Avatar n tn i had a mri for hip pain and it came back with ovarian cysts and bone cysts is there a connection?
Avatar f tn These symptoms could be ovarian cyst , very similar to what i have had , the hip pain in the leg lower back pain, bloating, stabbing. Have you been to your doctor yet? Go to your doctor and ask for a scan. These cyst can cause horrible painfull symptoms so get it sorted.
Avatar f tn This will give them a good view of your ovary and any cysts that you may have. Please rest assured that ovarian cysts and cancer have most of the same symptoms. 95% of ovarian cysts are non cancerous. It is common to have pain during exercise, sex, and sitting for long periods of time when you have an ovarian cyst. Please keep us updated on how you are doing.
Avatar n tn Nope ovarian cysts don't cause back pain. I had ovarian cysts and most of my pain was where the ovaries were.
Avatar n tn I have a good friend who gets monthly cysts but has awful hip pain. She just had laparoscopic surgery and endometriosis was a problem. They removed a lot of it and now she needs to consider whether to have a hysterectomy or not. She is waiting to see if the recent surgery helps her hip pain.
Avatar f tn I am 16 years old, I was diagnosed with ovarian cysts after many times to the hospital in may. I've been to my OB several of times. But everytime I go she kinda brushes off my symptoms. I'm having fatigue, low energy, frequent headaches, back pain, hip pain, and of course low abdominal pain. I'm also in constant pain, at times it gets worse.
Avatar f tn In most cases, ovarian cysts are benign, but larger cysts, complex cysts or ones that are causing pain may need to be removed. Often, they can do a minimally invasive laparoscopic procedure with a shorter recovery time and very small incisions. Good luck at your appointment next week! I know that waiting can be hard. I'll keep you my thoughts!
Avatar n tn Hi there I have been having hip pain for over a year on and off and finally found out what was wrong but to make sure there was no damage to any tissue I had an MRI done. It came back clear for hip damage but the accidently (but suppose luckily) picked up ovarian cysts. I don't know how many, what ovary, or if it both or even the size as the doctor I saw was a paedetric joint specially not a gyno and could tell me anything else except they were there.
Avatar n tn Another possibility to look at would be your appendix, unless you have already gotten it out. Fibroids and ovarian cysts can cause a lot of pain. I would talk to your doctor about your concerns, but it does sound like it is the fibroid and cysts.
Avatar n tn I recently had an mri for leg/hip pain which ended up being an enflamed tendon. The mri also reveals two small cysts in the "left adnexa" measuring 1 cm in size. The RN at the orthopedic office said it was my ovary. Should I be concerned about this and see my gynocologist? I had a hysterectomy approximately 15 years ago and am 58 years old.
Avatar f tn I had major hip surgery a year ago and am still in pain. Before my surgery I had an MRI on my hip and there was no cyst a year ago. Now this complex cyst has appearred 1 year later and is 3.5 by 5 centimeters large. I am worried that this thing has come from nowhere it seems and in 1 year is that big. I know that's not as big as some people have had..but alarmed me that it grew so fast in only a year. There are also fibroids in my uterus..also not there before.
Avatar n tn Would these "simple" ovarian cysts cause frequent nauseation, pain in the pelvic, hip, and lower back?
1317473 tn?1329245903 Cysts can and do cause pain. When I have had cysts, I have noticed the pain more when I was sitting down. But, you describe the pain in the lower right pit of your stomach. Is the area of pain higher than belly button level or lower? Pain that is higher is suspect for gallbladder issues. Every woman experiences ovarian cyst pain a bit differently. But, it is usually described as an ache, pressure, or sharp pain in the area that is about as low as the hip bone.
Avatar n tn I have been dealing with abdomen pain (which at times can be quite severe), lower back pain, right hip pain (in the groin/joint area), fatigue, weight gain, constipation, and pain when having a bowel movement. I was referred to a GI specialist who ordered a CT of the abdomen and pelvis. The only thing that came back was a "4.9 cm well defined, thin walled cystic lesion at midline in posterior culdesac?...possible GI duplication cyst?....unclear....endemetrioma is not excluded....
Avatar f tn goes into my hip feals like the ovulation pain you get but i have it every day, worse with menstration. i havent been back to a doctor as i have no insurance right now but i am starting to worry about ovarian cancer. no bleeding or anything elese just the pain with some bloating. is it possible that cancer could grow since my last ct? are these normal cys symptoms? i thought cysts only last a few months.
Avatar n tn Up to 14% of women that have gone through menopause get cysts. There is a wide range of normal for size of ovaries. Ovarian cancer is hard to predict and size of ovaries is not used to do so. But what prompted this question? Are you having issues with your ovaries? Or did you have a concerning exam?
205009 tn?1218559728 I have functional cysts, not as complex as yours, but i get pain in my hip, lower back, and everywhere inbetween my ribs and pelvis. My gyno thinks it might be endo. Only way to find out is to have surgery.
Avatar f tn Are you saying your history of ovarian cysts puts you at risk for uterine cancer? Do you have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and miss a lot of periods? Other than that, I have not heard of ovarian cysts increasing risk of uterine cancer (or ovarian cancer). Have you tried birth control pills to try to prevent the cysts and regulate your cycles?
Avatar f tn Hi I am wondering can ovarian cysts and endometrosis cause hip pain? I have hip pain and it feel likes its buring inside. help!!!!
Avatar f tn Inflammation or infection of the large intestine can at times be responsible for groin pain as can ovarian cysts. Spinal structure issues can also cause hip or groin pain as can a lingering kidney stone(s). The list is long. I initially had groin and hip pain when I first developed chronic pain that was later diagnosed as SIJ (sacroiliac joint) Dysfunction. Sitting was next to impossible when it flares. I wish I had a more conclusive answer(s) for you. There are just too many possibilities.
