrocodone may make you sleepy as well. On the other hand I have heard some people say that Hydrocodone gives them more energy and insomnia when they take it, so it really depends on how your body reacts to it. No two people are the same in that regard. I remember when I used to take Norco I never knew if I would get drowsy or hyper when I took it.

Have gotten addicted to oxycodone for about 10 months now. When I called for a refill my doc would not refill the script. This weekend and still I am going through withdrawal. Today (3/4/08) makes day 5. How long does this goes on? Managed to sleep one night. Seems night is the worst time for me. That is when I would wake up every 2 hours and take 2 until about 6:00 am. My arms are crazy. No sweating today. Just sore arms.

Hi mpace6983, all I can say is I had the same problem with Tramadol and I also got insomnia from Tramadol and hydrocodone. So, I think you could try Valium but that is stronger I think. Maybe you have a cross reaction with another drug too? I know you will get a better answer on this site. Good luck and hope your pain gets better.

Did you tell the doctors who are tapering you that you are feeling w/d's? We aren't MD's here, and everyone is different, but I would take an medical doctor's advice over people who dont' know you or your health history on the internet. If you've been a long time user, there may be no way to avoid feeling like crap for a while. Withdrawing from benzo's, I'm told, is not easy.

it does not have avery powerful onset like xanax but is just as strong as xanax...i was told that valium is a better choice for detox as far as addiction to the benzo goes...sounded odd as valium got such a bad reputation when it came out but it was one of the first to really hit the markdet and be prescribed alot....i researched it and found that it is true...valium is safer than the two mentioned above..all should be used with caution...i used it during detox and ..

Does anyone know if it is safe to take valium while you are on suboxone? My husband is trying to detox with suboxone and we need to know if he can take it safely. Also, the suboxone doesn't seem to be taking away his withdrawls, he is antsy, has rls, hot and cold, sneezing, nauseaus, very very sick. He has been taking 24-32mg of suboxone and I thought that was a really high dose. He was on about 900mg of oxycodone a day, so maybe that has something to do with it? Anyone please help!

I have fracture disk compressed disk and bulging disk. And i am also on Valium 10 mg 2 times day i stopped taking the Valium the second i found out. But my pain in my back is so bad its so hard to go with out the pain meds . But i did cut down from 4 times a day to 3 . please help and please dont judge me i have really bad arthritis and at times i cant get out of bed :(.

It did not really help me that much but each person is different. Also the Valium is also very addictive but if you do take it split it in half because you may feel out of place the next day (like your not already). I took an herb called melatonin to help me to sleep. I hope this helps a little! Good luck! Praying for you!

My doctor also gave me a prescription for Hydrocodone Acetaminophen to take instead of the Oxycodone for when I was ready. I tried to replace the Oxycodone with the Hydrocodone but it gave me tremendous nausea and terrible anxiety the one day I took it...I almost had a panic attack in the middle of the night and thought my husband was going to have to cal 911! My situaton is have been taking Xanax, Valium, Oxycodone, Morphine and Hyodrocodone for about 20 years. I went to a Methadone clinic and stopped after about a week. I have been prescribed benzos for 20 years, Xanax, Valium and Clonopin. I do not like Xanax but take it because am afraid of having a seizure. This happened 3 weeks after stopping the medicine.

It actually recommends valium during the first week or 2 of detox...I used valium...i would take lil pieces during the day when I felt anxious..I did not use it to sleep tho..I used phenergan to sleep xanax is the strongest benzo of the bunch//avoid it if u can..valium has a reputation cos it was the firtst benzo on the market//in reality it is not near as strong as xanax//ativan and klonopin r the 2nd strongest benzos... we do what we gotta do..

i have been taking 20 mg. of oxycodone hydrochloride daily for over two years (5 mg. 4 x daily) due to my leg having been badly crushed in an auto collision on December 2, 2008.. No non-narcotic analgesics have proved effective in diminishing the persistent pain, which i recognize will continue, indefinitely, to be an integral part of my (now 58-year old) life......

Have severe l5-s1degenerative disease, t4-t5 s1 t8 herniations, spondylosis, severe narrowing of lower spine. Never ever took pain killers and I'm 47. For two months I've been on Vicodin,Percocet,didlauted, oxymorphone,valium, Flexeril,soma, Ativan, and none of those provided any relief. I was given fentanyl 25 on the patch for a month and really worked for a bit, but still had to take oxycodone 15 mg for break through. Pain still there.
