Avatar f tn t possibly wait that long and have these symptoms. My symptoms are bloating, pelvic pain, gas, fullness, leg pain, indigestion, and nausea. I look 4 or 5 months pregnant! What was the outcome of your situation? I hope everything turned out okay.
Avatar f tn This new GYNO did a laparoscopy surgery to take biopsies to figure out what was causing so much pain. he noted I have multiple ovarian cysts measuring about 5.7. not sure what that exactly means.. but okay.. he noted that one fallopian tube is also severely damaged. and most likely has since birth. now present time Sept 2015 I have been put on Alysena low dose birth control to control excessive bleeding and cramps during my cycles. I have been on these pills for about 6 months.
Avatar f tn Do ovarian cyst symptoms and ovarian cancer symptoms look the same? I ask because I have the following: -gas -bloat/distended stomach -pressure -changes in BM's (constipation and diarrhea) -get full easily after eating -tired/fatigues -heartburn/indigestion -changes in menstruation Thank you.
Avatar f tn Functional cysts are very common in women that are still menstruating. The pain could be the cysts popping. They will also produce neausea, etc......if you hurt that bad, go to the Emergency , they will most likely do a CT Scan. Don't just for the lap, get all the tests done first.
Avatar f tn Scared that i might have Ovarian Cancer, because of the symptoms that i am having. I have pain in my leg, it gets weak, pelvic pain, stomach pain around the right side.
Avatar m tn Hello I see I am not the only one that is frustrated with the pain of complex ovarian cysts. I have been in constant pain and pressure in my pelvic vaginal area for the past 9 months. My doctor kept putting it down to menopause and put me on hormone replacement tablets and still suffer with pain. I had a colonoscopy recently it they picked up inflammation in the bowel and my doctor referred me to a gastroenterologist thinking I may have colitis or crohns disease.
Avatar f tn Shortly after the C-sec, I began having many problems with pelvic pain and several surgeries to remove ovarian cysts (simple corpus luteal cysts) and scar tissue. The issue of the pevlic instability came into question, for which I saw a physiatrist and underwent prolotherapy and physical therapy. I was still having problems with ovarian cysts and was put on continuous birth control to prevent ovulation. I ended up having 4 surgeries for the cysts and adhesions.

Avatar f tn I'm not sure what they're saying about the IUD but they are definitely indicating that you have ovarian cysts. The symptoms you're having are indicative and there is information on types of cysts and symptoms on the health pages (top right). I'm so surprised that they would give you the report without an explanation. What has your doctor said?
Avatar f tn I have been having sharp stabbing pain in the pelvic region and I can't pinpoint the problem. I can be standing and bending over, as well as, walking. It is sharp and severe but short. Should I be seeing a gynocologist or regular physician? Anyone else have these symptoms?
Avatar n tn I'm 28 years old and a year ago I started having low pelvic pain (lef side). my obgyn thought it was coming from a bladder infection that i had at that time. After a couple of weeks of antibiotics The pain never went way, he sent me for an ultrasound. everything looked ok on the ultrasound, except a small cyst on my left ovary. He put me on birth control pills but nothing happend i was still having pelvic pain.
Avatar f tn I am having extreme bloating as if pregnant, sensitivity right above belly button, under rib cage (spleen), left bottom, and sometimes pelvic pain, heavy bleeding the first few days of period, bladder burns sometimes, and general fatigue. When this first started I noticed swelling also on spleen which I could feel it gurgling when I applied pressure to it or gently massaged it. That symptom seems to have gone for now.
Avatar f tn It’s not painful just annoying & persistent. It feels almost right up on the curve of the pelvic bone on my left side primarily (sometimes the right). No other symptoms or changes. I’m off my period but I think I’m in my fertile (ovulation) window. Could it be ovarian cysts?
Avatar f tn It sounds as though you may be experiencing pain from ovarian cysts or endometriosis. I do experience similar pain and I have a history of both cysts and endo. Have you seen a doctor yet? I hope you feel better soon.
Avatar f tn Have you had an ultra-sound to see if you have any ovarian cysts? Your symptoms sound very much like the ones gals get when they have these kind of cysts. I would ask you gyn to do a ultra sound on that area to rule this out, I have had them, and my pain was similar to what you are describing.
Avatar n tn can my leg pain come from the ovarian cysts pressing on nerves in my pelvic region???
Avatar f tn Go you your OBGYN, if you should probably go on birth control pills if you have no contraindications to them. They will greatly reduce ovarian cysts and pelvic pain due to menstruation and also reduce the days you menstruate.
Avatar f tn i have fluid in my pelvic area cul-de-sac thing AND ovarian cysts (possible polycystic ovarian syndrome) yet i am diagnosed with Pelvic inflamatory disease ... can anyone make scence how they came to that conclusion? my swabs were negative too.
Avatar f tn If the pelvic ultrasound was not transvaginal you might want to request one to see if you have ovarian cysts. They can cause the symptoms you are experiencing. I was diagnosed with IBS for 18 months but it turned out my problems were being caused by cysts on my ovary. Once the cysts were removed and I had recovered from my surgeries the symptoms went away. Good luck.
384099 tn?1226443429 I wouldn't panic. Your doctor is being thorough which is good. Obviously there has to be some reason for the pain. The only way to diagnose ovarian cancer is through a biopsy but if he saw no masses on the ovaries, I wouldn't worry about it. If everything is ok, you might want to go to a gastroenterologist and look into the possibility of irritable bowel or something like that. Just be glad that you will soon have answers.
Avatar f tn Could this be related to ovulation or period cramps? Or perhaps cysts? Having ovarian cysts can cause us to be irregular and have that symptom of dull type of pain. Have you had a physical or better yet, a pelvic exam with a gynecologist any time recently?
