Avatar n tn Sorry, I have absolutely no ideas on this one.. hopefully someone else will be able to give you an answer .. Have you "Googled" parasites???
Avatar f tn I have since had my gall bladder removed with no explanation as to why it died, developed severe ovarian cysts, chronic yeast and vaginosis infections, chronic bladder infections, inflammation of the thyroid, elevated rheumatoid factor, fibromyalgia, reactive hypoglycemia and possible insulin resistance. Most of these things occurred within the past 5 years. I am very healthy, active, mildly overweight and eat very healthy.
Avatar f tn If they are large and they rupture, this could cause life threatening internal bleeding. Ovarian cysts could be the cause for yeast and bacterial vagisosis by weakening the immune system in it's effort to control your cysts. All woman get cysts and it's very important they we monitor them. Ruptured cysts cause scarring. These scars build up on the ovaries and make it even more likely that larger cysts will develop.
Avatar n tn my mom has a history of ovarian cysts she thinks that i had a cysts rupture last week.
Avatar f tn Can yeast infections branch into ovarian cancer, I just have tried everything under the sun to get rid of it and I've had it for 12 years just wondering if I should be worried..
Avatar f tn Hi Dmgaylord, Though our situations are different, I do have ovarian cyst all the time. I have an Endometrial Ablation 17 yes ago due to several reproductive issues (my post is at the top with full description). After having my Endometrial Ablation, I no longer have my periods, however I still feel a weighted tummy, bloating, cramping, and back aches.
168348 tn?1379357075 I have MSK which is Medullary Sponge Kidney and many times the question comes up if there is a corellation between MSK and Ovarian Cysts. Same holds true with thyroid patients ... many ask oftentimes if there is an association between Ovarian Cysts and Thyroid conditions. Anybody have any thoughts on this? I am CL of the Thyroid Disorders and post on the new MSK (Medullary Sponge Kidney) Community ..
1659011 tn?1307486147 t, I end up in the fetal position holding my tummy! And I cannot stay wet to save my life and my vag opening feels like it rips and yeast infection bonanza begins. (We've tried lube but it burned) Henry (boyfriend) is trying to understand but has recently started to complain. I feel bad I really do, for both of us. Ive talked to my family doc but he just gave me yeast infection pills...what? So I went to a gyno.
Avatar f tn I went to the gyno in October because I was convinced that it was gonorrhea or chlamydia, but the tests came back negative. I do have a problem with yeast infections, and pretty much have had a mild one that comes and goes for the last few years and am pretty much slightly itchy down there all the time. I feel like I could be driving myself crazy from thinking about this too much, but I've also been having some shooting pains in my legs.
Avatar m tn These problems included constipation, bloating, a few back-to-back Urinary Track Infections and very mild to very uncomfortable yeast infections just before I start menstruating, and a slight increase in frictional pain during intercourse.
Avatar f tn m not going to give you my advice on that aspect of it but I am a pro when it comes to ovarian cysts, so I will try and shed some light on ovarian cysts for you.. at least the best i can. I myself have had 3 surgeries in the past 2 years regarding ovarian cysts. I have had well over 10 ovarian cysts, 6 of which were removed. Your cyst is very small, I wouldn't worry too much about the ovarian cyst.
Avatar m tn Hello, Causes of such pain could be due to kidney stones, pelvic infections, urine infections, twisted ovarian cyst or rupture of ovarian cyst, appendicitis or any other referred pain due to other organ infections. Get it evaluated and an ultrasound done from a gynecologist to confirm the diagnosis. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
Avatar m tn they treated me for ururinary track infection and bladded and yeast... and like two more i dont know the name of. they also gave me ultra sounds and cat scan and said it was a ovairion sis and that the pain should go away.i really dont know how much long i can go in pain and my doc just says ifection drives me crazy because i really believe its more then that.
483733 tn?1326798446 t know of other symptoms that might be related, but I have severe anemia, GERD, and yeast/urinary infections, enlarged uterus, enlarged endometrial stripe.
Avatar f tn I’ve had years of bad vaginal odor with no infections or stds, and the other health problems I have had are ovarian cysts, a torsion, kidney stones, and anemia, and I don’t even know if they affect vaginal smell.
Avatar f tn They didnt say anything about yeast or bacteria they just said i had a discharge and i've never noticed any cold sores on him before I had an ulcer on my cervix...but i've been overly stressed out lately...and i have ovarian cysts. my thought maybe one had ruptured. But they did a swab and the lady at the hospital said my results came back negative for chlamydia, gonorrehea, and trichomoniasis.
Avatar f tn Hi everyone. Many years ago I was diagnosed with multiple ovarian cysts, and have been monitoring them since. I recently had a scan and they were confirmed as still there (I cannot remember exactly what the report said, but my doctor didn't seem concerned at all). For almost a year now, and getting progressively worse in recent months, I have been having mid to upper back ache and discomfort, which feels like bone weakness.
Avatar f tn Many benign conditions can cause elevations of the CA 125 level, including chest and abdominal infections, pregnancy, endometriosis, benign ovarian cysts, uterine fibroid, pancreatitis, normal menstruation, pelvic inflammatory disease, and liver disease. I don't know what caused the doctor to order CA-125 test, especially if you had a clear ultrasound. Do you think any of the benign conditions listed above could be a cause? Are you being treated for any condition at present?
Avatar f tn I am suffering from 2 bacterial infections from having my surgery and I am just LIVID. I ended up getting a UTI and I am hoping that is it. We are waiting for my cultures to come back! This has been hell I just hope noone else out there is going through what is happening to me. I will keep ya'll posted!
Avatar n tn I do not have ovarian cancer. My mother does, and is terminal. We may lose her in three months... if that. However, my frustration is with me. I have had nothing but problems for decades and nothing, so they say, can be done. Please bare with me as I explain my symptoms.
Avatar f tn Everything seemed fine and he chalked it up to being ovarian cysts and prescribed birth control for me, which I am currently on. The most recent time that I had the pain landed me in the emergency room after I threw up and could barely walk. The doctors ran blood tests again (not sure exactly what they tested for) and said everything looked fine. They even did a CT scan, but didn't see anything. No infections or any masses that were visible.
Avatar n tn I agree with Cindy that it is very unlikely to be Ovarian Cancer. However, young girls do get cysts. Actually cysts are very very common in young premenopausal women and 95 % benign. You may want to check the top right of this page; "Health Pages" . It has a lot of information about cysts . Of course we don't know if she even has cysts. And.. we're not Drs. here.. She really needs to be seen my by a Gyn. It could be one of many things.
Avatar n tn In late 2007 I had some issues with ovarian cysts and pelvic pain. My doctor ordered my first ca 125 with came back elevated at 52. I was followed with repeat ca 125 tests that remained around the same. In April of 2008 I had a laparoscopy to get a look inside. My doctor stated that everything looked great, with the exception of a small patch of endometriosis in the right side of the cul de sac. She did remove this, but did not do a biopsy.
Avatar n tn Birth control can help cysts. As far as the yeast infections go, do you wear really tight jeans? Tight clothes can cause a yeast infection. And if you're wearing them while using the meds, it may not help it to go away.
