Avatar f tn I'm curious if you are on any prescription meds? I have had patm for over two years. I take Wellbutrin (bupropion) for depression. I'm experimenting with a few weeks without the medication and I think it may be reducing reactions. Any one else on prescription meds, specifically depression medication?
Avatar m tn Is Oxybutynin dangerous to dogs? I am not sure my dog ate a pill, but I did drop 1 or 2 on the floor. I found one. My 6-month-old spaniel/lab mix is about 30 lbs.
Avatar f tn Get your urologist or GP to prescribe you an anti-spasmodic medication. I use Oxybutynin, as it works best for me, but there are numerous others on the market. Are you sure your stone is 4cm??? That's awfully large for a kidney-stone. There are 'staghorn' stones that form inside the kidney itself and fill the cavities of the kidney (the 'poles' of the kidney) that may get that large, but the chances of having a 4cm stone in your bladder are slim.
Avatar f tn Can I take 2 or 3 Ibuprofen and 1 phenazoptridine 100mg and 1 oxybutynin 5mg The Dr, gave me Cipro to take 2 hrs, before I go to Drs, will this help me or not? If not what can I do to prevent the bad pain I hear about after stent removal. please help me.
Avatar f tn I'm 33 year old male, I was diagnosed with phimosis 2yrs ago. I've been having the constant urge to urinate but with only a low flow and sometimes spraying. I've been through testing for uti, std, bladder cancer (cystoscopy) but yet know one can give me an answer as to why I always have the urge. I've taken meds (flomax, oxybutynin, and diptromin) none of them worked. Help!!! I'm to young for this to be happening.
Avatar f tn A doctor who was a MD looked at my genital and said looks like no disease but some yeast infection it looks dry,she asked me if I am diabetic, then I explained the situation what I did with it,she was assuming i myself cause the problem with the sanatizer and later she took tests for STD and it came back negative, but mean while I had frequent urination and sudden diarrhea for 3 days and when I went back for second visit the doc said she will see my urine in microscope and results still normal no
Avatar f tn Hello Everyone, I am a 32 male, 5'10, 205lbs. I work out 5-6 times a week and eat on the healthier side. As far back as I can remember I get hot extremely easily and sweat profusely on my forehead, middle of my chest, and middle of my back. The heat seems to come in almost a wave, and I can feel it rising until it reaches my head(hope this description makes sense), and I can never seem to cool down. An odd part about this is, on occasion, my feet will be extremely cold at the same time.

Avatar f tn Is this the result of a medication for Depression? or is it just that issue?
359574 tn?1328360424 It was just a talking visit. She wanted to know if the medication was working, if the side effects were too troublesome, and whether there was anything else we needed to address. I have had only a couple of accidents--probably just BECAUSE I am trying to lengthen my holding powers. One was at work and my darling hubby brought me fresh jeans. I think the medicine, oxybutynin chloride, has just started to be helpful in the last week or two. It's not drying me out excessively.
Avatar f tn PS. The other drugs I'm taking are...Chlortalidone, Oxybutynin, and Lisinopril. I take cal/citrate, fish oil, flax and E along with those prescribed meds.
Avatar n tn My 7 y.o. is awaiting a pediatric urology appt but is currently taking oxybutynin 10 mg. After months of her primary thinking it was vag related, a ped gyn dx'd bladder contraction/spasms. These are daily... all day... and now waking her in the night. She is going half crazy from the constant discomfort, which she eases by pressing on her vag area. This is interfering, of course, with her everday life.
4133020 tn?1350310377 My 13 year old daughter is swelling in her hands and feet very bad! Her finger tips are turning blue and she says it hurts in the palm of her hand. Her feet when swelled burns whens she walks. She's had a sweating problem for awhile now and takes Oxybutynin Chloride 5mg x 3 a day. Even though the med had been controlling the sweating, she's sweating very bad. She's freezing cold and then the next minute she's hot. She's very tired and weak.
461014 tn?1233100391 My 6yr old still has issues with wetting the bed at night and having accidents during the day. We have had her tested quite a few times in the past few years for bladder infections and we have even tried Oxybutynin. The doctor can never seem to find any "problems" that are causing her to have these accidents. He just says she should out grow it. But it's only seeming to get worse. She wets the bed almost everynight and she's been having more than one accident a day at school.

Avatar m tn i went to a doctor several times, they checked my urine, did psa test, did post void ultrasound and said everything is normal. doctor prescribed some oxybutynin which after doing research, i found out is for overactive bladder, but i dont have any of the symptoms that i found listed for this condition. anyway, i was desperate so i said to doctor i will give it a try but there is no improvement whatsoever after taking pills for over 2 weeks. any idea?
Avatar f tn Hi all, a bit about my history, have had an overactive bladder treated for about last 20 years with oxybutynin and whilst not perfect, everything was fine to live a normal lifestyle, play sports, gym, go out drinking etc, I’m now 38, male. A couple of years ago I felt like what was a trapped nerve around my coccyx area and was unable to sit down for a couple of days, the pain was excruciating.
Avatar f tn Hi, What surgery was done? Could you post us some information on that. Hyperhidrosis (over sweating) could have serious underlying causes that may require surgery or antibiotics in severe cases. Only your health care provider can diagnose these types of issues. If your doctor should deem your sweating is abnormal, ask him/her about Drysol. Drysol is aluminum chloride hexahydrate and when applied to the underarms works to block the sweat glands and plug the pores.
Avatar f tn long term anti-depressant/anxiety medication and over use of caffeine(mainly soda). if i do not drink caffeinated soda, i do notice that i go less. it is still however a disruption of my daily life. i feel self-conscious when going somewhere in a car with friends, because i know i will have to stop to pee at least 3 times. not that they really care but it's annoying!
