Avatar n tn I have been prescribed Acebutolol for PVC's and I am literally exhausted since beginning this medication but I didn't see that as one of the side effects. Also, my vision is blurred. Is this normal?
2030686 tn?1351688548 Chills, body aches, fever or flu like symptoms are all normal side effects of interferon. High doses of vicodin means you're getting a high dose of acetaminophen which can be very liver unfriendly. Those with hepc should not exceed 2000 mg of acetaminophen daily. If you must use pain management drugs for an existing condition perhaps you should talk to your doctor about prescribing something without acetaminophen such as a low dose oxycodone or Tramadol.
382218 tn?1341181487 OK, so I picked up my prescription for Neurontin and noticed in the pt info that one of the potential side effects is DOUBLE VISION. How ironic. So now I'm reluctant to start them until I can discuss this with my neurologist. I have had double vision for 4 and a 1/2 months now, and the last thing I need is anything that my halt my progress or make things worse. For those of you who take/took Neurontin, did this cause double vision for any of you?
Avatar f tn I appreciate the help with the side effects, I was trying to figure out if I was having normal side effects and which would be from the Tylenol and which from the oxy. I am trying to make sure I take breaks when I can handle them from the meds, so I don't get dependant or addicted. But the pain gets so bad that I can't sleep for a few days, then I finally take something and wonder if I am in fact getting addicted? Scary, I have seen addiction in my family and it is not good.
486867 tn?1307139011 Hi my DH has been on Clomid for almost 2 months. He just started having vision problems. For the last couple of weeks he's been seeing floaters in the right side of vision. I called my RE office a few days ago and they said for him to start taking every other day instead of everyday and well see if that helps. Does anyone know if this side effect is really bad or if it can cause long term damage?

600857 tn?1230057770 OK, here's the "strange one" of the group. I have taken Vicodin for 4 years. It only makes me "grumpy" at the end of a day when I have over done my limitations and I am hurting and absolutely nothing works to ease my pain. My family knows when it's one of those evenings and they are kind enough to leave me alone and let me be a "B" all by myself. I don't even want to be around anyone. But those days are not often.
Avatar f tn - benicar is known to have some wild side effects , such as Gas -bloating belly- uncontrolled passing gas!, and vision problems such as eye lids being lazy or not working well. blurred vision is another as well - no energy or power ! it robbs you of normal energy or power you had , no get up and go.. it got up and went with the benicar and other meds for b.p. its best to ask your Doctor to take you off it, asap and switch to something that isnt so harsh on you !
2080404 tn?1643113754 Hi there. Is this better? Prozac does give some gi side effects. When my son started this, he had nausea and it lasted for about a week and a half and then began getting better. He chewed ginger gum, ate tums and peptobismal chews. They seemed to help him. Was trazadone new as well? I will say that unless something is really awful, giving a full trial is best in my opinion. My son actually needed the full dose of prozac of 80 mg, so prepare that they may tweak your dosage as well.
Avatar n tn Less common side effects include cardiac arrhythmias, blurry or double vision and/or the temporary loss of blood cells or platelets and in rare cases can cause aplastic anemia. The symptoms you are experiencing may be due to the effects of your medication. However, before starting or shifting to new medication, I suggest that you discuss this with your doctor first to avoid any adverse effects or seizure brought about by changes in medication. Take care and regards.
Avatar f tn I agree, a change in your vision is one of the rare side effects of clomid. Femara is another similar drug that can be used, and usually without as many side effects. If I were you, I would try to talk to the doctor about this as soon as possible. I don't really have any experience with PCOS, but eating better and exercising certainly wouldn't hurt. Good luck to you and I hope you get this all figured out soon!

Avatar f tn I do know that all antipsychotics can cause anti-cholinergic side effects which are typically blurred vision, dry mouth and sometimes trouble urinating so you could speak to your psychiatrist about that as one potential cause.
