Avatar f tn Yup, just before I noticed PATM. I've stopped taking it because I think I damaged my gut and now these out of this world bacteria are causing this. Hopefully in time it will reheal and I can be rid of this curse.
Avatar m tn Is Oxybutynin dangerous to dogs? I am not sure my dog ate a pill, but I did drop 1 or 2 on the floor. I found one. My 6-month-old spaniel/lab mix is about 30 lbs.
Avatar f tn But they are usually prescribed short term. Medications called alpha one adrenergic antagonist are usually prescribed for the stent discomfort. They are terazosin, doxazosin, tamsulosin and alfuzosin. Sometimes anticholinergic medications like oxybutynin (ditropan), detrol or vesicare may help. Please consult your doctor, he will prescribe appropriate medications for you. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Avatar f tn I'm 33 year old male, I was diagnosed with phimosis 2yrs ago. I've been having the constant urge to urinate but with only a low flow and sometimes spraying. I've been through testing for uti, std, bladder cancer (cystoscopy) but yet know one can give me an answer as to why I always have the urge. I've taken meds (flomax, oxybutynin, and diptromin) none of them worked. Help!!! I'm to young for this to be happening.
Avatar n tn My 7 y.o. is awaiting a pediatric urology appt but is currently taking oxybutynin 10 mg. After months of her primary thinking it was vag related, a ped gyn dx'd bladder contraction/spasms. These are daily... all day... and now waking her in the night. She is going half crazy from the constant discomfort, which she eases by pressing on her vag area. This is interfering, of course, with her everday life.
Avatar f tn Hello Everyone, I am a 32 male, 5'10, 205lbs. I work out 5-6 times a week and eat on the healthier side. As far back as I can remember I get hot extremely easily and sweat profusely on my forehead, middle of my chest, and middle of my back. The heat seems to come in almost a wave, and I can feel it rising until it reaches my head(hope this description makes sense), and I can never seem to cool down. An odd part about this is, on occasion, my feet will be extremely cold at the same time.
Avatar f tn Hi, The med methotextrate has a warning on the packet in australia for sun exposure. It has a warning that sun exposure can make you feel ill and exacerbate any symptoms. Hope this help Take care.
Avatar f tn I had physical symptoms that sound similar to yours!!! I ended up with a hole in my septum but no other long term effects. I would try not to worry too much until you see the ENT! Its great that you have stopped for a month now! Have your physical symptoms gotten any better now that you arent using? Stay off of it now that you have a month!!! Its a dangerous drug that psychologically just wants to keep pilling you back in!! Keep posting and let us know how you are getting on!!!
7163794 tn?1457366813 myself to get up? Is this in my head, or is it possible there are long term effects to pain meds and suboxone use? Could it just be me? Has anyone else felt this?
214255 tn?1205635636 My doc suggests that according to studies, long term use at a stable level, followed by long term taper has the lowest relapse rates. So with me he has me on the same dose as the beginning and we will start to taper 1mg per month for 16 months. The positive thing about doing it this way is that I have been able to work a strong NA/AA program and that likely will give me enough tools over time to handle the taper and emotional stuff by then.
Avatar n tn pill to start and then 1/4 of a pill every other day and see how he acts on it. He is saying to keep him on it long term with the 1/4 of a 5 mg every other day if it looks like it agrees with him and makes him feal better. Is this a good idea or will it cause any long term health problems?? My vet says it wont at such a small dose. What do you think . Would realy like a second opinion. Should I just give him small bit of aspirin at times ?
Avatar n tn What is the long term effects from being on Paxil, say ten to twenty years. Has there ever been a study?
Avatar n tn they had to give him 3 shots of morphine at the hospital to get him calmed down he was in so much pain....is there any long term side effects that might come up because of this....if there is a site to go to please send me the site....one other question...could this have killed or hurt him seriously.....
Avatar f tn My original doc that put me on it was never worried about the long term use other than dependence. He left state. I got stuck with another doctor that he had joined practices with. Apparently they did not hold the same beliefs. I am seriously thinking of switching doctors because this one wants to replace the klonopin with buspar. I work with people who have taken that long term and it can cause uncontrolled movements that are irreversible even after dicontinuing the med.
