I am on the couch with a lot of pain and at least for the next few days I am taking 5mg of Oxycodone, every 3-4 hours, depending on pain levels. I am really struggling to get my blood sugar levels even close to normal. For what it's worth, I am on an insulin pump and have great control (I avg. 5.8 A1C's). The only additional drugs I take are either Tylenol or Ibuprofen, again if needed and maybe every 4-6 hours or so, never at the same time unless they are at least 2-3 hrs apart.

i am suspposed to take 15mg Oxycodone 3 a day and i am to have to take a blood test for a leavel check. how many shoul i take and how long before should i start taking them. Please help. Someone got into my meds and stole them and now i need to know how many i need and how long before i should start taking them. thank u.

I willingly gave blood. The test came back saying there was no oxycodone in my system. I recently had gastric bypass surgery and was wondering if maybe I'm not absorbing the drug. I was allowed to take the urine test home just to play with. When I urinated in the drug strip cup it showed that I was in fact taking them, but I can't prove this to the doc since I took the test at home. Any thoughts?

my oxycodone levels where a little high in my blood but I had just taken my medication one hour prior to the test with grapefruit juice witch I now know not to do cause it can cause high levels but my PM Dr is concerned about the other drugs in my blood. is this just because I have been on it so long and they have built up in my blood due to longterm use or should I go back to the specialist and get my kidney liver and bladder rechecked.

I had back surgery for scoliosis in may of 2006 they tried many pain killers but oxy was the best. I asked up front, as I do not take medications usually, if it was addicting I was told no. NO. Now here I am 2 years later not knowing if I am taking my 20 mg pills 4 to 6 times a day because I hurt or because of these withdrawl symtoms. I lost my job because I was unable to go back to work and now my disability is running out in August. i need to get off of these things.

I have been on oxycodone 15mg. Four times a day for four years. I am in such a horrible trap. I thought by switching to Belbuca I could manage the pain with less side effects, as this is what I have been told. Any comments/insight on the differences in Belbuca and Oxycodone, I would love to hear from you.

With regular use of oxycodone containing pain medicines,most urine drug screens should remain positive for oxycodone for 1-2 days and in some rare cases 3 days. A small percentage of ppl metabolize oxycodone more rapidly than normal, but this should not affect the ability of the screen to detect the drug in urine. You physician can answer this question more accurately.

Even with this withdrawal-ease stuff which does help during the day cause I havent been down to 4 or 5 10mg oxycodone in 3 or 4 years but still doesnt help in morning. Anyone know why that is.

Two days before that she took 2 EPT test and it came up positive with a faint line but then on the 16th she took another EPT test and the line was bright and sooooo positive. Anyhow the blood work said she was in the 25 percentile or something like that. Be careful as you will build a tolerence to any opiates you take. Take them sparingly. Hello, I have triple tongue piercing and I find it difficult to breath sometimes to the point of brain hemorrhage, or something like that, where blood rushes from my brain to my throat/lower tongue and I feel like vomiting. The pain is about a 6 on the pain scale, but the brain hemorrhage is worrying. I think I can benefit from oxycodone but I'm afraid to ask a doctor because they will just tell me to take out the piercings if it's that bad, and that's not what I am going to do.

We have had 4 different sets of antibiotics, a CAT Scan, MRI Scan, Blood tests all blank. Dentist has checked his teeth. They are saying there is now no infection in his ear and suspect its Neuropathic Pain. Paeditricion put him on carbamazepine for 5 weeks with no effect. We are now on 20mg amitriptyline and again no decrease in Pain. BUT since we upped from 5mg to 10 he has said that the pain has increased?

t take it away but make life a little bit easier. I also take Tizanadine and oxycodone for flare ups. In the morning I start taking Savella the new Fibromyalgia medication. My Rheumatologist gave me a four week starter pack of Savella today. I'm really nervous to take this medication because both Cymbalta and Lyrica were horrible medications for me. Yes my gallbladder was removed in September (this was when I got the Hep C, from blood transfusions after I had internal bleeding in my liver.) The percentage of patients who actually have liver issues with taking the oxycodone in high dosages is actually quite minimal so I wouldn't be too concerned, just insist on those blood tests every 90 days to ease your concerns.

My fiance takes oxycodone or percocet on a regular basis - he was never prescribed this for pain, he was introduced to it through a "friend". I just found out that because my doctors have given me clonidine Valium and oxycodone this has interfered with my detoxing off of the methadone . It's been 22 days off methadone and I couldn't figure out hy I keep having waves of anxiety and depression. I was just told by a person that it's because those other drugs have been interfering with my detox.
