Hello Indah I am actually 14 years old and I have been dealing with ovarian cysts since I was 10 years old. There is no real cure for ovarian cysts but waiting it out until they naturally burst which can be very very painful. There are some solutions to it, doctors say for females the cysts occur because of our monthly cycle, its never too late to take birth control which is one of the solutions to cysts but it all depends on the person.

You should not be left to that kind of pain without a solution for at least relief from the pain. If you cannot walk, go to the bathroom etc, how much worse does it need to get? I vote second opinion.

i have a blood filled cyst i found out today--besides ibuprofin 3 times a day what can i do to alleiviate some of pain? And is this an early sign of ovarian cancer or are people freaking me out????

But in the end you know your duaghter best. You might get a second medical opinion to help you decide. Ovarian cysts are fairly common and can go away by themselves. Is your daughter in pain? I know I had one that very painful to the point that I was hospitalized, because of the pain. But I was older than your daughter. I am going in for my hundredth (LOL) U/S tomorrow, I have had this pain before with no signs of cysts as well as very small cysts.
